I’m very glad to see Hersheypark give Skyrush those new trains. While I didn’t mind the restraints when I rode it 6 years ago, I could definitely see where the pain comes into play. But knowing how the restraints are exactly like Velocicoaster’s restraints, I can tell it’s a drastic improvement from before.
Absolutely! It is a major and positive difference for sure! So so good now!

Hershey park has done it again! I love the new station look. They did such a good job of keeping the old colors but enhancing them in a new way that looks so good. I very much agree, sitting on the brake run was so painful with the old restraints lol.
The battle for the best hyper coaster at Hershey just got even more interesting!
I think Skyrush is initially the better hyper but it probably will mold itself as the better hyper in it's place because of these changes!
They definitely outdid themselves yet again! 🤩
@@KatiesCoasters And that's why Hershey is one of my favorite places to go! While it does get very crowded. Their upkeep and rides are top notch!

This is so great to hear, especially as a season pass holder. I hated the old restraints on Skyrush and always held onto the side bars of the restraints in order to keep it from tightening throughout the ride. I thought Candymonium was far more rerideable and enjoyable because B&M makes such comfortable restraints. I'm so excited to get to the park and give Skyrush another go though!

Skyrush better than wildcats revenge?? 😃 or no
In my personal opinion, no, but it definitely is number 2 behind Wildcat's Revenge at the park!
I genuinely can’t see how these restraints help I guess I won’t know until I try. While I think it’s the best ride In that park either way what made it hurt was being forced out of your seat into the restraint. I still absolutely loved the ride felt like I was going to be thrown out the train.
The ride still delivers the amazing airtime and intensity, but now just without the thigh pain! It's so much better in my opinion than before! I think you'll like it!

Just rode it a few days ago and im sad to say they still were really painful. The ride really squishes your leg so don't keep anything in your pockets. I was genuinely in pain by the end.
I agree this hurt an area which I don’t want to talk abt the entire ride so bad to the point where I could barely enjoy a second of the ride, but if Skyrush had different models restraints, would easily be a top 5 coaster for me

F***ing FINALLY!!!!! So happy they finally fixed it, hopefully i can make it out this year, I always go in September with ACE, but im not going to CocoaCon this year, instead im going to Canada’s Wonderland with ACE.

Question is for me, is it better than Phantoms Revenge, i will always be biased towards Phantom cause its at my home park, really hope you can make it to Kennywood to experience Phantom.

I'm hyped to ride this beast with the new restraints in April. I loved it with the old restraints but I think this probably might beat Velocicoaster in my opinion.
These new restraints, in my opinion, are definitely MUCH more comfortable and give off the same ride experience as before. I'm sure it'll move up in your rankings!

I do appreciate Skyrush getting these more comfortable restraints but the ride might still feel short to some people and wish it was a little longer.
Yeah, that's the only major thing I would change about the ride... But other than that, it's great now!

Really no difference for me since I was never stapled or "crushed". Definitely still my 2nd favorite at Hershey. (Wildcat Revenge is still Numero Uno.) Now.....can we get Lighting Racer s dueling RMC!???😊

Yeah, I'm about an hour from HersheyPark, so it's not too bad! And also not far from Knoebels either!
After riding it improved and in the best seat in the house, wildcat on any seat takes skyrush by a mile, idk but I was there yesterday and got a ride on sky and wildcat and wildcat is just better, and these are all in my top 5, shows how good Hersheypark is, just wish they would have guest capacity instead of letting anyone they can in
I also agree that Wildcat's Revenge is the better ride, but Skyrush definitely makes for a good top 2! HersheyPark just hands down, has an awesome lineup! 🎢
Look at Hersheypark trying to compete with Kings Island. LOL.....Anyways as a big Kings Island fan and roller coaster fan now for 47 years, I can't wait to visit Hershey next summer 2025. Skyrush is a bucket list coaster for me now more than ever. 2024 is looking good with Top Thrill 2, KI staying great with the new Camp Snoopy addition and more parks just looking as must visits in the next 3 years.
Kings Island is one of my favorite all time park I've ever been to! I love it!

Amazing channel! Hope you get more subs. Good enthusiasm. Good info. You might consider a media career. Pro tip. Things in your hands like cell phones are comfort things while presenting. Like a pencil twirling. If you are working on presentation, its tempting to want to have something in your hands for comfort but try to see how you can talk without. I don't know your goals for the channel but many like honing their speaking skills on them as a side benefit. Many will not care about the phone and the video is still very good. Don't take this comment too seriously though. Just a small notice on the phone. @@KatiesCoasters
