Bobbie, how many JWs prayed to Jehovah and they were helped? Not too many!
Be very careful about praying to Jehovah. Mixing Jehovah and Jesus name together that is just as scary!
Did you ever notice in the Trinity book WT compared Jesus with gods! It makes me wonder about their Jesus!
Granted your Jesus is not WT Jesus but its the mixing! Take care and stay spiritually safe.

When things happen that keeps people away, they rarely say its divine intervention because they’ve been taught to think it’s Satan that’s keeps you from the meetings. 'Spiritual education has greater value than secular education. Unlike secular education, Bible-based spiritual education provides the lifesaving knowledge of God. (John 17:3) It also teaches moral values-“what is righteous and just and fair, the entire course of what is good.” (Proverbs 2:9) The apostle Paul received what could be likened to a modern university education, yet he acknowledged “the excelling value of the knowledge of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 3:8; Acts 22:3) Likewise TODAY, many of Jehovah’s Witnesses have received advanced secular education, yet they believe that their spiritual education has greater value.

It’s humiliating and embarrassing. It’s like when you beat yourself up for falling for the wrong person in spite of all the red flags you saw and then sitting there in the aftermath with the pain and harm that person caused. It never turned the light bulb on for me it was always too many holes and the way my aunts would scream and get all frustrated and tell me to just go along with it when I would insist on certain questions. Now it seems like those people weren't as smart as they seemed and some of them nowadays sound really like a brainwashed person and it's sad.

I used to be so intimidated by that b/c I am not that kind of student. But then when they start signing Jeehooovab name like a parrot and insist that you believe w/o questioning and sign praised to the GB and the paradise life, they really are robots on fear. Just learning form memory to repeat the doom and praises that the magazines tell them. Just not so smart. And it does get easier to life w/o that family member who rejects you.

Now that it all makes sense with the "real truth" being detached from those friends works until I'm able to physically move. No more guilt in secretly remembering family's Bday and mothers day. Will ALWAYS continue to use my god given intelligence to research whatever I please outside of the org to feed myself mentally and physically. After all, the governing body warned us not to speak with the apostates that hang out at the conventions. Many times I wanted to have a conversation, but ashamed that a witness would see me. Somehow, a video popped up on RUclips and I was hooked. Furiously, I looked up every video regarding JW’s. It all began to make sense…. The lies, false prophecies, 1975, the overlapping generation, and the history of the organization. I’m no longer ashamed to do the necessary “critical thinking.” I was actually PIMO for a number of years before throwing in the towel. I was never a JWs and my only experience with their church was agreeing to do Bible Studies with them in college. This lasted several months and ended when I graduated and moved back home.
These were very awkward Bible Studies because the JWs never answered any of my critical thinking questions...not even one!
They often tried to rush through lessons knowing a critical question 🙋 would come up. I would ask a question and then total silence! After the silence they'll say, "You know due to limited time let's not get off course or we'll research and address that for next week studies"
What they could not get was that I sincerely wanted to understand their teachings but more importantly wanted clarification and irrefutable proof directly from the Bible which ironically one was never opened. It was all digital literature from an iPad and click this verse here.
I realized that I was receiving a lot of answers that couldn't be questioned and had a lot of questions they wouldn't answer.
In conclusion I could never join a group or church were I could not question their teachings for further clarification or understanding. It's literally a form of mind control at that point if I did.

I have been out of the cult for many years. I moved on with my life so many years ago. Sure the cult is still in my mind as a memory. But, they have no control over me. There is nothing they can do to me. They are just part of my history. People that I used to know. In fact it has been so long, that I would never recognize any of them, even if I walked right by them. They wouldn't recognize me either. Too much water under the bridge. So that is nice. I get on these web sites just to see if the cult is still the same as when I was in. If the cult is worse or not. I find it just amazing that basically it's just as wacky as when I was in. It hasn't changed! I am also amazed that my father got involved in this cult. My mother I could see. She was easily influenced. If it wouldn't have been the jehovah witnesses it would have been some other cult. The jehovah witnesses just found her first. My father never became an elder. He just wasn't interested in doing that and he was never asked. That being said, he would never believe anything negative about anyone leading the cult. They were the faithful and discreet slave for Christ's sake!! So that proved that they were ,,,,,,,,,,,,holy! They had the red phone, the hot line, to jehovah. To this day it's hard for me to believe that he would ever get involved with a cult. But he did.

Yeah, I remember reading older publications to bolster my faith, only for it to do the opposite. I read studies in the scriptures and was blown away with how different the theology was back in CT era then it is now. I also remember rereading the revelation book to prove to myself that the witnesses interpretation was correct, I got about 1/4 ways through and it dawned on me that everything I was reading was pure nonsense. They were literally taking uneventful moments in a small cult and trying to use those moments in history as proof of scriptural prophecy being fulfilled. But you can do that with any religion at any time period in history , and write a story line about how this is fulfillment of bible prophecy. It's all nonsense at the end of the day.

You could look up the contextual meaning, it is quite clear, that and many other things… the preterist perspective should at least be considered before you assume that’s what everyone does.
Several scholars who actually know about Mesopotamia shed light on much of the worldview disconnect , NT Wright, David Bentley Hall, and Dr. Micheal Heiser work takes into consideration Mesopotamian context for imagery as well, the Sumerian , Kemetic=Egyptian , and Assyrian background all provides much insight into a culture which was not talking about what we have anachronistically projected onto the text.
I for one have studied the ancient mystery schools which still remember how Mythos is used, it’s a matter of correspondences. Anyone can project their own correspondences, but only when one is ignorant or bedarkened to the cultural contextual correspondence.

The robot charges the capacitors through a solar panel and depending on which diode is receiving the most light when the capacitor is charged the robot discharges the opposite motor to move it tword the light. My point is.. it’s allotta people in the JW community that have to to use “IF .. Then” logic to write software or make circuits but don’t see the flaws in JW logic. 🤦🏾‍♂️

20:45 I completely understand that observation where attempts are made to bend these grand points in the Revelation to fit only the actions of none other than and how farfetched such attempts seemed; eg: that the sting in the locusts' tail refers to the tracts\material left behind by witnesses which hurt people 5 months (or for a time); but in each case, their attempts to make these grand Revelation events fit activities greatly watered down what the Revelation is actually saying. We see this manipulation of the Revelation also in the case of the 2 Witnesses in Revelation 11, all the great events written about, such as the death of the 2 witnesses, their resurrection, the loud voice booming from heaven saying ''come on up here'', their ascension into heaven in a cloud, the massive earthquake that follows, the number who die as a result, ALL these points, in order to make them specifically fit activities they are all watered-down as not reeeeally happening as the Revelation states it, but it was AS IF it happened in this way.. And mistranslates such Scripture text because they know very well that they cannot honestly claim that such great events have happened to witnesses. Therefore, the 2 witnesses\prophets were not literally killed by the beast of the deep pit, and so God did not actually resurrect them, they did not actually get called into heaven before the very eyes of terrified onlookers, there was no literal earthquake, 7000 or so did not actually die..., this is ALL redefined and explained as *IT WAS AS IF* they died, it was as if they were called into heaven etc, but it didn't really happen as the Revelation states. I found these interpretations quite disturbing and dishonest. And after speaking to eg Elders about it, they would say ''well look what it says in the beginning of the book ...'' BUT, I have a problem with that because this book - ''Revelation: The Grand Climax at Hand'' - was used in the weekly Book Studies and taught as TRUTH.

Have been out for decades but still follow the ex-JW community for talking points with my JW family. Was quite surprised to watch that 2019 video with David Splane where they finally admitted that their decades long belief about the locusts mentioned in the OT book of Amos and Revelation chapter nine was a “misunderstanding” because the context clearly identifies these locusts as an evil and destructive plague and not a prophecy about the preaching work of modern day JWs. Splane even blamed Jehovah for their erroneous teaching saying he didn’t make the true meaning known to them until that point in 2019 because it wasn’t time for it!!!
Yet the context of those scriptures was clear and unmistakably plain to even the most intellectually challenged. But as usual, the rank and file do not care about any of this and just shrug it off

When the Elders began working with my wife behind my back, I sensed someone was influencing her. But she was A Devout Catholic, so naturally I thought it was someone in the Catholic Church. I never dreamed it was the Elder's I'm my Congregation. But one thing I did was decided to keep my 457 retirement money hidden from her. I increased my monthly donation to $400 a month and went with a high risk investment program. I knew something was wrong so I recorded each instance where her attitude showed disrespect for the marriage. And then just did not rock the boat. So when she gave my financial,s to the Elders they had no idea I had 45thousand in my 457 plan. So when I had a major surgery, she came but was not so supportive, when I woke up in recovery she was not there anymore. I was alone. I will always remember one Elder who was suppose to encourage me, told me he could not wait to drive by my homeless tent on the way to meetings. And I thought why would you say that to anyone, because at the time I still did not know the involvement the Elders were having with my Catholic wife. Then of course the comment you deserve what you get for marrying out of the truth! Little did they know at 61 I had already set up my retirement with Social Security and really just had to sit tight for a few months. So once January came I informed them I was flying to Africa! They told me I could not, and I told them try to stop me! I was just told at that time they would ruin me. What they didn't know was where in Africa I was going. So I told them Kenya, which was a lie, I was really going to West Africa as I had already paid a years rent and my future pioneer wife had already rented my compound for a year. Brother Alts experience with his wife sounds very familiar, his wife was working with another brother or Elders in the Congregation, probably already having sex with the Brother. That is how they do it. But for sure a plan to leave Brother Alt homeless. So it took them another 4 years to disfellowship me and my pioneer wife. 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂

I had the same experience when I was told about their interpretation of certain verses in Revelation. I was studying with a woman who was a full time minister and her friend, who professed to be of the 144,000 anointed ones. I was just a kid then but had a profound WTF moment about these interpretations. And like most who wanted this religion to be the Truth, I shrugged it off and told myself these things would all be dealt with one day. So I went along with it. Then my father violently objected to my mother and I studying! Of course I took this to be a clear and unmistakable sign of the persecution JWs would experience because they had The Truth! Woke up 16 years later and the realized I wasn’t too shocked about “the truth about the truth” because I’d been through several mini wake-up calls during that time. What did shock me was realizing I’d been in an altered state of brain-fog all that time. So waking up and going to college was actually exhilarating! I took the shunning as the price I was willing to pay to be free.

"the brotherhood is nothing but a sham"- thats exactly right. Theres a quote that goes something like " if you lose someone that doesnt respect or appreciate you, its not a loss, its a gain" If anything leaving this religion has taught me, is not to depend on anyone. Theyve made us strong and self sufficient. Bump them.

I am an ex-JW for 5 years. When I had my first JW Bible study, my instructor, she asked me did I know who the Israelites were, and I said no. So she said that I had to know who they are before reading any JW because she said that the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, is about the Israelites, the "Chosen People" of The Most High God of Israel. She took me through the Bible, from Genesis to Proverb. I learned all about those Israelites and the way "TMHGOI" love his Chosen People, ( Deuteronomy 7: 6) and the way he fought for them even though they were hard headed, stubborn, rebellious, and stiffneck people, but he still love them. And God said that Israelites are forever even, eternity because of his promised to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. After that, she went back into JW publications and I never heard about the Israelites again. She took a different route at that point. About 60 years later, on Social Media, I came across a Video that said that the Negroes, African Americans are the True Ancient Hebrew Israelites of the Seed of the Patriarchs Abraham, Isaac and Jacob from Tribe of JUDAH from Jerusalem, Israel. I began listening to so many Videos who gave me Confirmation that We, Negroes are from their "Seed". Our Bloodline, Nationality, Heritage are the Hebrew Israelites of Ancient Jerusalem, Israel. I left Kingdom immediately! never went back. Because the Israelites said that our God of Israel gave his "Chosen People" Israel, his Laws, Statues, and Commandments, not Religion, Christianity, nor Islam. (Ps. 147: 19, 20). Kingdom Hall JW teaches that the Laws are done away with, which is a lie, because the God of Israel did not give his Laws to ESAU (White Man). He gave his Laws, Statues and Commandments to Jacob (Israel) he did not do so to any other people. Also, He did not do away with his Children, the Israelites. He had them in Slavery for 400 years in America. (Gen. 15: 13, 14) in which the so-called Negroes, African Americans served.(1619-2019). Have you noticed, "All Hell is Now Breaking Out". The God of the Children of Israel is coming back to get his beloved "Chosen People" to return them to their Land that he promised their Forefathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.(Deuteronomy 7:6, and Deuteronomy Chapter 28 "The Sign that African Americans and all Negroes scattered to the four corners of the earth. (Jere. 23:3, 4, 8), (Deuteronomy 30: 1-14). Jehovah's Witness New World Order is this USA GOVERNMENT NWO UNDER SATAN. JW Organization is a Free Mason system under Satan. Charles Taze Russell was a 33rd Degree Free Mason a worshipper of Satan. D O YOUR RESEARCH!!! Every Prophet, including Christ are Black people. Read in the King James Version 1611 with the Apocrypha (Books Europeans took out of the Bible) Jeremiah 14:2), Rev. 1: 14), Job 30: 30) (Jere. 8: 21), (Song of Solomon 1:5). The Bible is the History of the Negroes only!!! God's Chosen Nation. Israel is Forever!!! JW has LIED.

A huge problem that I have is when the governing body said that if we don’t listen to them it’s like not listening to Jehovah, and they teach us not to say anything if disagree with them, we will be labeled an apostate if we disagree with them. It was then that I realized, that they have sat themselves in the seat of God, and nobody said anything about this because we are taught not to question or disagree with the governing body. My major problem is with the Christian congregation. Most Christians are not walking in the way of Christ according to the first three chapters of Revelations

That is such an important point that people who come out of high control groups should not keep defining themselves by that group. I'm sure the temptation to do that is very strong, especially for the born in or raised in. And I can totally see why that would be. They were in a community for a long period of time and were largely defined by that community. So in leaving, it is common and understandable to then connect with others who have also left and formed their own community. And that's actually a good thing. But at the same time, it shouldn't be a defining feature of a person's life anymore, lest it give that organization continued power in any way over their lives. I faced the same temptation when I was first diagnosed with a serious chronic illness. I let it define me for a time as I joined communities of others who also had the same condition. But now I recognize it has nothing to do with who I am. It's something I struggle with, that's it.

Luke 17:21 - neither shall they say , look here ! Or look there ! For behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
To anyone reading and looking for something deeper or Truth. All the answers that you need are inside of you. What we call life is something far more amazing and beautiful than we’ve been taught, you are far more powerful than you been taught. Every answer you seek is within you , don’t just believe me search for yourself. Ask yourself why is this thing called life even here and what’s the purpose for it ? Also ask who am I underneath all the labels and stories that have been told to me since birth? Isn’t it true that you knew nothing when you were born and anything that you know was Taught to you by someone else. Seek and you will find. thank you for reading this 🙏🤟

Don't forget that some of these poor misguided victims truly believe in the god of Watchtower. They have been programmed to fear the JW doctrine of Armageddon above all things, and the loss of their loved ones comes second. When they believe in their hearts all the terrible JW lies, the only person who can set them free from their bondage is Jehovah himself! It's after they become disillusioned they need YOU. Keep up the good work! Reveal the underbelly of the JW beast!
