Yea, and before it was called the edge it was called CFNY FM sooo what im getting at is that it doesn't matter what the radio station is called. The Edge has always played out of the ordinary songs and just because these guys happened to play live and the edge happened to post it on RUclips doesn't mean that this is all the edge plays. so in a way you are hating, and you just realy haven't listened to the edge long enough to understand the vast majority of songs that they play.
Can you quote where the negative comment was about Civil Wars? I don't think your interpreting what I've actually commented about correctly. I was commenting on how the Edge is turning into a Folksy, Indie/Shoe gazer pop channel. My mom has better taste in music than most people I know. She has a PhD in music so that is kind of a compliment that she listens to Civil Wars at dinner : ) Turn that frown upside down sunshine!
The last thing the edge needs is more accoustic music. They are called "The Edge". If you like Folk music go to the Mariposa Folk Festival. I want to hear rock n roll, alternative... This is what my mom listens to at dinner time.
