To answer a couple of commonly asked questions in the comments:
- Build is 50 STR, and the rest in VIT. I have a Stam Rune equipped for extra swings, as well as more Health and Rally Chance. imo the only mandatory ones are the Stam Runes
- The Gems are farmed from Winter Lanterns in Mensis, and the ones in Fishing Hamlet. Nothing fancy, I just equipped the ones that made Blunt Damage higher
- I left the Lady Maria fight out of the video because it was boring to watch
I had a different question, actually: What’s up with the sound quality? Kinda sounds like Bloodborne PSX moreso than the actual Bloodborne.

How come this game never gets old? Have platinum, full slots of characters at least over level 100. Hundreds of hours. Yet I still come back. The game is just genuinely so fun

Oh man, I've forgotten what it was like when bosses actually buckled under your blows. Bloodborne combat feels so visceral and empowering.
Right? Having bosses that actually get sent flying because you just hit them with a chunk of stone or metal was just so fun in that game.

Bloodborne, you’re hunter and it feels like it your in danger but you feel powerful yet still skillfull like real hunting kinda
The idea of a giant weapon sheath for a straight sword as a trick weapon was always an amazing concept to me
It's such a seamless idea, it's perfect. This and Ludwig's blade come to mind!
This was always my favorite weapon. Amazing name, and even more amazing design aesthetic. It pancakes everything, and the transformation animation is just badass.

As someone who has just completed a full Kirkhammer playthrough, the beast blood pellets are absolutely overkill here.
what’s a +3 ? and how do i get fire on my weapon ??
@@kavid8120+3 is the number of times you upgraded the weapon using blood stones in the Hunter's Dream workshop.
You can get fire (or electricity with the bolt paper) on your weapon by using fire paper. You can also add elemental damage such as fire by equipping certain gemstones on your weapons.
Some weapons don't even need special items to inflict elemental damage, as their "trick mode" endows the weapon with such boost (tonitrus, boom hammer)
+3 is when you fortify your weapon and use fire paper to get fire on your weapon

My first run of Bloodborne I had been so incredibly dumb I never found out how to upgrade my weapon till after the shadows of yharnam. Took me six months to finally beat them with the un-upgraded hunter axe. It was true suffering

I used it for the entirety of my first play through, I just love bonking stuff
I had already platinumed BB, and started a new character. I really had little intention to play the campaign, I was going to mess around in the chalice dungeons. I did a Kirkhammer strength build. By the time I got to Vicar Amelia I was around level 105. Two R2 charge ups and about six seconds was all it took. Considering how much trouble I had with her in my first playthrough. Damn that was beyond satisfying.
In my current playthrough, I gemmed my Lost Kirkhammer to raise only my fire attack. With an oil urn and a fully charged 2-handed R2, I get over 3k damage. I friggin love this thing!
Told my friend the Kirkhammer is the best weapon in the game and he asked why he keeps dying with it and I told him a hint of the Eldritch Truth…

Or your friend's timing is poor. As martial artists & boxers occasionally say "speed beats strength but timing beats speed". That is exactly why the Kirkhammer is easily one of my favorite weapons from any game. Once you get the timing of it down it's just such a blast.
timing is key. I was terrible with it but aftee playing through game 2x and gotten rhythm patterns down I'm much better with it
The Kirkhammer does so much damage haha. I prefer using Ludvig's Holy Blade, but man you cannot deny the damage the hammer deals.
Agree. I too am a LHB abuser. I was still super new when I tried Kirkhammer, it felt the extra overall dmg did not make up for the ridiculously slow speed, and while LHB transformed did strike and thrust damage, Kirk only did strike. Still the meme potential of Kirk is outstanding, might have to play with it some more.
@Kerr sadly I played bloodborne for the first time last month. I dont play console but found a way to play it on PC via a Ps+ subscription. Somehow in all of Sonys wisdom they dont allow DLC on PS+. HMS was my targeted weapon but couldn’t get it
The problem is that the kirkhammer shreds when you actually hit with the weapon if you clip you only get 60% of the damage so it's really inconsistent, one of the few reasons I personally don't connect to the weapon.

@Kerr Currently in the process of looking for one. I am BY NO MEANS done with BB. I started streaming a few months ago, and wanted to kick it off with my first time going through the FromSoft collection since I hadn't played one of their games since original dark souls. Bloodborne literally became my fav game when I played it, but I moved on the DS3 since I didnt have DLC

Used this weapon for more than 50% of the game. If you're comfortable with heavy weapons you'll fall in love with this one!
I have a fire-grmmed Kirkhammer. If you oil-up your opponent, a full R2 is absolutely devastating.

the music sync with Orphan of Kos was actually legendary at points including his little dance when he goes to phase 2.

oh man, that final strike on Martyr Logarius was pure anime badassery the way you both charged up for your super attacks, only to see one of you stumble and die after they connect
6:03 So Logarius has this aura he uses in his second phase that warps bullet trajectory. Basically, unless you shoot him point-blank, your shots go around him. I think the parry stagger is you "breaking" the aura, because I did the same thing when _I_ killed him with Kirkhammer.
The only difference is my strike was an L2 swing mid-flight.

@lokouba What? That's how Logarius works. He can deflect bullets and you can "parry" him without the gun.
I couldn't even pull off some of these big hits with a hardcore strength leveling process with the Whirligig XD The Kirkhammer is something else. Like At least not these HUGE charged R2's. Now, ofc, beasts just turned into paste with the Whirligig, but i sure didn't super bonk the Amygdala XD
This video has inspired me to make a bonk build. Can you tell me how you got it to be so powerful? Or is that literally the amount of damage it does normally. Also the editing is great.
pretty much max out strength, get good physical attack gems that also improve charge attack, and get lots of beast blood pellets bc kirk hammer fills the meter fast asf and when you’re over 300 beasthood you get 70% more physical damage
I played with this weapon exclusively on my second run, when you figure out how to time the L1 to R1 combos it’s insane

Holy shit! I've done my first playthrough of the game with this weapon; at first I thought the damage wasn't rewarding for the slowness of the weapon, but when I discovered during the endgame that you can equip up to three blood gems instead of only one (yeah I've been so dumb 😅) using it became so much satisfying!

The Kirkhammer is insane and I'd argue that it's one of the strongest weapons FromSoft has ever made.
It scales almost exclusively from strength, which lets you save levels for other stats as you can basically ignore skill. It has a fast straight sword moveset with a thrusting attack for counter hits. The hammer mode easily breaks enemy poise and rallies really effectively because it's a ton of blunt damage. The hammer even has horizontal sweeping attacks, so its got some crowd control too.
Forget Ludwig's Holy Blade and the Chikage, real hunters use the Kirkhammer.
Kirkhammer is definitely an underrated weapon. One of my personal faves

Consider Boom Hammer an option. Bonk hard and also it's noisier and fancy.
Plus you can paired with Tonitrus or Amygdala Arm if you want rolplaying something or just a very trusty and fun alternative.

I had the same thing with Logarius, recently I decided to to try out the weapons I never did and on my Beastclaws playthrough I parried him not by using a firearm but by one of my r1 swings. I was very surprised to see that happen, it's not even something you'd think possible in the first place

i still think amy arm rules over all it has a one handed heavy smasher so you can still parry it has a scythe form that has ungodly reach and has the second best rally potential just behind the axe also scales with arcane so free finds plus power increase

Damn, you made it look easy, kirks hammer was the first weapon I beat the game with, it would normally hit around 1000 for some reason, and I didn't do the old hoonters DLC yet, on NG+ I started using the burial blade

Just came back to this game for the first time years and went strength heavy. I used Kirkhammer until I felt safe enough to go get the Amygdala arm(never used it much and wanted to have fun), and I was surprised at how easily the Kirk brought down darkbeast Parl. Just dash into him and hold R2 while locked onto his head. The arc of the hammer smashes right into him and just stunlocks the FUCK out of him. I'd never had such a easy time with ol'sparky before :D

Hello, about the copy right claims: they're not false. Technically any music that doesn't explicitly state that it is public domain or cc0, you're not allowed to use.
Technically you could even get copyright striked for playing/showing a copyrighted game like Bloodborne the only reason things like that are allowed is because creators choose to allow them, because usually at the worst case it doesn't affect them, and most of the time it brings positive attention to whatever they made.
"Fair use" includes things like reviewing, critiquing or educating, and even then there is proportions of how much original content compared to the copyrighted content there should be. But yeah, almost all content on RUclips related to games is technically against copyrights because simply showcasing something copyrighted in a way that doesn't fall under fair use is technically not something that you're allowed to use or even show in your video.
