use the dish soap first then use the ACV as a conditioner rinse. the ACV has a natural oiliness to it which will help the skin that was dried from soap.
Am hearing impaired and I Don't understand what is being said. Could you please put it on closed caption? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Linda D.
But I thought Peppermint oil is toxic to dogs… I had to take my dog to the vet hospital because peppermint oil bottle had leaked throughout the house and he was exposed to the smell for about 1 hour but that was enough to affect him immensely
I admire your love for dogs and thank you for all your advice! I'm sorry many people think they're "experts" in the comments, it's repulsive when people are rude. Some people are just incapable of thinking first not reacting with emotion. I've found the same advice for fleas on many "natural help" sites, used blue dawn on my dog three years ago, and she was just fine. I've also used the ACV topically and she was great, but I didn't use it when there was a lot of bites because it stings. I tried the ACV 1 tsp/ bowl last year she did drink it, gave it to her about 3 times. I use it for my own health. But only raw unfiltered ACV, with "the mother". I think that's a confusion for some. I can say that for certain, lol, only drink the raw unfiltered, because it has the enzymes that make it all work. :) As for the taste, I laugh at the comments that it's disgusting. To each his own! ACV has been a home remedy for decades, and for humans a teaspoon in 8oz is very palatable. Adding a little honey makes it even more tasty. Most people know that you never drink it straight/not diluted in water. Am I right? Lol About the essential oils, obviously your pups are ok and you've used them, so people need to chill out. There's a lot of conflicting info online regarding EO's and dogs. Cats it's definitely a no, they metabolize at a faster rate so the oils are toxic. (Had to research that for my cats, lol) As for the oils diluting in water, one comment mentioned it's not safe, but like I said your pups are just fine! Lol I'm thinking it's the spraying process, since the oil will float in the water, then only small amounts will spray out, which is good. I always used a carrier oil for myself, but that's rubbing it on my skin. I actually have a recipe for peppermint oil in water, in a spray bottle to spray around the house to keep spiders away! Lol I support you! And your fur babies are adorable! Keep up the vids we love them, and thanks again ❤️
I never knew what was causing my dog to have seizures until 2019 I googled it (Turned out it was the flea collar I took it off right away no seizures since . I will not take my dog to vet just for them to inject some chemical that ll cause caner ,tumors and grandmal seizures nah . I'm looking for natural ways so thanks for the info.
I use Diatomaceous Earth (food Grade because of pets) can be found on line and Tractor Supply. It is a mineral powder that can help you get rid of fleas, cockroaches, ants, and dust mites anything with a exoskeleton. I usually spread in yard and kennels and occasions rub small amounts on pets fur. Have not had any issues with it. *if putting on pets coat, cover their mouth and nose and wear a mask as this is a very fine powder that can irritate the throat while applying.
@@watts6099 If using diatomaceous earth, how do you apply that to your pet to kill the fleas on them? (Food grade of course) You just put the powder right onto their skin and just leave it there...or ?
I hv a 5 year old chihuahua. She got fleas and was miserable. We bought her natural care rosemary and thyme flea shampoo. We massaged it in for 10 minutes and then rinsed. All the dead fleas were in the tub! However, now she has a skin infection w hotspots and is excessively shedding from scratchin and biting. If u spray that w acv i bel it will sting her alot. Any suggestions? I did bathe her in an oatmeal chammomile shampoo to soothe her. I appreciate any advice. Thank u for posting this video
I have a Beagle and she has very sensitive skin. I've used the soap it works but irritates her skin. So my question is. Will spraying Apple cider vinegar around furniture kill fleas
I have tried the vinegar in their drinking water, the dish soap as well as the vinegar and water spray and neither seems to help!!! Can you please recommend something that's better and more effective please?
Vacuum every day at least once. Use a boric acid treatment on your carpets while pets and kids are removed leave overnight and vacuum up. Use a topical repellent on all animals in the house and wash all bedding once a week
I have dried the diatomaceous earth and it comes in such small packages and is very expensive to use. I really didn't think it worked too great. I tried using it in the house and on the dogs. I would really like to find something I can use in a sprayer for the yard and inside my home. Would you have any other ideas on this problem? And it seems that this year nothing kills fleas.
Are any of these safe or any of them more safe than others for a 12 week old puppy? I have a pitbull mastiff puppy and when I got him he was covered in fleas and I wana know which is the best natural and safe to give him a bath with. Coconut oil seems to work pretty well but it seems like he gets diarrhea after licking it and also the fleas just get back on him whenever he goes out to use the bathroom again, anyone got any suggestions? Thanks
These are all natural treatments that should be safe, even for young puppies. You could always cone him, so he can't lick the coconut oil? The ACV is my go to for getting rid of fleas. It has worked on many dogs in the past.
Top Dog Tips thank you, I bathed him in dawn dish soap and then rubbed coconut oil into his back pretty good and sprayed his legs and belly with vinegar, seems to have helped slow them down quite a bit. He’s a Florida pup so fleas are out like all year, but I’ll just keep at it. Thanks again!
No, no... No.... Absolutely no. Why are you giving out information that can actually hard a dog? First, you never ever spray a dog with 50/50 apple cider vinegar. That is way too harsh for them. I was 10 times more confused how you explained giving them acv in their... Water bowl? A dog won't drink that!??!? I can barely stand taking my daily shot of it, it tastes awful! Even diluted that much, a dog is usually very picky about their water (my 3 dogs are anyways). You seemed to have found that essential oils work, lavender and peppermint are 2 of them. Then you find apple cider too, so did you just decided to throw in everything together and cross your fingers there are no bad reactions when mixing all of these together and putting it on your dogs sensitive skin...? I knew this video was going to be a busy when she started off with basic dish soap.......? Oh lordy......
People like you make me sick! If you have all the answers how about you make a video. And the title of the video should be 10 REASONS WHY I'M A KNOW IT ALL. You have all the sarcasm and telling someone they are wrong but don't offer any suggestions. So thats why I feel that you my friend are full of shit and full of yourself. Good job showing everyone how easy it is to make yourself sound like a 🤡. Have a wonderful day Wendy The Bozo Hamilton !!
Why so negative...just ask questions and read on Google to get answers. Apple cider vinegar and water will help with fleas and the pet fur . I don't think you are researching material before judging this lady social media post...Enjoy your day!

Do you have to use all the products or can you just use dish soap?

I found an adorable puppy, which she is covered in fleas.
Would I have to let the dish soap sit for the full 10 minutes?
Is there an effective yard treatment? That seems to be our reoccurring issue.
