Hey I’m 55, I married a women here met in 2019 in a Kayak Race, Love it, As for the older men, Gaps not a problem, It’s More Companion for security, So No worries really, Being younger I use to really look at it as WTF, But No it really works if you find a good Girl. At 73 ive got some aches and pains popping up!! But i certainly haven't given up on life. I still find a new adventure daily....The Philippines is definitely in my plans again.

Jokes aside, thanks for breaking the news for me about Pete Rose. I didn’t get to see much of him in Reds uniform. But I do remember seeing a game at Riverfront Stadium when he was with the Phillies, and he hit a home run in that game.
My aims for the Philippines should I end up retiring there have always been more affordable living and travel. I have never envisioned myself having a rotation of women. Dating with intent will be the way for me.

You’re a great communicator and you provide a great message to all. I was a very good guy to my family, business patrons, and created a wonderful life in the US. My amazing wife passed and took care of my parents until they passed. So now it’s my time. I work hard on my health and giving back. I decided to be a SE Asian slow traveler and it is beyond my wildest imagination. I have so many friends in all countries and it feels so good. I want to travel some more and find the country that suits me best. There are many great choices for me. I am very proud of how I redefined and recreated a life giving life for myself. I volunteer every where I go. I always have. Helping others in a responsible way is a gift of life. Both parents lived until late 90’s. Just got back my labs from my physical and my doctor said I’m like 30 year old. Some birds aren’t meant to be caged. It’s the 4th quarter and I have a winning playbook. I live with no regrets doing no harm, not drinking, loving myself and learning every day. Thanks Mike. 🙏🏼
Very good. Your right about being around people from your home country. I don't have that in Tuguegarao. She has sister in LA Union by San Juan. Been there twice. I heard there is some Americans there. I do like the Philippines.
My wife is from Cebu. She DOES NOT want to move back since I am now retired. Me? I'm married so going there to chase young cooch is off the table. Good food? We have great food in Texas. Low cost rents? My house is paid for. Our cost of living well in NE Texas is 80 to 90K a year. Below the passive income I make.
I think this is one of the most intelligent advice videos I have seen regarding moving to South East Asia.
I can tell it comes from a wealth of experience.
My goal is to retire there in 8/9yrs and tbh I have a level head regarding expectations.
I’m not going for tail but for a better standard of living in retirement and if I meet a long term partner in the process so be it.
There will be no rush for me 👍🏻

Lot of good points in this video. Here’s one I don’t think you mentioned. Some might visit whatever country they are interested in just to see “ If it’s realy how they say/show”.
The guys who work out and are active, and pay attention to what they eat and drink may or may not live longer but there is a pretty good chance they will remain self sufficient longer than those who don't.
