    Liked and subscribed! Best video I've seen on the Dunlop Roto-vibe. This was very helpful, thank you. 🎸

    Many thanks for this demo Dave. Not many other demoers (is that word?) of this pedal actually play with the speed during licks, which in my opinion is the main selling point for this pedal.
    You really made this pedal sound how I expected it to sound with fuzz and bends and modulating the speed. This will be my first univibe pedal

    Dave, just, thank you, very, very, much, not only you show how to adjust the controls of that univibe but, you also give a lesson about the order of the effects... Thanks a lot from Spain...

    I don't think they make this pedal anymore. Seems to be out of stock on the dunlop site and there's limited quantity elsewhere. At 270 bucks it's gonna sting but I gotta pick one up

    Really want one of these because it sounds like they handle gain better than normal vibes

      Bruce Hamilton They really do. I can't recommend them enough. :)

      I've had the full dunlop univibe and expression pedal for years now but it just doesn't like gain as much as one of these and its so noisy

    Isn't the amp distortion after the rotovibe pedal, while the pedal distortions and fuzzes are before the rotovibe? That alone would make a huge difference in how the distortion reacts with the rotovibe.

      looks like it is before both the pedals and the amp in the signal chain

      It’s after the fuzz. The cables go Vox>Roto>Guv’nor and the cable coming out of the Fuzz looks the same as the one going into the Wah.

    nice playing, is the guitar going into the wah>rotovibe>coolcat>bluesbreaker>amp ? cheers

    Loved the video! Just received my Rotovibe and noticed that my intensity knob moves in a complete circle, with no stopping point. Is that normal? Seems like it would turn one direction a bit then stop then go back the other direction and stop but mine turns in a complete circle. Wondering if mine is broken/defective.

      Could be the dial isn't tight enough. Theres a little screw in the side of the intensity dial. Tighten it up and see what happens. Thats if its loose. :)

    Does it work with wah and fuzz without noisey oscillation?

    It's a complex phaser circuit with op amps. Cool phaser!.

    Got a used rotovibe - when the heel is all the way down there is no audible effect. This is with the depth knob in any position. Is this a pedal malfunction or can something be adjusted inside the back of the pedal? Any help appreciated!

    • @thedavesimpson
      @thedavesimpson  5 лет назад

      There are two little trim pots inside the pedal that you can play with to get it to work right. The one i am using here was like that when i got it.
      You might have to remove the glue thats over the pots but its so worth it.
      Just have it plugged in as you tweak. : )

    Do you experience any signal loss when the pedal is off, and if so how do I fix it without having to buy a buffer?

    Are you going to do a video on modifying the modulation on the rotovibe

      watched few hours of dry bell videos very good but like rotovibe more less complicated all in one and kinda sounds more sweet and dimensional what about inner pots video

    Where would you place the Proctavia in the chain?

    • @thedavesimpson
      @thedavesimpson  7 лет назад +1

      I would put it after the wah pedal. :)

    • @thedavesimpson
      @thedavesimpson  7 лет назад +1

      But before the fuzz. :)

      Thanks man. I saw one vid where the guy chains crybaby wah>>big muff>>proctavia>>rotovibe. Sounds great for Ernie Isley. Your sound is dead on for Hendrix. Great videos :-)

      Dave Simpson That's interesting. I've been looking around because I really wanna see how one of these works on my board, but everyone is saying NOT to get the JD model.
