Honestly, Galveston gives me a weird vibe. Especially the graveyards, beach, and the historical houses. Every time we return to houston and have to pass it all, I get this sinking feeling until we cross back out of Galveston

It’s really haunted. There are mass graves located in different spots all over the island from ppl that died in the storm of 1900. It’s pretty wild.

Creepy. I have had my own strange encounter here. I'd never heard any ghost stories about the hotel so I cant attribute it to that.

I stayed at that hotel back in 2013 and from the moment i got there i got this eerie feeling. One night i went to the restroom on the first floor near the far end of the hotel, while inside i kept feeling like someone was watching me and walking around me. Later that night i googled to see if it was haunted and i found out people had different stories, i found out a lady had died there on the second floor. My room was on the second floor and would have to pass thru that one room, everytime i would pass it up i would feel like someone was walking behind me.

I stayed there 4 months ago. At first I thought nothing of the stories people told about it. Nothing really happened the first night, but the second day, while my mom was in the bathroom the lights turned off. There is no timer so it had no explanation. My dad read something about a child who liked to play pranks on people. In the morning he couldn't find his wallet which he was 100% sure he put on the table next to him, but after a whole hour of searching we found it in a drawer we didn't even open. Not as creepy as anybody else's experiences, but it's definitely something, and it's definitely convinced me unrestless spirits habit that hotel.

Very cool experience, thanks for sharing! It's always interesting to hear how these energies interact with everyone differently. What part of the hotel did this occur in?

    • @PastLivesUrbex
      @PastLivesUrbex 8 лет назад

Strange Town It was the second floor, although we heard from the employees that more abnormal activity happens in the third and fourth floor

visiting Galveston this weekend with my friend and staying at the Tremont. I grew up in Houston and know all of the ghost stories from Galveston, but my friend doesn't, so I'm not sure if I should tell her the hotel is haunted. she wants to go on a ghost tour and I'm thinking about just waiting for then to let her find out haha. She'll probably be less freaked not knowing about it for as long as possible.

@@adamperez349 I worked nights in the ER next to Old Red in 2011-2012. I would walk through the garage passing the Old Red structure on my breaks to get to the helipad near the tug boats. The first time I saw something, an old man wearing a baby blue shirt and khaki pants was sitting on a bench in front of Old Red. I said good morning and he didn’t respond. When I turned to face the street I noticed in my peripheral no one was there. I looked at the bench and no one was there. It seemed impossible for the man to be able to disappear that quickly. The bench was in the front near the middle of the building. Didn’t feel like a negative vibe. I’d see that guy sitting there dressed in the same clothes at times when I’d walk to the tug boats on my breaks.

We’ve been here all week and haven’t experienced a single thing. Great hotel with amazing staff! Everyone is so helpful! We were hoping to see or hear something but not this time. We heard the Magnolia suite was haunted. By the way the room prices are amazing! Much less expensive than other hotels in the area and it’s a 4 star hotel! We will definitely stay here again in the future.

You missed one of the stories. One of the bartenders, about 20 years ago, was telling us about asking questions in the elevator to the "resident ghost". Things like one tap for yes, two for no, then asking "did you die here? Are you male? Female?" It happens when you're travelling the elevator and when you're not asking the questions, there are no taps so it's not a mechanical artifact. Quite weird.

I stayed there in 2014 for a week and had creepy felings the whole time i was there. One night while returning to the hotel i went to the restroom on the first floor near the end of the hallway. While in there i felt others were in there walking around but i was the only one inside restroom. I was staying on the 2nd floor in the last room to the end. While walking down hallway i always like there was presence behind me..

It makes me so sad that you guys try to give legit history and do what appears to be a good, skeptical investigation, and the Dash has to bring his nonsense into his interview. For one, the hole on that bar mantlepiece is for an old (old old) gas lamp. There's another, identical one on the opposite side of the sculpture. You don't need the hype of falsified stories. You really should edit out the whole Dash Beardsley interview so other viewers don't find out and think your whole show is as fake as this story from Dash.

    • @Captain_Diego

Dash is a total joke in this small paranormal community of ours.

OMG my wife and I are sitting in the lobby across from the bar right now and we watched this video! When we got to the part with the bullet hole story from Dash. I found the “bullet” hole Dash pointed out! Then my wife said wait a minute there’s another “bullet” hole on the other side of the bar almost in the exact place as the “bullet” hole Dash pointed out. Now that’s a coincidence! Two “bullet” holes in the same exact position on opposite sides of the bar!! LOL yeah NO! 😂 as explained above they are probably from gas lamps from a long time ago. I agree get rid of that interview!!

Think so. We walked into our room and noticed one bed looked like it was being used. The other bed was perfectly made. I felt like they had given us the wrong room. So we blew it off, since our 13 year old grand daughter was with us.
Then I sat down between the beds to turn on the light. And I couldn't get it to turn on. Then it stated to flash. I tried the switch again and it kept flashing , even in the off postion. So I took out the bulb when we went out to dinner, for safety reasons.
That night I was still tossing and turning at 11:30, when I heard 'Pappy" whispered . My grand kids call me by that name. So I raise up and look over to my grand daughter, she sound asleep. The whisper didn't come from her direction. Sounded more like someone was standing close between the beds. More the height of a child. I couldn't post the video of the light, but it's on RUclips under The Tremont House. Happy hunting! lol
