RIP Dash.
I used to go to school in gatesville. My friend who was born in 1912 in gatesville told me stories of how his grandparents were slaves, ( i think his parents were too as children) but he was a black man who was employed by powell supply company for years, and who was self employed when he opened the mechanic shop in gatesville, that he worked for years, he and i shared the same birthday june 28th , he passed in 1995 at the age of 83 . If you see a long old car cruising the streets, with a small grey haired black man ....dont fear.....its just Mr.snow......ridin.....
Im watching part 2, first-time viewer. Im am sold! You guys are the real deal for us spirit lovers, thank you. No acting or over dramatically done. Wonderful!
Always wanted to eat there
I grew up down the road back in the day this was the bridge we had to drive across to get from elroy to Austin we were told the story of the man who was hung but I coulda sworn it was a black man who slept with a white woman….. My Dad drove us across the bridge alot deep in the night 1230pm-2am some nights to tell us the ghost stories and freak us out…. i remember one night we heard chains rattling n footsteps running on the boards even my dad got spooked n hauled ass outta there. Gentrified Austin made that a cute lil cross walk and cut off both entrances so no one could drive across it but even as a kid swimming under the real bridge was eerie as fk man 😅
You don’t communicate with one who has passed, that’s a HUGE misconception and ignorant if your trying contact a certain person that “supposedly” died there. You are only willfully inviting demonic entities (who are master deceivers) that could attach themselves.
The whole island is haunted..trust that😂😂😂😂😂
Treemount house was $400 a night years ago @1998 should of camped out on the beach
Stayed there with sam Houstons great great granddaughter
My home town!! 😎✌️
ITS NOT" KAREN- KAWA" YOU IDIOTS!!!! ITS KAR-WAN-KA WA GO SMOKE ANOTHER BOWL!!! YOU WRONG AGAIN POT HEADS- THERE ARE NO- REPEAT NO ROCKS NATURALLY AT GALVESTON ISLAND- ITS A HUGE SAND BAR- THOSE ROCKS WERE PLACED THERE BY MAN!!!! STORM CONTROL...... ISALND OF DOOM RELATED TO SO CALLED PIRATES AND AFTER THE 1900 STORM AND BEACUASE INDIANS ATE PEOPLE
I think that means someone who is under witchcraft heavily is around.
Just wondering if being a haunted hotel makes a place more or less popular. I guess more with all the ghost hunters out there.
I was born in yoakum Texas at this Hospital so is my brother Gary my mother name me after the nurse that was killed I am 65 years old now
I worked here as a housekeeper for about 6 months it's true the hotel is haunted the employees all told me they witnessed different things including myself I have also had the guests complain to me
racoons be crazy
The scratchers room scared the crap out of us. While playing cards, we heard whistles , then the banging started. From under us then on the ceiling.
You missed one of the stories. One of the bartenders, about 20 years ago, was telling us about asking questions in the elevator to the "resident ghost". Things like one tap for yes, two for no, then asking "did you die here? Are you male? Female?" It happens when you're travelling the elevator and when you're not asking the questions, there are no taps so it's not a mechanical artifact. Quite weird.
Ever think about the families of the loved ones who passed? Exploiting them is wrong
My Great great Grandfather and his neighbors were heading home...the war was over. A Colonel and his men murdered them after calling them liars. They executed innocent men who were husbands and fathers! Henderson is my family name, and I can’t remember if it was John or Sebird....the son was murdered while serving as Marshall in Arizona, that was My Great Grand Father ...in 1901, My Grandfather Nathan Sebird Henderson Sr, and in 1926 My Father Nathan Sebird Henderson Jr and 1941, Clifford B henderson my uncle was Born. That breaks the family name as the last 2 had only children.....both girls.
When are you coming back? 😢😢🙏
I miss these videos. I hope you are doing ok and plan to come back.
I’ve never seen anyone investigate outside at this location before
Bro the fact I like down the road from this hospital 😢
SEGUIN STAND UP
The orphanage was NOT at the Galvez location! It was where Wal-Mart now sits.
This hotel is ugly
Underrated channel, best video. Fun fact: ive been here and i got put right above room 501
Ya'll did a good job on the back story of this place. I'm from Dallas and never heard of this place, I will be visiting,
If you guys think that this is weird, I can seriously only imagine what you would think of the stuff I have go on at my house. Whoa.
When I first came to Austin I came knowing I was begining over completely. When I got off the Amtrak I went over the pedestrian bridge down the side road , where the golf course is. I walked under the train bridge and there I was at shoal creek. It was like I enterer a whole different world. It was beautiful! It didn't take long before I could sense terrible things happened their throughout the centuries. There was a lot of sadness fear and anger. These are the more mild of my experiences over 2 years. Myself and another individual lost 4 hours . We were running from something large. He seen it I felt it's presents and turned and ran. We became disoriented losing our way. Then I remember see a bright white flash then knew exactly where we was. got out of the woods ran across the pedestrian bridge over to the dog park. I felt the need to divide myself from what ever it was with the water. That is when we realised the clock went roughly from 9 pm to 1 am. By the time this event happened I that area well enough I knew where to walk barefoot at night. So for me to lose my way even in the dark was abnormal. I've experienced a few other things but it's a lot to type.. So I will leave you with this.
Thank you for sharing your story. Quite intriguing.
so this park is creepy af. camped out here several years ago and cudv sworn i went through a portal which is why im here
Excellent work with the investigation. I appreciate that you didn't fake evidence. Too much of this is going on these days. Cheers from Toronto, Canada!
Agreed 100%!! It’s an epidemic really 😩
I lived in Mineral Wells for 4 mths, and we had to move! That whole town is full of negative energy. We couldn't get out fast enough. The house I lived in was extremely haunted also. I think that whole town is.
My paranormal activity experiences in Galveston have been at Galvez Hotel before the recent renovation work and also Hubcap Grille Restaurant.
I live in Galveston and now all the history and ghost activities. Believe it or not I’ve never had a paranormal encounter in Galveston
me and my homies smoke on that bridge u walked accross
Her name is riley aplet.
How do you know her name? I can’t find anything online.
I was just at the hotel and slept on the 5th floor on room 509 and experienced absolutely nothing!!
Hey I know this is an old video but I thought you guys might like to know something about the Moores crossing area I didn't see you mention in your videos on this place. I grew up and still live very near there and have heard plenty of stories about the bright itself but one thing not many people seem to know about happened about a half mile from the bridge. In August of 1925 there was a family of 3 who were brutally murdered in their home just up the hill from the bridge and the crime was never solved. It was the Engler family who operated a farm there and the husband, wife and their adult daughter were all shot to death one evening. I've often thought that some of the paranormal activity around the bridge might be related to that event. You guys might want to do a story on that sometime if you ever come back to the area. Let me know if you would like more information on the murders, there isn't much online about it at this time.
Thank you for this information. We had no clue about this.
I'm not from here but recently moved here. These people are creditable (don't know the people)in my opinion. Small town Gossip would let everyone know if this wasn't true.
My wife and I used to live in that two story house right behind the hospital. We used to always see shadows in the windows. Called the cops a few times thinking someone had broken in. That house was also very haunted, but God it was gorgeous. Heard singing, a horse and carriage at the front of the house at 1 in the morning. All sorts of stuff.
Only nine no double digits number no big deal 🐛🐠🐀
What do you expect when you murder all the indigenous people that live there and then pretend you made it and live in their places 🛑💩🇺🇸 and there's matching buildings just like this in Rochester and Buffalo New York one is a lawyer's office one is a privately owned building they exact same and inside and outside it's not better you should look and see if they have a dam in the lake
Spent a week in mineral wells working right before Christmas. That town felt wrong. Something just felt off. Idk if it was the baker cause that place creeped me out just looking at it but it was weird.
I'm intrigued. Is there a lot of bad history of the town? I mean I can understand houses being haunted but a whole town? I'm very interested to know why that is.
@@ashleywilliams3731 couldn’t tell you. Just a feeling.
@@billy-sx8wx I want to go visit just for that. I'm just doing a lot of research on it because one of my Coworkers just stayed at the Haunted Hill House this past weekend and she was telling us everything she experienced there and it just sparked my curiosity, so now I'm trying to go down the rabbit hole of The history of mineral wells and the house it's self. I'm only an hour away from it so it's also close by. I'm not brave enough to stay over night there, but man, I'm into the paranormal and wish I had the courage to do it.
I went to highschool 3 miles down from that overlook...and in my freshman year in 2013 we went into lockdown because some guy locked his wife and daughter in the trunk of his car and was in a high speed chase heading towards the school....he ended up driving through that fence and killing everyone... directly across the street my dad ownes 24 acres that was a break off of the ranch bert wall owned....he would nail a boot on trees he saw ghosts and many still remain
I'm here rn for baseball😬😬
My Tia told me that she saw a swing set moving by itself and heard a little girl giggling
A tia ?
They need to tear that building down. It is a health risk where kids could get hurt. The owner is given X amount of years to have the property remodeled and brought back to code. If Yoakum had a law such as "Neighborhood Protection" that would require vacant structure over X number of years vacant or in disarray will be torn down at owner's expense. The owner could donate the property to the city in which it would be torn down and a park would be built in it's place.
Momma moved my three siblings and I to Gatesville in1979.
Idk why anyone would want to live in mineral wells
