For a Midi sound track for a game in the day, this was out there!! Very well composed and arranged as was the game itself and as well one of my all time favorites!
I never took the time to record tracks from Heretic with Arachno SoundFont, although I've been wanting to do so for a long time. So, many thanks for sharing the complete OST! Now, I really think I should add this among the existing Arachno SoundFont Game Music packs on my website ;)
Если знать тактику, то эта задача упрощается. В самом начале нужно взять кольцо бессмертия и книгу усиления, потом по максимуму жечь змея с дедом огнём из феникса пока не закончится действие кольца и книги. Ну а потом сверкая пятками наворачивать круги, уходя от массовых атак дисайплов, которые в итоге будут прилетать деду)))
@@AlexUnderViD Тактика очень проста: держи дистанцию и бей всем подряд )) Дед вообще достаточно безобидный, пока колдунов не начинает плодить. Если он успеет наплодить их пару-тройку десятков, могут возникнуть проблемы.
@@СергейАлопин-е7х дык в том то и дело, что львиную долю ХП ему можно выжечь фениксом, НО у него в любом случае остается еще куча ХП и он по любому наспамит тыщу дисайплов)))
This is the Adlib / opl2 version, Sound Blaster, it gives that touch of Atmospheric Terror at the Dungeons level, the music in my childhood made me very afraid of this game ...
@@daveyh444 Try this soundfont with FluidSynth www.mediafire.com/file/er4klqrtv98joa6/SplicedWeedsGM4.sf2 I found that with Arachno sound font some instruments get drowned out by others in some midis. The one I linked is WeedsGM4 with some instruments replaced by their Roland SC-55 counterparts for better sounding.

Arachnosoft - Maxime Abbey i tested around 10 soundfonts, and this is pretty much the best for games, been using it for more than a year now
It would be really nice if you could make a downloadable pack for this one, I've been looking for a good Heretic OST pack for quite a time now.

Ох и тяжело же было завалить финального деда с клавиатуры на 5-м уровне сложности!

@@AlexUnderViD Когда я перешел на игру с мышкой, дед помирал. не успев позавтракать. А вот по-трактористски - с клавиатуры - это был подвигЪ! ))

why was the intro music halfway through the tracks? :/
For some reason, E1M2 never really sounds right unless it's on an oldschool Sound Blaster.

Same with E1M5 and the intro music from this game and Doom 2, The bassline seems to overpower the rest of it
