I hope to do the same as you in a few years once the kids have flown the nest and you have shown it is possible for a solo female traveller. I noticed some critical comments from posters about the recent video regarding safety. You gain experience by doing and learn from your mistakes. How else do they think people become experienced at anything! You are a very brave woman and not afraid to put the full story of ups and downs on your travels out there, not just a polished youtube version.

I am enjoying my adventures so much and I know you will too. You have amazing highs and crushing lows but high or low as you say you’re making lasting magic memories. 😃
In Chiang Mai now (Thurs 11th) and the afternoons and early evenings have been almost unbearable if you are outside for any length of time. Rain last night and a drop in temps but still hot. I'm back to the UK next Wednesday, after Songkhran, so will notice the difference. Thanks for the vdo's, giving me ideas for destinations to visit when I make CNX my base (hopefully) in the autumn. Watching with interest.
I will definitely be heading back to Chiang Mai at some point as I have friends there. I'm also really looking forward to a sunday roast at Annies!!!! 😁
I’m here in Cha Am/Hua Hin at the moment, I wouldn’t worry about the temperature here, if your on the coast or on one of the islands, it’s really ok, here we get a lovely sea breeze and it’s fine imo. Yes Bangkok and anywhere inland is much hotter! I would advise to always have an alternative source for money, I have a normal bank account, a credit card with another company and Wise, which is great for transferring funds when traveling!
Glad u only had one bad moment and one hater ! Seems to be more cheerful on this sum up. Maybe u are back in Langkawi u obviously love and we met. Hope u do Vietnam which is safe and really nice with many to experience. We particularly love Phu Quoc that is similar to Langkawi.
I’m definitely going back to Vietnam as last year I only got 15days so only managed the north. I will take a look at Phu Quoc and visit if I have time. 🥰

@@nanwithabackpack Check before you go. The North of Thailand is badly polluted with smoke from fires and possible that Vietnam is affected also.
