I won’t tell you it’s all sunshine and rainbows 24-7 but the good times definitely out weigh the bad by far. Binge watching all your videos!!! So many questions….how do you find accommodation? Recommendations or the internet? Which country do you believe is better value Malaysia 🇲🇾 or Philippines 🇵🇭 ? Which country todo you recommend for beach stay to get out of nz winter 🥶?? Keep the videos coming. - fantastic info !
Welcome so glad to have you join the adventure. Malaysia I would say is better value Langkawi is definitely cheaper as it’s tax free. For beaches I would say Thailand but I have heard the east coast of Malaysia has some beautiful beaches I have not been as yet so can’t comment. I find most of my accommodation through booking.com I also use hostel world and once or twice Agoda. Thailand is having a heat wave right now with very hot temperatures. I’m heading to Vietnam soon and by the looks of it it’s very hot there as well. Please ask any questions and I will try to answer for you. 🥰

I’ve heard that Japan is just the cheapest it’s ever been ..,,it’s beautiful - Kyoto. But yes, all very hot 🥵 A good friend loved Cambodia and Angkor wat - very affordable and lots of walking or cycling. Will you be I going to Cambodia ?

Glad to see you had a better experience leaving Indonesia than you had entering it in last video! What a nightmare 😮 out of interest were you asked for proof of onward travel ( out of Malaysia) when you arrived in KL? How strict are they about this?
Yes I had a truly wonderful time in KL thanks. 🥰 I have only once in all my travels been asked about onward travel, and even, the was not asked to show a ticket. But I have heard sometimes they do check. I would probably take the chance but have and idea on a possible flight and book last minute if needed? But that's just me and you have seen I do sometimes get myself in a pickle!!!! If you are worried maybe book a flight and pay a little extra so you can change dates if you need to? 🤷♀️
Good to know thanks…sounds like it could be hit or miss! I think I might take a chance too😊after KL I hope to make my way up to Langkawi and eventually catch the ferry on to Koh Lipe. I got that idea from you on your previous trip!! Hope everything is going well for you

I was there from 4th to 9th March. The weather was hot 🥵 and humid!!!! I had a small sun/rain umbrella and it’s probably one of my most used items. I got mine from amazon but you can buy them in KL and Langkawi. I would not be without mine. Also drink plenty of water I brought some Berocca and every other day drop one in a bottle of water. Just to make sure I’m keeping hydrated. I would also suggest starting out early resting during the midday sun or heading to an indoor shopping mall and then heading back out later in the day. Have a wonderful time. 🥰
Dear Nan, you have a very good travel video content on your channel, your video is so engaging. But ,as we see you don't have much more views/ engagement. You need to optimize your channel/ fix your problems.
That’s very kind of you but I don’t have enough money to pay anyone to make my videos and also if somebody else makes them they will no longer be making mine. Right now I’m doing the vlogs manly for my children and grandchildren. They all love nanny traveling and making videos ❤️

The pod hostel in KL was about £13 per night. I’m a level 3 member on booking.com so do get discounts. 😁
