I had my Tooth Removed from a Chiang Mai Dentist [Let's Catch Up]
Travelling light is always the way to go. As for charging up things, switching to one of the newer gan chargers (65-67W - there are some great ones out there) which are 1/4 the size of the apple charger, 2 usbc to usbc cables and a couple of USBc to lightning / usba / micro adapters will charge everything including apple laptops and eliminate the heavy apple charger and other chargers for phones and headphones.
Well done nan, you will definitely be travelling with just a handbag soon :-) I had travelled with too much stuff many years ago and that one experience has made me travel now with just one small 20litre backpack (and it's half empty most of the time )... Another great vid :-)
No one ever wins a prize for having the heaviest bag😅 I used to carry a camping towel but found my sarong works well in a pinch and dries in minutes. On a similar note I've found tri-blend shirts (nylon, cotton, rayon) are lightweight, don't wrinkle and dry overnight. More importantly, the cotton absorbs odors that most synthetics trap (thus the funk). In truth, when it comes to clothes, if you're good with washing two shirts and pants every other day you really only need three changes of clothes and no dry line. It takes all of five minutes and a little shampoo to do this so I add it to my nightly ritual and I'm good to go the next day. Of course, for your trip you'll want the swimming gear but you should have plenty of room left over for your mask, snorkel and swimmers. Loving your videos. Keep 'em going!
Would there be bus instead of tuk tuk please? Fascinating adventure. Will you start to learn the language
Thanknyou for honestly showing everything.. I live trains esp in India...also Dogu Express going east in Turkey ...found same issue re atm in Holbox Mexico! Trotted round and the 2 were busted ..finally got money changed at a bureau de change of sorts!

This may be my answer as will not even afford 1 rm on my pension in uk...❤
Sorry about the crazy music 🎶 😂
Glad you enjoyed it all...I dont trust small boats since was out in roughest water ever in Mex going to supposedly see shark whales every female got sick and i just wanted to get bavk.mthe boat shouldnt have gone out!! Anyhow it s all experience lol...amazing time you ve been having..I love light travel but sum winter packing is very hard..
I’m not good in boats thankfully it was only a very short distance. Yes it was a nice break 🥰
Loved the 4th condo, I'm in Cebu Philippines, but I may explore Cambodia, looks interesting.
@@colinkosky I didn’t make it the Cabu when I was in the Philippines. Hopefully I will definitely get to visit one day. You should visit Cambodia it’s a truly beautiful place 🇰🇭
Great video.
@@JWnFlorida thanks 🙏
Really cool. And great skills to present it all. Thanks. That place is a relaxed paradise, so anyone watching, go there now. Before it's gone.
Yes definitely I’m sure in years to come it will look completely different.
Wonderful video.

Wow definitely ruffing it
@@sparkygirl9083 the hill almost finished me off!!! But it was comfortable electricity would’ve been good 🤪

@@sparkygirl9083 it was so good. Maybe next time the water will be clearer. 😁
How great for you! The diving was actually clearer than I expected😳👏🏼👏🏼
@@brendataylor8388 I really enjoyed it and felt very safe with Tom

Lovely, simply Lovely. Thanks for sharing.
@@martinhall2704 yes I was so lucky 🍀 Tom was a wonderful dive buddy
The pepperfarms around Kampot are amazing, had a great time visiting them. Madagascar also has some of the best pepper in the world. Having been to Madagascar I can compare them! There’s quite a lot in common with Cambodia and Madagascar especially having very friendly people, but very poor countries! Both countries are unique in many ways!
Thank you for that I don’t know anything about Madagascar but I will definitely now look it up.
Wow 🎉
@@WORLDNEWSRUSSIA 🥰
I stayed in Kampot about 6 years ago, wow I hardly recognise it, so busy and a completely different vibe. I remember it as a sleepy little town with not to much to do other than a couple of pubs and a few good restaurants. I loved the pepperfarms and Boker mountain, great memories 😊
@@roygoad2870 I really didn’t have long enough there and hopefully will get the chance to return. Thank you for sharing your memories.
I wish I could dive x
@@LR1946 🥰
Great video.. informative and fun.
Thank you 🙏
Wonderful video.. very interesting places to see.
Yes it was beautiful
How about homes for sale?
As a foreigner in Cambodia, I don’t think you are allowed to buy a home? But I will have to check.
@nanwithabackpack if you purchase citizenship, you can. That's why I would be there as a home base. But with all the really cool places you are showing me.. it makes even more sense. Great videos and thank you for sharing.
@@JWnFlorida Oh ok I did not know that. Maybe I will look into it in the new year. I have been stuck in my room editing footage since I returned from my 13 day trip!!!! I have a couple more to finish and then I will take a week away from my laptop and rest my eyes over Christmas. Happy Holidays 🎄😁🥰
@nanwithabackpack I'm watching your videos backwards.. 🤪🤪🤣🤣 happy holidays.
Great video.. thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it 🤗
Hi Nan, may I know where you booked this tour! Would love to try this out very convenient!
I booked it in Chiang Mai there are lots of little tour places. If I remember it was across the road from the UN bar on the main street, but cant remember.
Not even basic information. The bus had a toilet or not?
Thank you for your comment I was sat at the back of the bus it was a day bus ride of 6 hours like I mentioned, we had comfort breaks that I filmed. Sorry you did not enjoy, my family and friends loved it, maybe another channel will be a better fit for you? Really appreciate your comment though. 🥰 Have a wonderful day 😁
And yet again. What a brilliant watch. You are onto it Nan.
@@mantarayal awwww you are so kind thank you 🙏
Thunder in Cambodia is crazy
@@xpokerxpoker8490 lol 😂 yes 👍 I jumped 3 feet out of my skin!!!! lol 😂
In Cambodia, and especially Koh Rong, can I get by with US dollars only or would I also need Cambodian riels?
@@Mai-hb8ij yes US Dollars are fine but expect to get change in riel.
I loved your underwater expedition!!👏x
@@penniedurell6934 thanks Pennie 🥰
You pose an excellent question: If a 13 liter bag works for 13 days why do you need anything larger? I've found that I can travel indefinitely on day bag which includes 5 changes of clothes a laptop, two phones and a second, ultra light-weight day bag that scrunches down to the size of a golf ball. Other than a rain shell and a few other bits and bobs what does anyone really need that they can't buy at their destination? Never having to worry about checking a bag (or even running out of overhead space) makes for stress free travel. Enjoy!
@@DavidEHarding when I headed out for the first time I thought I was traveling light!!! But I now look back on that and laugh as I had so much stuff. This really has been a learning curve from the start. When I can, I will definitely update my bags. Thank you for your comment. I really enjoyed reading.
@@nanwithabackpack Amazing isn't it, how little anyone really needs to enjoy travel (and life in general, for that matter! 🙂)? Have a wonderful adventure and keep producing your fun and lovely videos!
@ thank you 🙏
I wanna go thereeeeeee😅
It was so nice. I will definitely return.
this is amazing. how long stayed there and how much was the total cost?
Make sure you subscribe as I am working on a full cost breakdown of the whole trip. But it won’t be ready until after Christmas.
Looks like you had a great short break on the beautiful island. Sihanoukville reminded me of my short time there in late 1979. It's been a lot of changes since I left and hopefully I'll return to visit the city someday. Welcome back to SR🎉
It was nice to get home but the break was wonderful. Cambodia is such a beautiful country from the north to the south 🇰🇭❤️🇰🇭
We enjoyed the trip. 😊
