OMG I've seen this adorable woman on Pinterest for years and I FINALLY watched a video of her. She is so fun to watch, very informative and cute as hell!!!!
Honey, you could make me buy a hot dog and I don’t eat meat nor do I eat anything processed! I just have a Gramma crush on you! Friday I am FINALLY getting my hair cut like yours and I’m 74! Lolol 🌹
46 years and I had resigned myself to flat dull hair. Stumbled across this video and it has changed my hair game! (And inspired me to do the makeup to go along with it!) Thank you so much!!
This actually worked for my hair. Good to have a tutorial; watching my stylist work isn't enough education for me. We mortals need repetition to understand technique.
Just found you! You're adorable and so nice and helpful! I have long hair have never been very good with styling. Hope to learn from your videos. Love volume and never knew the mystery 😜new subbie! Mary Ellen
OMG you’re the girl from Pinterest that I pin all your hairstyles! I’m sooo happy that you created a RUclips channel! I feel that you’re the next « Rachel hair movement » where everyone wants your hair cut! Love love LOVE your style! 😍💇🏼♀️
You are so beautiful! I’m so glad I found you here! I’d love to follow you on Pinterest as well! Can’t wait to start trying these awesome techniques! 👍🤗💕
I love how you give every detail. You don’t edit and fast forward through parts of your video! I just turned 29 and have really thin hair from a thyroid disorder. I’ll definitely be watching more of your videos! 🖤
My hair also became very thin from a thyroid disorder. I try not to let it get me down so I use clip-in hair extension, not for length but for volume. I use the cheaper synthetic ones and nobody knows the difference.
M W Actually she doesn't! Thats one of the reasons she is so awesome! She knows what products to use and how to use them etc. I have thin hair and she has taught me well👍
Okay. It's a matter of perception. I've seen a lot of hair, and I've seen a lot of people who think their hair is thin, simply because it's thinner than their sister's, or their best friends, or some celebrity. But their hair is not thin, it's just normal. This gal has a LOT of hair. It's fine hair, but overall, it's no where near thin. Maybe it looks thin to you, maybe your hair looks thin to you, but trust me, those of us with hair like a three-year-old blonde child would love to have hair as thick as yours. I cut my hair into a long pixie recently, and being as my hair is naturally dark, you could see my scalp everywhere because I don't have enough hair to cover it. Before I cut it, my ponytail was the thickness of my pinky finger. THAT is thin hair. I'm now platinum blonde because it matches the color of my scalp and blends into i enough I don't look bald.
M W Yes I agree with you, I can even see in photographs where my hair was a little thicker, but now it's go no volume no matter what holy grail products I use. It's flat as a pancake. 😂 😂 😂
Get on the castor oil, it's the dogs bollox! I had alopecia from PCOS, hair thinned and patches all over, had to shave it ofg, castor oil was great in growing it back, chicked in other essential oils, took time but it regrew and thickened up.
I love how you don't keep anything to yourself and share every detail! I have thin hair, and very little, a few days ago I tried your blow-drying and it worked! Actually, the next day when I woke up I still had some volume! So thanks for sharing!!
I never would've though you had fine hair. For 30 years I have been experimenting with different products and styling for body and never could get it right. In all of my photos I am the girl with the eternal bad hair day. Thank you so much for sharing your skills. These videos are a blessing!
I just found you and I'm obsessed; you're adorable and I LOVE the hair (cut, color, styling.....all of it!) You have a new fan! Looking forward to watching more!
Awesome vid! Thanks for the tips girl! My blonde is very similar so I can’t wait to try! Remember the bigger the hair the closer to God! New subby!! 😉💕💋💁🏼♀️
Omg I’m getting amaZing old school Jen Aniston vibes! Loveeee the str8 blondy big hair look! Been rockin’ mine since ‘03! Love ya chick & ur advice is spot on!! xx! 💋😉👍🏻✌🏻💯💜🌸 💇
This video landed in my queue for some reason and I could not be happier. I never know how to describe what I want done to my hair, now I have screen shots. I received a gift certificate for an Aveda hair salon so I will buying some of your hair product recommendation. You are So beautiful and have a great personality. Thank you for this video and details. (Trying to watch and listen to you as hubby is snoring 😂😂😂💤💤💤)
3 things..... Can you do a video on how to do different kinds of zigzag parts? I agree with everyone who said you are absolutely beautiful Lastly, and I mean this in the nicest way possible, can u please reshoot this video, to make it quicker to the point, without going off subject? The video had too many sidetracks and made some people have to wait too long for the next step. Then u end up just holding a section of hair in your hand waiting for u to get back on track. Absolutely, no shade intended, because I do find u very pleasant 😄
I followed this tutorial today and my hair had volume all day! It looked so full and had the look of just getting a blowout! Loved it and thankful for your awesome tips!
SHUT THE FRONT DOOR. I have baby fine hair and can never get volume........ I was actually patting my hair down. Thank you for sharing your technique 😍😘 I'm forever greatful!!
Well I finally went & got my hair cut yesterday! I showed your picture & told my hair dresser to please make me look like this girl 👧LOL.. well of course that didn’t happen but I got your cut! Love ❤️ Tyou for such great 👍 tips. YOUR AWESOME 🙃
I haVE SUPER thin and straight hair. Do you think this is the best technique to try on my hair or is there something different that would help? Usually within 5 minutes after styling my hair it is flat and hanging. Also, where do you post your live videos? Thanks in advance.
When I back comb my hair breaks off so much. Once I tried this and I had broken ends that I had to smooth down everyday for like a year. I said I'd never back comb again because it was such a disaster but I want to try this style. Do you have any recommendations on how I can prevent that breakage?
Cristina L because extra long hair (past waist length) weighs a lot. This video is very informative but its not really relevant to long haired girls cause we won’t get that kind of lift and volume through out our hair. :)
I am growing out a longer pixie cut...had not found any new styles I liked until I found you!lol. Mine is still not quite long enough, but had my hairdresser give me a blunt cut today, and am on the road to your style!ha. You are so fun and cute! I am probably old enough to be your Mom...in fact I know I am...he he...but adore your style! Thanks for sharing!!
I really like your style! My hair is so fine so I can't do the backcombing because it causes so much damage. I'll just have to be happy with my natural blonde hair, a great cut and the fortune I'm saving on products and coloring!
Free2016 try watching her Voloom video. No backcombing, and some great products that maintain the volume. The Aveda powder she uses at the end is like magic!
Just came across your videos a couple of days ago when trying to do a simple messy bun. SO glad I did!! Lol. Where do I watch your live videos, Facebook? I’d like to be able to ask questions too 😅 Love the videos! Love your personality! Totally wish you were in Kentucky 😂
What do I do for dirty blonde hair if I deep condition too much it looks dark and dull, and if I dont condition enough it gets brittle and dry but light blonde color.
She’s totally right about Aveda Air Control Hair Spray. There’s really something about it... I bought it after watching Harmonize Beauty’s vids and thought it may be comparable to my current hair spray and I was totally shocked at the difference.
I bought the products you use and my gawd, they literally gummed up my hair every time. I hated them all except for air control. The rest of the aveda was awful. Left my hair coated and heavy and felt like I sprayed a combo of oil and powder into my roots. Worst experience ever. Why????? I used the Volumizing tonic and the thickening tonic in the same place and manner you did as our hair type is very similar.
When I first started using the products I bought all the things that Harmony recommended. At first, I too struggled a little bit but I kept at it until I got used to it. I've also got a new hairstyle so at times I stand there and think, now what? I've learned how much to use and I got it down what to use together and what I sometimes can use by itself. Give it time. I hope this helps. P.S. I also noticed that when I wash my hair I can feel a lot of product coming out. When I wash my hair I really spend a couple minutes rubbing in the shampoo. I do the same with the conditioner but I leave it on while I take the rest of my shower. I've been very happy with the results of my hair.
But your own roots are very dark ... and obviously upkeep is not the issue ... nor is the issue for the man "movie stars" who maintain dark roots with very blonde hair.
My hair is to my waist. I've been thinking about cutting it. If I do, I would like it to be cut like yours. It's a great cut and you are so cute. Love your tutorials !!!
Thank you so much!! I can’t ever get big hair without it looking ridiculous. Can’t wait to try your techniques! I’m not going to lie though... you are so incredibly beautiful and sweet it was hard to focus. I was like “How is she so pretty?! Oh wait.. *rewinds*” 2 minutes later- “How is she so pretty?!”
Her highlights are at least a level 10. You could use a neutral or ash/violet toned color in level 8 or 9, and then use a higher volume developer- 30 or 40 vol. So long as you are just doing your roots and they are virgin, you can get a few levels of lift without needing to use bleach. Do your roots, and then in the last 5 or so minutes, carefully comb it down a few inches into your grown-out hightlights, and then watch it very closely! It'll give you a nice shadow-root/ombre look that will give you another month or two before you need to get your highlights touched up.
Infinite Worlds yes! This is what I want! My highlights are about level 10 and base supposedly level 6 ( pulls a lot of red!) I currently bump the base with 20 developer and goldwell 10p which is what my stylist uses on my base and to tone the highlights but it doesn't cover my greys and I want it a hair lighter. My stylist instructed me to apply the 20 vol + goldwell 10p on wet hair for 6 minutes, any longer it goes orange. I wonder how it will be different if I put a level 8 on dry hair or if I should do it wet also.... I may try box dye..kinda scared 😂
Healthandbeautygirl don’t try box dye for lifting your roots! It can go bad very quickly! I’ve done it before I became licensed cosmetologist and it’s a nightmare! For you and for your stylist to fix it. I use mostly a Wella color and a good formula to lift you from a level 6 to an 8 is their Koleston Perfect line: 8/2 with 30 volume. The /2 is soft green, so it doesn’t get funky but it controls a LOT of warmth!
Contradiction, she shampoos and conditions and onto of it she *deep conditions* that's the contradiction. Then she makes it more healthy by doing an extra step.
I LOVE this video it has REALLY helped me have MORE GREAT hair days. You are so beautiful! And LOVE your hair. However, My hair is really thin, so do I take big chunks like you or smaller chunks? I find it hard to avoid the bumps in the hair because it's so thin. Thoughts?
Harmony.... you have taught me so much about hair and make-up. I am 55+ and I needed some tips and tricks for my tired old makeup routine. I have started using the Maskcara makeup because of you have inspired me with your tutorials. Thanks again! I appreciate you!💗

Kinda easy to get big straight hair when you start with big straight hair 😳🙄
Yeah, that's my thought too. Her head is absolutely CRAMMED FULL of hair. I'd love to have even a quarter of that hair!
M W Actually she doesn't! Thats one of the reasons she is so awesome! She knows what products to use and how to use them etc. I have thin hair and she has taught me well👍

Crimpers or wavers? Thickness\length

Stephanie Stark I missed the part showing how she wraps her hair on top darn!
I would like your honest, professional opinion.. do you think this hair cut would look on someone with thin hair?
Yes! It is a great cut for thin hair. My mom has the same cut and has very thin hair. The blunt cut gives the appearance of thicker hair.
Oh my goodness love your hair so jealous
I have seen her picture on Pinterest for years when I'm looking at haircuts!
my god she is beautiful!
So much trouble time and money. Why bother? U would look fine with 1 in. Of hair.

Why are dark roots so popular? I understand having shading, but really don't like the look of dark roots
I am not sure, however upkeep is probably why;)
But your own roots are very dark ... and obviously upkeep is not the issue ... nor is the issue for the man "movie stars" who maintain dark roots with very blonde hair.

hoping to find a video on how you lighten base to level 8 so I can try this between highlights. Not sure of your natural colour though.

What teasing comb is this?!
Omg! I love you! This is the best hair video I've seen like this! So easy but with amazing results.
So happy it is helpful!
Finally! Someone who knows how to style hair! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Your videos are so helpful.
Doesn't applying heat to hairsprayed hair cause breakage?
Contradiction, she shampoos and conditions and onto of it she *deep conditions* that's the contradiction. Then she makes it more healthy by doing an extra step.
I only use Aveda products on my hair. Pricy but worth it.
