I know this is 5 years old, but I just found it today and I'd like to say THANK YOU!
It's exactly what I was looking for. All other tutorials only create the illusion of volume by curling hair, while I wanted to keep it straight and just get it to be bigger when side-parting it so that it does not look like a bad cowlick.

I just cut off most of my hair (well not myself but you know:) and it signifies me being sober. I had to cut off the past and start over:) and i truly thank you for the video. OMG! I found you!!! I saw this picture of you (with this exact hairstyle) on pinterest (I thought it was some model from a magazine or a photo-shoot), I literally fell in love with it, saved the picture and sent it to my hairstylist! Had to Stop back by to say. Wow, thank you. I have long, layered hair and it seems it's gotten flat and looking quite thin lately. After doing your technique I had lots of hair. My hair looked like these models you see with long layered curls & lots of body. :-) I woke today today to not a flattened bed head mess but hair that needed some dry shampoo, a few new twists with my flat iron & out the door I went. Stopped at the grocery store by 2 girls, "You look amazing today!" Hubby thinks I went to a salon. I can't wait to see more or your videos..Glad I subscribed.

I could've written this post myself. I had the same issue with my long layered hair that started to go flat, now my hair looks amazingly full and so much better! I love waking up the next day and it still looks great with just a few tweaks. Harmony, I made my hair stylist watch your blow drying and back combing videos and now she does my hair like you do yours. Thanks so much for making this rapidly aging woman feel beautiful again.
