YES!!! So glad to find a stylist that will actually tease and show how to volumize the hair roots. Every time I go to the salon and tell them I really want volume at the crown I get nothing. I will be sharing this with my sis cuz we both want the volume and big hair.

OMG THANK. YOU. SO. MUCH!!! Out of all the youtubers, you are the only person who has been able to explain this thoroughly especially when it comes to the placement of the curling iron to get various looks such as volume or just framing the face!!! And I now understand that you need to start from the roots and not the ends!!!! This explains why my curls never lasted!

Ms. Harmony, I stumbled across your videos the other day and in one of them you suggested a tangle teezer brush. My daughter is special needs with long beautiful blond hair that she " hates" to have brushed daily. It's a nightmare really. With her disabilities it makes her sensitive to every hair being tugged on her head. She is 7 and I have a drawer of tangle products and brushes . Some only used once! I ordered that brush you mentioned because " hey? What's 1 more brush when you have 40, right?" Harmony, that brush has worked for my daughters hair perfectly. No crying or fussing and I'm amazed and grateful for your suggestion. Thank you , have a beautiful day . Be well.😊

30 years ago I used to spend all this time doing things to my hair. While on a buying trip during the 90's I remember one of our buyers ridiculing another buyer for taking so long because she had to curl her hair. This was during the time when "Friends" was on TV and curled hair was no longer the thing. I thought for sure no one would ever be caught using a curling iron again. I'm over 50 now and retired. My hair has gone through many changes, colors, thinning and I find wearing wigs to be much easier than all this fuss. I often wondered how young ladies did this curl with the straight ends- it's so fresh and edgy and the final look (to me) is one of a tossed but collected bed head - adorable. (please don't take offense to my description). Thank you for this video and sharing your technique - I may just have another go at curling tools. I just discovered your videos and subscribed. You are so fun to watch.

You are the most adorable human on RUclips holy moly. Thank you for your videos, they have helped a lot for those of us who have no idea what we are doing with hair (and have been curling hair upside down for 22 years)! Looooooovvvveeee the hair style. Your video with the bed head beach waver inspired me, so I got it for Christmas. My hair is a chin length stacked Bob, naturally straight hair. What do you suggest I can use to help my hair keep the wave or curl to last, my hair tends to loose any curl after 30 mins & something to give it texture. Keep the awesome videos coming.
