When doing this style with the straightener i have thick hair that doesnt really hold a curl. The curl usually stays in for about 5 mins. Do u have any tips that can help me?

Thx Dominique great tips and since I have cut my hair short again gives me other ways to style it. I have also gotten rid of my highlights and gone dark for fall...A very dark brunette with a few lowlights. A new me for fall & winter 😊❣️
Love your videos, they are always so informative!! I would love to get this look, my issue is I have longer heavy hair that curls just fall right out of even if I add product. Any help for getting the style to hold would be greatly appreciated.

Did this yesterday. Much easier than the vertical beach wave technique. Went out Saturday night and got tons of compliments! Thank you for the new technique. Ooh, also, today at the nail salon, the owner had long wavy hair, with a beautiful hair clip holding her hair back to one side. I'm IN!

So fashionable, love it. My hair was down my back about half way to waist I took the plunge last week and went to my stylist and had my hair cut off into a very short pixie on sides (over ears) and lower back. He left the top and crown quite a bit longer, reminds me of your hairstyle when it was much shorter. So far, I love it. But i almost cried watching this video. I realized all the clips and decorative tools I can't use now. BUT, I made the choice and so far, I've really enjoyed styling it. Since it's longer on top, I bought a BaBliss Mini Flat Iron and it's amazing what I can do with it. Today I was totally curled on top and crown - and blended it into the very short using wax. I didn't brush it, everything was done with my fingers. I received a lot of compliments, so that made me happy. Just letting you know, I bought several of the WOW products and I'm in love with them. Expensive, but as short as my hair is it should last me a loooong time! lol Take care and be SAFE Dominique. What temperature would be a medium setting? I have a Lange flat iron (love it) and it has a temperature-driven setting.
