The fact that I enjoyed “The Problem Solverz” so much when I was younger amazes me. It’s nostalgic in a way but like in a sense of when you burn toast and still want to eat it.
the problem solverz hate I never understood. I love the work of Paper Rad and honestly looking back it’s crazy they were able to get a show that looks that weird on CN lmao
I remember the Foster's Home promos specifically because they showed during commercial breaks while I watched a CN showing of The Iron Giant (my first time ever seeing it). I remember Coco's promo very vividly, as her design stuck out with how strange yet interesting she looked. It's weird that it's lost media now
Hey I wonder if I've got those promos. I've got a VHS recording when they aired the iron giant on cartoon network that day. Well,my parents had did it to save it for us,but I'll have to look through it.
I've probably seen every episode of the Problem Solverz, just because it was the last show on before Adult Swim would start for the night. I got a "bad vibe" from the show - it kinda freaked me out, seemed off, etc for reasons I can't really explain (creepy character designs maybe). I'm morbidly fascinated. That being said, I hope they find the lost media. Nothing deserves to be lost forever.
I agree, nothing deserves to be lost! (unless of course it’s something so bad that no one wants it to be found, because then I suppose it’s ok in that case)
OML!! I'm SO GLAD that a lost media channel FINALLY brings up Ben Jones' much older stuff!!! After I got hyperfixated on tPS last year, I've met a very few fans of Ben Jones that been trying hard to find his lost older work (which got me into learning the lore, older other characters of Ben's, & his other work he did apart of Paper Rad). Huge thanks! 🖤
I'm also a big paper rad and ben Jones fan. It sucks that Paper Rad and Ben Jones' stuff is so scarce. I'm glad stuff like Star Kings is available though.
@@johncrawfish5383 I really love finding fans of his stuff/Paper Rad! I just keep assuming there's very little that like their work due to the amount of colors/patterns & the surrealism (esp now since that stuff is from the 90s - mid 2000s It's really disappointing that the zines/comics r lost since the ones found shows that there's so much thought put into them &, as I said, lore
I honestly think problem solverz wouldn’t have been so bad if it weren’t for the colors. The character design isn’t my thing, but it’s unique enough to have charm. The biggest problem is the eye strain. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone had a seizure because of it.
Even if I love the show I still wish the colors of the earlier episodes(the eyestrain was dropped in Season 2, some backgrounds are even completely grayscale) weren’t as bright so more people would know it for the story instead of the art style
Actually season 2 of Secret Mountain Fort Awesome has been found as a user on the LMW forums posted a Google Drive link containing every episode of season 2 on that exact same thread you showed in the screenshot(BTW I'm the user you screenshotted who had plans to download the show from TVV myself, thankfully someone else beat me to the punch so I didn't have to lower my ratio) apparently friend of his had downloaded the entire series from iTunes back when it was still being sold on there. So you can mark that one as being found.
I'm glad someone managed to get them. Not even my most frequent not legal site doesn't have any episodes beyond the first season, and I've been searching for the Labyrinth parody episode ever since I saw it quite some time ago.
BRUHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING RESPECT TO PROBLEM SOLVERZ I LOVE PROBLEM SOLVERZ SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA Also I did my part in preserving the Flash comic "Welcome to MB" before Flash shut down, it's still up on my DeviantArt
Hey LSSQ, there's this really interesting piece of Lost Media called "You Gotta Walk it Like you Talk it (Or you'll Lose that Beat)" from 1971, directed by Peter Locke. It's a comedy film that is said to be terrible, but what's interesting is Walter Becker and Donald Fagen, who would only one year later form Steely Dan, composed and performed the soundtrack for the film. The soundtrack is readily available, but the film is super obscure and completely lost. It's also known that Robert Downey Sr., Robert Downey Jr.'s father, worked on the film, and then-virtually unknown Richard Pryor played his "Wino" character for one of the first times, which later that year would become one of his notable comedy sketches. Peter Locke hasn't completely ruled out a release yet, but he isn't eager to release it, so our only hope is to find a film reel somewhere and dump that. While the film is supposedly really bad, I'd love to see it get found. I know you don't really lost movies, especially from the 70s, but I'd love someone to shine a light on this eventually! There's virtually no standalone videos talking about it, besides my own I'm currently working on. So please talk about this!
@@TheRealGaucelm oh my God! That’s so cool that you’re here! What a cool coincidence! Can you please share me more information for my video? I would love to have more info. Also, was the thing about the movie airing on the Pluto TV 70s movie channel ever on the page? Because I remember it being there a couple weeks to a month ago. Was it removed for being false? Because I’ll add that the Pluto TV airing wasn’t real in my video if it actually real.
I’ve been looking for this for awhile now, there’s very little online at the moment. Donald Fagen probably would NOT have a copy and would probably NOT want to be asked about it though, so.
Only 2 minutes in, but I had a memory from my childhood and I feel this may be lost media in a sense. Back in 2004-2005, Cartoon Network had an online contest/promotion going on where while watching shows on Australia's Foxtel, you could hit the red button and answer trivia and get points for your 'Eye-D' card, with them used to get goody bags or something. Various cartoon network characters were used for these Eye-D cards, with the one I received having a giant eyeball with it showing the reflections of Bloo (from fosters Home), Mandy (from Grim Adventures), and No. 4 (from KnD). My cards become quite scratched over the years, however I cannot find many images of these online, and feel that while physical, they may count as Lost Media due to their designs being unique.
Thank you for talking about the alfe zines, and my friend’s post about the lost content! We’re really interested in seeing more of the old Ben stuff, and especially the flash animations and zines. It’s been a journey discovering old paperrad zines and having to put together the overarching stories using context clues and a lot of guessing. There’s quite a lot in them that never gets talked about, and I personally really enjoy the stories Ben would write for his characters before they ever got a CN show. The show has a special place in my heart, but the zines are important to me in a different way. They contain the perfect blend of sweet and strange that I wish to accomplish in my own work someday.
I remember the Foster's promos!! I can't believe almost none of them were uploaded... the one for Mac I remember was, "Who's the kid". I think for Wilt it was, "Who's the tall guy", Eduardo was, "Who's the Monster" and I think Coco was "Who's the Bird". I've always checked the website to find out more on the Foster's show. Good times.
Dang, I remember both the character creator contest and the big awesome house party games for foster home so vividly. They’re something I haven’t thought about since they were still active. I wish they were found, especially the game, I can remember having so much fun with it. Great video as ways and keep it up!
I remember watching Uncle Gus way back when it premiered as a kid. Had no idea it became lost media. Shame I was too young to know how to record (or too young to appreciate the value of media in general) the show.
I LOVED watching Secret Mountain Fort Awesome along with The Problem Solverz back in the day. I don't care if those shows weren't liked by many, I had tons of enjoyment with them!
I remember those fosters home promos! That Blue walking around one hit me like a bus! I don’t think I remember the others, except Cocos. I swear I think hers was her brushing her teeth in the bathroom in the background, looking in the mirror leaving the water running. But I know we see her brush her teeth in another episode or two too and maybe I’m remembering that. Coco convinced me to swallow the toothpaste in my mouth as a kid, so I think that’s why I remember hers. If it’s the case.
Back in 2016, the final, (Season 5), episode of “The Garfield Show”, Rodent Rebellion aired on Boomerang, I personally haven’t seen it live, but they, Boomerang, have not reaired it, put it on Netflix, or put it on home media, but it was uploaded to RUclips by a user by the name of, “Vincells” in June 2021, but in Standard Definition, with some audio issues. It’s HD Verison is lost media, considering that Boomerang never reaired it. When I first heard of the episode, I didn’t know it was lost media. The lost media wiki says it’s “found” but, only the SD version, with audio issues. I hope that one day, the lost media community can find the HD, English dub, best version of Rodent Rebellion. 2023 edit: HD Found
2:10 whaaaat! I can't believe that's lost! I remember submitting a drawing for that contest; Foster's was one of my favorites Problem Solvers was always gross/annoying to me, and I thought the art was atrocious. But to each their own, lol. I'm kinda not surprised that there's lost media for it though, since it wasn't very popular.
I remember the contest too! I don't know if I ever submitted but I do recall making an OC for it who was basically a white person shaped blob of paint that could paint with her hair and she changed color with her emotions. Like I only made her because of the contest
I really enjoyed Destroy Rebuild Destroy, despite hating they were starting to show live action shows. It really doesn’t surprise me to hear nobody cared enough to archive a lot of them though.
Dude I loved growing up watching Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network in the late 90s-early to mid 2000s. And all of boomerang at that time. Used to watch angry beavers with my dad all the time it was his favorite show. RIP dad. Thanks for the cool videos and unlocking the cool memories man love your videos
I really don't see why people would be on the hunt for those other Subway commercials even though they don't have anything remotely interesting in them, such as exclusive animation. My point being is that the PPG commercial just used a bunch of scenes from the intro and no exclusive animation, which is most likely what these other commercials were.
I remember finding this Invader Zim cult like website where it had some very professional well made fan game parodies of Invader Zim. Some were a run and gun shooter parody of Alien Hominid with Invader Zim characters. Another one being a parody of Pac-Man with Invader Zim setting, another one that was Donkey Kong but with Invader Zim coat of paint. I think there may have been more of them but I can't for the life of me remember the website as that is long gone now. If anyone knows what I am talking about? Tell me if I am not crazy!
Considering that RSD Game-Maker, Hoyt'n Andy's Sportsbender, the HeartBeat Catalyst peripheral for the Sega Genesis & the 1991 Saturday morning cartoon Space Cats exist, such a fansite existing isn't really that surprising.
@@ExtremeWreck True. I'd be shocked if it's on the Wayback Machine. Back then lots of fan sites were saved on that website and if it's not? It's lost to history
That first one is a blast of nostalgia, I vividly remember the commercials starring Wilt and Eduardo, and probably would've went my whole life long without thinking of them if I didn't watch this
The only ones I ever saw were of Bloo and Eduardo. I remember Eduardo's one featured him getting scared and running back and forth. I didn't catch how the narrator described him, though.
That CN crossover commercial, Foster's Home, and Powerpuff Girls commercials are the most nostalgic in this vid. I had also had no idea The Powerpuff Girls had Subway action figures lol.
I remember watching all 5 of those. As LSuperSonicQ mentioned, Bloo was shown first and probably the longest. Mac, Wilt, Eduardo, and Coco then followed. Mac just showed him walking I believe in the opposite direction of Bloo but nothing special, Wilt jumped a couple times I believe he was trying to look over the wall. Eduardo got scared and ran back and forth several times. Coco also ran around giving her call while the narrator was dumbfounded. Coco eventually stopped and laid a plastic egg.
I loved The Problem Solvers as a kid. I remember playing a flash game based on one of the episodes on the Cartoon Network website. I wonder if it's still kicking around, or if it existed in the first place. I could just be misremembering Update: Still playable via the Internet archive using Cent Browser
Yup they had a flash game called Tomb Of Nefertiti, it’s almost impossible to play now, but I haven’t checked flashpoint yet to see if they have it. Gameplay videos still exist on RUclips though.
Thanks for showcasing my thread! I wasn’t sure if any of the secret mountain fort awesome episodes from season 2 would resurface but we finally have them! Thanks for the exposure on the topic and everything you do for the lost media community!
My perspective on Problem Solverz changed somewhat after watching Quasi at the Quackadero, a crazy 1975 animated short that I’m absolutely sure inspired the show’s visual style, but I still can’t get behind the random XD humor and the writing feeling like it was made up on the spot by stoners who hate kids Nevertheless I hope the missing episodes are found
It definitely feels like it would have fit far better on adult swim rather than Cartoon Network. It’s experimental in a way that just wouldn’t mesh with a child audience and those stricter writing rules.
Seeing as Lincoln Peirce is the author/Illustrator of Big Nate, there's probably some people in the online comic community that can be contacted about the uncle gus media.
the liking Problem solvers and Secret mountain part reminds me of quote from someone I admire. "It's not about right and wrong, it's about having less then shit taste" - Woolie Maden ~ WoolieVS
Just a bit of context for the Foster’s promos - There was no narrator. They just did their actions in silence, set against the backdrop of, say, Wilt doing laundry or Eduardo at the grocery stores.
CN Real. I remember watching Dude, What Would Happen with my sister while specifically eating a late meal from Sonic. That was the day Adventure Time officially came out, too. Damn.
Actually this wasn’t lost just forgotten. The lucky winner submitted their imaginary friend and had it featured on the show. They had a specific episode dedicated to this new friend which did not appear in any other episodes. These promos have been online for years but have been removed due to copyright. I used to rewatch these when I turned 14 in 2014. They aren’t lost but RUclips’s copy right system goes against the uploaders. Sorry to sound curt I wasn’t trying to.
i have fond memories of secret mountain fort awesome and problem solverz, my brother and i used to watch both of them all the time when we were younger. we knew the art style was weird and the colors were intense and harsh, but we loved it nonetheless.
Sorry I didn't actually WATCH until now but thanks for shouting out me dude. I'm so glad to see the topic finally covered. I did make a post about it a while ago on r/lostmedia but also a mention in a video. Here's hoping this gives it the kick it needs.
I also remember that charter design contest! There was a design your own character tool on CN website and you could email it over to CN when you were completed with it. I made probably 20-30 designs hoping mine would end up on the show. I remember one day before school blue came on a commercial to announce the winner. To my disappointment it wasn’t mine. In fact the winning design was pretty much a slightly altered version of blue himself! I remember this cause blue himself said “that’s one good looking imaginary friend you got there”. I think that was the end of it. The design didn’t end up in the show, just that commercial.
I actually remember liking The Othersiders a whole lot back when this was airing. Specifically due to me having such a major interest in the supernatural back then and still do to this day... All the while having a major fear of some ghost girls like the one from The Grudge but that's besides the point.😅 It's kinda crazy that I forgot about this show and Level Up being a part of that CN Real block but I'm glad you reminded me of it. Hopefully someone would be willing to preserve those shows for the sake of preservation.
You dug up a trove of buried memories when you mentioned “The Othersiders.” Shit used to scare me as a kid. Looking back now, definitely was tame. I still remember them airing Goosebumps around the Halloween season
@@zippolighter4903 I’ve seen a few ghost hunting shows like it and I was never scared of any of them. If anything, they intrigued me more of the prospect of ghost hunting myself and exploring potentially hunted areas as well.
@@keijijohnson9754 Definitely those shows aren't by any means terrifying. You all know they're going to make it out alive and well for the cameras Ghost hunting on your own though? That's a whole completely different story. Not exactly ghost hunting, but I've had thoughts of exploring abandoned buildings and sites
I get how you feel about SMFA and Problem Solverz. Well, I actually haven't watched those, *but* a cartoon I really liked got the same fate of being deemed too "cringe" by the "cool kids" (aka cartoon critics on the internet, also, emphasis on the quotes), and thus got cancelled early on as well.
I remember watching CN Real when i was young. It haven't had its own block in Hungary and it was just bumped into the other cartoons. It had shows like a spy family sitcom, it had Sarah Jane which was a Doctor Who spinoff and had a dance teaching show where the cartoon characters randomly appeared.
I had the Paper Rad DVD once, but who knows what happened to it. Someone might have stolen it from me. I still have the Cartoon Workshop/Pig Tales double-sided comic. I was a HUGE Paper Rad fan, and I'm really excited to see how far Ben Jones has come as a creator.
I was watching some of your videos after I found you again on my recommended. And then I find you uploaded some minutes ago. Today do be looking like a good day
also, Track Rats did air. There is a few schedules I found from 2010 which have it on a 6:58 timeslot. It seems that it's another 2 minute segment show like hotdog TV.
The episodes of Secret Mountain Fort Awesome were on Netflix US around 2014. I watched it around when Uncle Grandpa started airing for that episode, and the episode that had the nerd character from the Uncle Grandpa pilot.
The first memory I have of Foster's is a promo where Wilt talks directly to the audience. I can't find that one either. I also remember my brothers and I playing Big Fat Awesome House Party. We had to make a new account each time, cause even when we wrote down our usernames and passwords, they didn't work. My brother did finish the game, which involved the imaginary friend you create for the game helping Bloo find some dirt on Mr. Herriman. While looking around, you find a file on Wilt that reveals he doesn't have a creator. This was before Good Wilt Hunting premiered so that was a nice little teaser. The game ended with Mr. Herriman getting arrested by the fashion police for not changing his clothes for decades. At least that's what I remember.
I remember those foster promos very well! Mac walks by and the narrator says “Who is that kid”? Wilts walks by and the narrator goes “That guys really tall” Coco walks by and that narrator says “That’s one coco bird” And Edward walks by saying “That’s one fuzzy guy” or something to that extent
I remember the day cartoon network became CN real. That day my sister and I were turning on the TV to watch cartoon network and we seen they changed it. We both asked what the hell they were even airing? Needless to say,we were totally upset.
One piece of Cartoon Network lost media I've never heard anyone talk about was the "uncensored" version of Uncle Grandpa season 1 that used to be on Netflix. There were some pretty minor differences, and idk if most of it could actually be called "censorship", but it was different nonetheless. Differences that immediately come to mind: Uncle Grandpa sometimes said "Stay in school, don't do drugs!" instead of just "Stay in school!", like in the pilot episode. Uncle Grandpa occasionally invokes god ("With God as my witness...", "Dear God...", etc.) The first "Xarna: She-Warrior of the Apocalypse" ends with her chasing an actual gas delivery truck to refuel her motorcycle, instead of having a fart joke where she chases a burrito truck instead. (This is the one that I think definitely is censorship) When Xarna arrives at the gas station, she nonchalantly takes a few huffs from the empty gas pump before putting it in her bike. Anybody else remember this version of Uncle Grandpa on Netflix?
Does anyone remember the night where Cartoon Network had a block of shows that they aired in 3D? I remember having to use those red and blue 3d glasses to watch the block, and it included fosters as well as a couple of the CN Real shows. I remember these shows having reruns after that but obviously were in their normal form and not 3D.
I REMEMBER THIS!!. I remember the commercials, I remember when they first announced it, I remember seeing the fosters episode when it first came out and it was in 3d!
Brain Rush was awesome! If I remembered. Contestants would ride a rollercoaster (as we saw) once or twice while answering questions. Once the ride was over, they win cash prizes or nothing at all. It's like the final round of Family Feud
I remember watching that back in the day!! As well as most of the other CN REAL content including that one with Finn’s Voice actor who was in one of them.
@@feartheskulls I think only 5 episodes were aired. I didn't really get a chance to see it. I'm actually a little bummed now that I never saw Slam Ball.
I remember the Dexter's Lab DVD set only given away in a contest circa 1999 (I saw ads for it on TV), but didn't remember it being tied to Subway. This is going back to 2003 or so, but I remember a thread on ToonZone (now Anime Supehero) talking about Dexter's Lab that were available through Time-Life. That might be something worth looking into.
Related to the pre-launch Foster's ads... I lived in Mexico for a while in the mid to late '00s, and I used to watch Cartoon Network Latinoamerica a lot. Leading up to New Year's Day 2005, I remember they would air brief promos that teased "something big" happening at midnight on New Year's. This ended up being both the premiere of the Foster's pilot in that territory as well as the introduction for CN City there. For a while I've been curious about these promos that advertised the branding changes, but now I think it's definitely probable that they were repurposing those pre-launch Foster's promos. All I remember for sure is that they showed CN City-like locations, it's perfectly possible they had Foster's characters in them as well. Just an aside. I doubt this in particular will ever be found. At least, this video did make me think that the footage for the promo was already out there.
@@Ekraelum I don't even remember what exactly they did at midnight, I was watching of course but remember nothing too specific besides "wow, they weren't kidding about new years bringing something big and new"
BTW I am like 50% sure it was just the generic first CN City sign on and immediately transitioned into the CN City theater segments (which helpfully included plenty of Foster's characters already). Without actually having the tape I can't be sure, but it feels correct.
I loved the problem solvers when I was little. Not sure why, tbh. Now a days it doesn’t have the same effect but it doesn’t deserve to be lost media. I don’t think any media deserves to be lost
I seriously love the problem solverz. It was one of my favorite shows they made during the 2010’s. Compared to the shows like the annoying orange show. Its a really fun show- the art styles very out there and the colors could have been better, but i still really enjoyed it. I hope the media is found for it!
Not sure if they had these around the rest of the country, but I remember cartoon network put up the most absurd bill boards in the metro Atlanta area for grim adventures. Their existence lives in my head rent free lol
Excellent video, I love when you talk about Cartoon Network Lost media. everything it's just so interesting. Now, my search. Does anyone from Latin America remember that during december of 2004, they were several promos anouncing that "Something big was being built" I remember watching promos with Number 1, Dexter, Mac, Bloo, and maybe others. The thing is that, they were going to reveal it on the midnight of New Year. And that was when they first presented the new logo, and when the City era started in Latin America, maybe I'm mixing memories, but I'm pretty sure that happened. If anyone has footage from that, I would love to see it.
Wow, that Track Rats show really caught me off guard! I've been a nascar fan for as long as I remember, and I recognize a single person from the ad. The guy at 20:48 is Daniel Hemric and he actually made his way into nascar and won a championship in 2021. I am very interested in the show now 👀 contacting him could be a good first step!
Thank you I love the Problem solverz Yes Im weird I wouldnt Have Ever Thought That Ps Would Have Lost Media I really hope The Fans Of This Show Will " *SOLVE THIS PROBLEM* "
This could be a long shot, but my college Mass Art had a library with a wide collection of zines and one of them was zines made by the creator of Problem Solvers. I’m not sure if one of those zines could be the missing ones but if someone could get to the library it would be good to check!
There’s an old Cartoon Network bumper/possible PSA I have been looking for off an on for some time now. It was aired during an election (I think one of the George W. Bush ones, but could be Obama). Eustace of “Courage the Cowardly Dog” enters a voting booth and grumbles something about how they’re all the same anyway. I can’t be the only person who remembers this, right? If anyone knows where to find it, I’d love to see it again!
Yes yes yes, do a house party video please! I ground out those awful daily chores for weeks and weeks, until an annual summer Neopets event knocked me out of the routine Wait Uncle Gus and Prickles weren't full shows?! I for sure thought so from them being in the cartoon resort games n others! Lol looks like one of UG's pilots is on RUclips, just not in english
For the Subway ads I swear when I was a kid I saw on TV that they did a partnership with Nickelodeon with a line of Little Bill toys for the kids meals and line of But Ugly Martian toys for the kids meals. So if those can be found I bet the Cartoon Network ones are out their too.
I remember the Foster's character creation contest, I believe the winning character was featured in the show or at least that's what it was advertised as. I even attempted to submit something during the time.
I owned a Sheep in the Big City subway toy back in the day. I want to say there was a commercial spot with Sheep holding a subway sandwich and General Specific going after him. That was actually how I convinced my parents to take me to subway for the toys lol
A cartoon network commercial I believe is lost is one about Grim and Evil, before they became separate shows. It was a narrator talking about the shows as various character's faces fade in and fade out over a black background. At the end, it shows the Grim and Evil logo, then fades to black, but the thing that disturbed me as a child and engraved this in my memory is that immediately before the commercial ends, a skull logo appears on the screen for a split second and a low pitched sound plays. I remember the skull was drawn in the style of a logo, but I don't recall the logo being used in either show. I have searched all over for this, does anyone else remember this?
Apparently there was also an event called "Foster a Foster's Friend" where people could've called Bloo live and win prizes and stuff, but I haven't seen anything other than the advertisement pop up, which sucks
Yeah I remember that it was in the UK 2005 or 2006 I called that number as a kid and I heard bloos voice on the line but I never won anything because bloo talked so fast that I couldn't process all the information The prizes were fosters home merchandise such as shirts and toy houses I don't remember much else.
Growing up I was a cartoon net work kid thank you for bringing back some beautiful nostalgia :,) Do you think you can do a video about the cartoon network website and lost media on it? Such as flash games and the MMOs on the site :))
i havent thought of secret mountain fort awesome in so long… i watched it as a kid and i think this might finally get me into searching for lost media instead of just watching…
Man that Uncle Grandpa pilot really takes me back. I remember it was around maybe half a year before Secret Mountain Fort Awesome was even a show and by golly was it a spectacle: from meeting Uncle Grandpa for the first time, to seeing the first animated features of some of the main monsters in SMFA, to the kid that Uncle Grandpa was looking over picked up as sword and just going ham on all the monsters to save Uncle Grandpa. I never expected that pilot to become a show at the time, but man did I remember going back to it until midway through SMFA’s season 1 where I just forgot about it And we’re talking when RUclips app still had that brown tv looking thing as it’s logo(was when I first saw the pilot)
The fact that I enjoyed “The Problem Solverz” so much when I was younger amazes me. It’s nostalgic in a way but like in a sense of when you burn toast and still want to eat it.

@@johncrawfish5383 I really love finding fans of his stuff/Paper Rad! I just keep assuming there's very little that like their work due to the amount of colors/patterns & the surrealism (esp now since that stuff is from the 90s - mid 2000s
It's really disappointing that the zines/comics r lost since the ones found shows that there's so much thought put into them &, as I said, lore
Bruhhh I'm the #1 Problem Solverz fan and I'm so glad that PAPERRAD is finally getting respect and attention!!! /srs
You’re welcome
Yess omg that's my reddit post this is awesome that's it's getting more attention
I honestly think problem solverz wouldn’t have been so bad if it weren’t for the colors. The character design isn’t my thing, but it’s unique enough to have charm. The biggest problem is the eye strain. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone had a seizure because of it.
I’m interested in weird art styles but the eye strain is way too much
Apparently Mr. Enter got permanent eye damage after reviewing it.
Wym the colors? The designs are fucking creepy too. The whole show is a mess
Even if I love the show I still wish the colors of the earlier episodes(the eyestrain was dropped in Season 2, some backgrounds are even completely grayscale) weren’t as bright so more people would know it for the story instead of the art style
@@BinglesPbro it juts looks ugly in general to me. The designs are nust off
Actually season 2 of Secret Mountain Fort Awesome has been found as a user on the LMW forums posted a Google Drive link containing every episode of season 2 on that exact same thread you showed in the screenshot(BTW I'm the user you screenshotted who had plans to download the show from TVV myself, thankfully someone else beat me to the punch so I didn't have to lower my ratio) apparently friend of his had downloaded the entire series from iTunes back when it was still being sold on there. So you can mark that one as being found.
I'm glad someone managed to get them. Not even my most frequent not legal site doesn't have any episodes beyond the first season, and I've been searching for the Labyrinth parody episode ever since I saw it quite some time ago.
BRUHHH THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR GIVING RESPECT TO PROBLEM SOLVERZ
I LOVE PROBLEM SOLVERZ SO MUCH YOU HAVE NO IDEA
Also I did my part in preserving the Flash comic "Welcome to MB" before Flash shut down, it's still up on my DeviantArt
I wrote the Lost Media Wiki Article for this movie!
I want to see this
@@TheRealGaucelm oh my God!
I'm surprised I've never heard of this given how much of fan I am of Donald Fagens work
I’ve been looking for this for awhile now, there’s very little online at the moment. Donald Fagen probably would NOT have a copy and would probably NOT want to be asked about it though, so.
Yooo, I loved Secret Mountain and Problem Solvers!! The art styles were so DIFFERENT, they seriously inspired me so much as a child!
Aw yeah
I remember the Foster's promos!! I can't believe almost none of them were uploaded... the one for Mac I remember was, "Who's the kid". I think for Wilt it was, "Who's the tall guy", Eduardo was, "Who's the Monster" and I think Coco was "Who's the Bird". I've always checked the website to find out more on the Foster's show. Good times.
ruclips.net/video/p24gAEH-nzE/видео.html Is this it?
Oh, now I remember those. Eh, I don't think those are really worth digging up.
Yes! Wasn't one of them in a subway car?
I watched EVERY episode of "Destroy Build Destroy" when I was way younger.
@Rachel Turay Same here.
I feel like I remember this. She was in the mirror brushing and all kinda crazy stuff was happening in the hallway.
I actually really liked The Problem Solverz, it's pretty cool that it's got some additional media to look into!
Always pumped for these lost media videos! Especially the Cartoon Network ones :D
I remember submitting a drawing for that contest; Foster's was one of my favorites
Problem Solvers was always gross/annoying to me, and I thought the art was atrocious. But to each their own, lol. I'm kinda not surprised that there's lost media for it though, since it wasn't very popular.
Ikr some flash games I used to play are completely gone now
Foster's was a good show I used to watch on Old boomerang when I was a little kid
I remember the contest too! I don't know if I ever submitted but I do recall making an OC for it who was basically a white person shaped blob of paint that could paint with her hair and she changed color with her emotions. Like I only made her because of the contest
@@monkeystuff661 same. Every day coming home from middle school 😂
Anything related to Problem Solverz should be viewed by only those who are capable of enduring the entire color pallet flashing though their eyes
I really enjoyed Destroy Rebuild Destroy, despite hating they were starting to show live action shows. It really doesn’t surprise me to hear nobody cared enough to archive a lot of them though.
I liked that and the mad parody they did for it
@@defunctchannel9802 damn. i never thought about that…but it’s so true. like honestly, i could see it being a success on Disney.
You have the power to bring attention. Keep it up
I remember genuinely liking Problem Solverz. Totally get why everyone hated it but I still like it a bit honestly.
Well for one thing the backgrounds look like they were made by someone on LSD
Mmm if you have epilepsy it’s a no go😅
Apparently it inspired PilotRedSun who I do like so idk maybe there’s something in there that I didn’t see.
It wasn't bad, it should've been on adult swim
@@DrawtoonzStudio I believe it was "Who's the Monster?" as the Narrator was confused of Eduardo getting scared.
I seem to recall the one with Coco vaguely.
I could just be misremembering
Update: Still playable via the Internet archive using Cent Browser
Yup they had a flash game called Tomb Of Nefertiti, it’s almost impossible to play now, but I haven’t checked flashpoint yet to see if they have it. Gameplay videos still exist on RUclips though.
@@rod3266 I have an old browser that let's me play flash games. I'll try to remember to snoop around sometime
Thanks for showcasing my thread! I wasn’t sure if any of the secret mountain fort awesome episodes from season 2 would resurface but we finally have them! Thanks for the exposure on the topic and everything you do for the lost media community!
LSSQ should cover lost/unreleased music and songs some time, I think that would be a very fascinating topic.
Dude I agree, secret mountain fort awesome and problem solverz are good shows with dope art direction that deserve justice
My perspective on Problem Solverz changed somewhat after watching Quasi at the Quackadero, a crazy 1975 animated short that I’m absolutely sure inspired the show’s visual style, but I still can’t get behind the random XD humor and the writing feeling like it was made up on the spot by stoners who hate kids
Nevertheless I hope the missing episodes are found
It definitely feels like it would have fit far better on adult swim rather than Cartoon Network.
It’s experimental in a way that just wouldn’t mesh with a child audience and those stricter writing rules.
Seeing as Lincoln Peirce is the author/Illustrator of Big Nate, there's probably some people in the online comic community that can be contacted about the uncle gus media.
Childhood memory unlocked. I remember seeing the Sheep in the Big City subway commercial and seeing the flyer displaying all the toys in the store!
the liking Problem solvers and Secret mountain part reminds me of quote from someone I admire.
"It's not about right and wrong, it's about having less then shit taste"
- Woolie Maden ~ WoolieVS
Just a bit of context for the Foster’s promos -
There was no narrator.
Here's hoping this gives it the kick it needs.
dude i just wanna say your videos make me so happy. im constantly rewatching them at home and at school
Destroy build destroy was actually pretty dope back in the day
I also remember that charter design contest!
All the while having a major fear of some ghost girls like the one from The Grudge but that's besides the point.😅
It's kinda crazy that I forgot about this show and Level Up being a part of that CN Real block but I'm glad you reminded me of it. Hopefully someone would be willing to preserve those shows for the sake of preservation.
You dug up a trove of buried memories when you mentioned “The Othersiders.”
Shit used to scare me as a kid.
You all know they're going to make it out alive and well for the cameras
Ghost hunting on your own though? That's a whole completely different story. Not exactly ghost hunting, but I've had thoughts of exploring abandoned buildings and sites
It's ironic. This video needs more attention.
Today do be looking like a good day
Ill say it - the problem solvers is a really unique and fun show. I hope the stuff gets found.
Exactly!
also, Track Rats did air. There is a few schedules I found from 2010 which have it on a 6:58 timeslot. It seems that it's another 2 minute segment show like hotdog TV.
Awesome more Cartoon Network topics. I feel like I was always loving CN more than Nickelodeon but you gotta love both.
I always had a penchant for the macabre and I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one who liked Problem Solverz and Secret Mountain
The episodes of Secret Mountain Fort Awesome were on Netflix US around 2014. I watched it around when Uncle Grandpa started airing for that episode, and the episode that had the nerd character from the Uncle Grandpa pilot.
Cartoon Network has some really interesting lost media!
Wilts walks by and the narrator goes
“That guys really tall”
Coco walks by and that narrator says
“That’s one coco bird”
And Edward walks by saying
“That’s one fuzzy guy” or something to that extent
i remember problem solvers lol. probably the most stimulating show I’ve ever witnessed on the air besides maybe secret mountain fort awesome
Hey whoa whoa whoa, I loved Destroybuilddestroy and Survive This. I actually wondered why it was canceled. I loved those 2 shows
Because they weren't cartoons.
I remember the day cartoon network became CN real. That day my sister and I were turning on the TV to watch cartoon network and we seen they changed it. We both asked what the hell they were even airing? Needless to say,we were totally upset.
Same that was a dark ass time
No one blames you
To be honest, I actually did enjoy some of the live action shows like DWWH and DBD. I think even Annoying Orange got a show.
One piece of Cartoon Network lost media I've never heard anyone talk about was the "uncensored" version of Uncle Grandpa season 1 that used to be on Netflix. There were some pretty minor differences, and idk if most of it could actually be called "censorship", but it was different nonetheless. Differences that immediately come to mind:
Uncle Grandpa sometimes said "Stay in school, don't do drugs!" instead of just "Stay in school!", like in the pilot episode.
Uncle Grandpa occasionally invokes god ("With God as my witness...", "Dear God...", etc.)
The first "Xarna: She-Warrior of the Apocalypse" ends with her chasing an actual gas delivery truck to refuel her motorcycle, instead of having a fart joke where she chases a burrito truck instead.
(This is the one that I think definitely is censorship) When Xarna arrives at the gas station, she nonchalantly takes a few huffs from the empty gas pump before putting it in her bike.
Anybody else remember this version of Uncle Grandpa on Netflix?
Did someone say Jib and Crash the Hollywood Sneaks, the Puppet Duo that gave sneak peaks of movies? Specifically the Speed Racer one.
I remember that! It was Fosters and an episode of Out of Jimmy's Head.
Why does this sound like a dope alternate dimension or envision of Cartoon Network remotely being a 3D geometrical TV based network tbqh Lmao.
I REMEMBER THIS!!. I remember the commercials, I remember when they first announced it, I remember seeing the fosters episode when it first came out and it was in 3d!
I think that was a special edition of the Fridays block, but I could be mistaken.
@@newguy371 Actually, I think it was part of a lesser-known block called Fried Dynamite.
dude what would happen and destroy build destroy brought back MEMORIES
Brain Rush was awesome! If I remembered. Contestants would ride a rollercoaster (as we saw) once or twice while answering questions. Once the ride was over, they win cash prizes or nothing at all.
It's like the final round of Family Feud
I remember watching that back in the day!! As well as most of the other CN REAL content including that one with Finn’s Voice actor who was in one of them.
You liked Brain Rush? I only saw parts of it, but apparently it did so poorly they didn't even finish the season.

I was wondering why uncle Gus looked so familiar, but when you said Lincoln Pierce, I immediately tied it to big nate
Yeah, actually the whole rebranding from Powerhouse to CN City in CNLATAM is lost. Those teasers would be easier to find than the rebranding tbh
Thanks for shouting out for the help.
I remember watching the problem solvers and secret mountain fort awesome and I love it. I can also see why a lot of people didn't.
I loved the problem solvers when I was little. Not sure why, tbh. Now a days it doesn’t have the same effect but it doesn’t deserve to be lost media. I don’t think any media deserves to be lost

Watching lost media videos makes me feel like a detective looking for my next case
Foster's Home was my childhood. Just seeing Blue and Mac, brought back a lot of memories.
Nice!

I ground out those awful daily chores for weeks and weeks, until an annual summer Neopets event knocked me out of the routine
Wait Uncle Gus and Prickles weren't full shows?! I for sure thought so from them being in the cartoon resort games n others! Lol looks like one of UG's pilots is on RUclips, just not in english
I had completely forgotten about problem solvers and Smfa. I used to watch them on demand Comcast on repeat.
I'm still mad after all this time Tower Prep ended up flopping. That was such an awesome show!
For the Subway ads I swear when I was a kid I saw on TV that they did a partnership with Nickelodeon with a line of Little Bill toys for the kids meals and line of But Ugly Martian toys for the kids meals. So if those can be found I bet the Cartoon Network ones are out their too.
Someone uploaded Eduardo’s “Who’s that?” Promo just 8 hours ago. ;)
Didn’t the show debuted on Cartoon Cartoon Fridays back in mid-2001?
Apparently there was also an event called "Foster a Foster's Friend" where people could've called Bloo live and win prizes and stuff, but I haven't seen anything other than the advertisement pop up, which sucks
Might have been uk exclusive though, since the guy in the ad had a british accent
Yeah I remember that it was in the UK 2005 or 2006 I called that number as a kid and I heard bloos voice on the line but I never won anything because bloo talked so fast that I couldn't process all the information
The prizes were fosters home merchandise such as shirts and toy houses I don't remember much else.
A bunch of the CN Real shows are still on itunes in Australia, but you need an Australian credit card to buy something from there.
And now it's time for today's sponsor;

Growing up I was a cartoon net work kid thank you for bringing back some beautiful nostalgia :,) Do you think you can do a video about the cartoon network website and lost media on it? Such as flash games and the MMOs on the site :))
Dude what would happen and destroy build destroy was my introduction to that genre of reality television
i havent thought of secret mountain fort awesome in so long… i watched it as a kid and i think this might finally get me into searching for lost media instead of just watching…
I never expected that pilot to become a show at the time, but man did I remember going back to it until midway through SMFA’s season 1 where I just forgot about it
And we’re talking when RUclips app still had that brown tv looking thing as it’s logo(was when I first saw the pilot)
