www.bygeniescr... Full description of how to change your #Volkswagen #Polo #1.2TSI & #1.4TSI #Engines #Water #Pump & #Thermostat #Housing Replacement Instruction
Is it the same procedure on a seat ibiza with a 1.2l tsi engine? Found one thats going for quite cheap due to a coolant leak or "drip" as the seller stated. I could probably do it myself if this is all it takes.
Excellent video thankyou. I have a small drip which seems to be coming from around the thermostat housing. I have replaced the seal but still have the drip. Would i replace the whole housing. Thanks
Yes just replace the housing it is probably leaking form the housing do a pressure test to see where the leak is coming from before you replace anything
Evening bru I am driving tsi highline 2015 my car is overheating but I did change the water pump the water doesn't circulate freely is seem as if there is a blockage somewhere plz help
Hey Makha Hlongwa I would start with checking the fault codes first and check if the water pump is properly installed also check that your thermostat is working
What if the is car display engine management and it drain water and notify with overheat warning then you pour water again .but the car heater is not working is it possible that it's water pump and thermostart.
Thanks for the video! My polo is pooling what appears to be coolant in the exact same place - on top of the trans case. Are you replacing the water pump as well or just the thermostat housing? Thanks
Hey bro, I bought the same car on auction when I checked the oil cap I found a milky white on the cap I suspect it’s mixed oil and water. So I was wondering what can I do from here ?
Hey can the coolant leak in the engine. Got the same car. And my mechanic said it was not a head gasket or head crack. It was water pump leaking after the seal were done
Hi. I'm using polo 1.2 tsi. I had experience the coolant was slowly decrease in the tank but somehow there was no leaking. Recently I had change the waterpump since the old one was faulty. Let's say I topup coolant today then after 2-3 week it will decrease. Anyone had an idea?
@@g_a_bofficial i had go to the mechanic twice to run the pressure test. They told me all was good. Now i suspecting either the coolant tank or the blue cap. Maybe it's about time to replace it.
Hi mate, in the same predicament with my car, is the top cover above the waterpump just purely protecting the larger cog the belt is connected to? Would i be right in saying this doesn’t need a gasket or anything to keep it water tight. Also in the title it says 1.4tsi, I have the same 1.4tfsi am i right in saying that the water pumps are both identical to the one in this video?
Thank you for this video, it helped me out so much.
Cuantos kilómetros tenia esa bomba nunca se le había cambiado el REFIGERATE o era que lo relleno con agua gran video

No it’s coming out of the cylinder head already and by passing wherever the leak is coming from
Hi bro I have the same problem on my vehicle its a polo 1.2 tsi. Are you not around western Cape ?
Ist not possible if I completely remove the thermostat and put back the old housing without a thermostat
Just change the whole thing it will save you a lot of headaches

Check your oil, if there is coolant in your oil there may be a leak internally.
Top it up to the maximum mark in the bottle and get someone that knows about car to have a pressure test done
@@ivodeboer7013 just check this morning by using the dipstick. No coolant mix with oil.
