How to replace thermostat 1.4 TSI VW, Skoda, Seat, Audi

    Thank you you solved my mystery . my mk6 GLI 2.0 TSI DSG has two thermostat also the lower one goes to a trans cooler after taking water pump out I had a spring on the ground and couldn’t figure where it went until I saw this video.

    whay the two thermostats havent the same opening tempurature (the first open at 83°C and the second at 105°C)

    I know this video is old but if u see.. I want to know the valve 87c secondary1 under the coolant temperature has water flow..even though it's not stuck open and tried to put the plastic part only with manual force..still water can flow.. then what's the point of this thermostat is there.

    Is this applicable for 1.4 Ecofuel 2011 enginee? I think there are not 2 thermostats isnt it?

    Please I have the same engine and I have never heard the ventilator of the radiator working is it from the thermostat or it's normal for this engine
