How to remove a filter using the Rinnai filter removal tool.

I have posted this tool many times on my channel and my other social media platforms. I have been using this tool for many years and it has been 100% successful for me.
There is a lot more to removing the housing then is seen, yes, this tool is labeled as a filter removal tool but it's actually a tool to remove the housing holding the filter. Once the housing is removed most of the time the filter and O ring stays inside. This is quite easy to remove but 99.9% of the time you will have to break it out.

Got the same or nine water heater, throwing a code 11 but there’s water in the bottom of the case I can’t tell where it’s coming from. It might just be condensate I was getting vapor lock.

Got hot water but it has a hissing sound even when powered off. No error code. Unit is only 6months old. Unit service performed. Hissing persists. Any ideas?

rheem you can remove filter, plus orange on rheem can't get stuck like Rianni.
