The gods do bleed golden blood, but its called ichor. Their true forms are when they summon their full powers and if a mortal looks at it theyll be vaporized on the spot. Thats why the gods shapeshift into smaller human forms

And they have true forms, which are so incomprehensibly powerful that the human mind and body would disintegrate just by seeing it. And they don't have DNA, meaning that demigods can date each other without worrying about incest -- so long as they don't share a godly parent, they're good!
