I agree, Ayla is a natural. I hate those artificially forced ASMR made voices were they prolong each word to the point it is uncomfortable to listen. Ayla also makes Yoga Nidra videos with no background sound. This is where you can completely enjoy her relaxing voice. I managed to actually feel benefits of YN because of this channel.
Ohhh, you are so wonderful! Many blessings to you. Thank you for practicing with me. It means the world to me to know that you are experiencing something impactful. I send you so much love and gratitude 🖤✨🙏
This yoga Nidra was really soothing. So much that I did want to continue there, feeling at peace and at ease. May this beautiful energy be with all of us all day long, every day. Thank you so much.
I woke up around 3 a.m., excited to dive in to your new yoga nidra. It was a little too early, half yoga nidra, half lala land. It did transform my sleep. Will try again.
I started having more vivid dreams when my practice become more consistent. Our imagination/creativity definitely expands as we become open to it again, in my experience
This was nice! It felt as if it were still going about an hour after I stopped playing which is how far I got into meditation with this video. Thank you.
Ayla, well I tried but feel asleep probably within 10 minutes. I know that’s the benefit of your nidras, but I like to be awake a bit longer. But believe, my subconscious mind hears it all. Truly looking forward to practicing this one again. Thank you so very much Ayla for your grace and gift of Nidra.
Hi Denise 🖤✨ The bidy takes what it needs! I believe your subconscious hears it too. Plant your sankapla and your body, heart and mind will do the rest! Sending love!
You have quickly become my favorite channel for yoga nidra practices and I love that you have it in podcast format as well! I use it to wake up (I do it slowly), sometimes for a mid-day reset and for going to sleep as well. On that note I was wondering if you could make a practice where we invoke intentional dreaming. I sometimes use a sankalpa that says: I fall asleep easily, I dream and remember my dreams upon waking. So much of my communication with guides comes from Dreams so I try my best to not miss out and forget them! Thanks so much for your offerings,, Luiza from Oakland, CA
This is a curious request to consider. I will be honest I am not sure I am one to induce dreams. However, when you reach near the end of your practice… after the rapid visualization, feel free to call in your guides to move through anandamaya kosha with you. perhaps that will welcome their aid during the final and most immersive part of your journey. 🖤✨🙏
Hi Ayla, thank you so much for this great channel. I love all your episodes. I take a lot out of the practice. Goes deeper and deeper. Again: Thank you so much. Looking forward to all meditations that are still to come! Cheers , Johannes from Germany
Hey Ayla, ngl, but I finally succeeded on staying awake through this entire session on my third try🤭. My mind must have taken the title quite literally as an invitation to 😴. Strangely enough, I think my subconscious decided to continue listening and to be responsive anyway, because I the subsequent plays I felt connected to your instructions in each segment as if I had heard them before. As usual, your words are unintentional ASMR (my fav this time was "right wrist"🖤...don't ask, bc I have no clue why 😂).
More awake this morning. I love this yoga nidra. Being a caterpillar, then a larva and emerging as a butterfly, yet holding the strength and steadiness of the caterpillar and the stillness of the larva as I fly. This is a totemic image for me now, and I treasure it. I treasure you.
I'm going to try this one tonight! Hey, so I have a question that maybe someone knows the answer to. I just found out about yoga nidra 2 months ago and I've been hooked. I can't really do a sitting meditation because of chronic back pain. When I first started I got into the most deep, tranquil, amazing meditative states almost every time. But lately I haven't gotten nearly as deep, and sometimes I don't even drop in at all. Am I trying too hard? Any advice? I try to have no expectations, but having those peak experiences has made me want to chase it I guess. 🤔
As yoda says… ‘there is no try’. See if tonight you can really connect to your body in the body scan… the more you are in tune with your body, the more you are in the present moment. When you are present, you are pure experience. I hope this helps. 🖤✨
the present of presence presents pre senses to unfurl (like a sail), blossom (like a flower) ananda abide while simply residing your very own brain weather • calm thru busy til ahhh….what’s happening,.. nothing, nothing so vast and full gently surprising within • {¿ the wanting is ‘the wanting’… of what from the past,…the last time? ~ how may you be “in the last time” Presently 💝 🎁 ~ ¿ plateaus pass [and path] on the way to the 🏔 ❣️
I normally am asleep within seconds of your voice, which is great, as generally am playing in the bewitching hours, but found this morning, this one to be quite unsettling, coming in and out of dream state, and hearing some strange words. I relistened upon waking, and couldn’t find those words but did hear something I hadn’t / ‘the darkness within me….’ I understand, in your previous response about the reality of darkness existing. But is there a great responsibility for us to collectively raise frequency, not to lower people’s frequency (through use of fear etc, as that’s how disease can attach to our bodies)? What is the reasoning behind using fear /darkness in nidra? How can it not lower our frequency? And create lower frequency programming while we sleep? Really interested in the reasoning if this is traditional to nidra.
I always say… The darkness within me honours and sees the darkness within you for without this darkness we wouldn’t know how bright we were meant to shine.
i’m sorry that you heard it in that way it most certainly is a sentiment that has helped me through some of the most challenging times in my life. I believe that we must honour all the parts of ourselves. If it wasn’t for cancer, I wouldn’t have realized how wonderful it is to be alive. I hope that you’re feeling better and sending you much love. Only love on this channel.
Talking stopped at around 28 again.. I drifted off.. then talking starts again, startling me. Boom! Wide awake. Should not be hearing anything about awareness or compassion. Just yoga nidra body scan.. This was great at the beginning. The end just keeps getting more triggering.
I am sorry to hear that this practice does not land with you. I have hope you will discover one that will bring you ease. Sending so much love and thank you for sharing your experience. Rest well
Not gonna lie, I thought I was the only one that'd noticed that; since I'm just a sensitive about jump-scares. But all in all, I'm not really bothered by it. Just thought it was my nature to blame. Love all of your work @aylanovanidra!! I cannot go to sleep without listening to some kind of yoga nidra session playing 😊
I experienced this practice today, so I could feel what you both express here. I appreciate your feedback, and it inspired me to recreate this yoga nidra. I still resonate deeply with the message but feel connected with a more powerful gift. Thank you, and I look forward to updating this particular Nidra. Namaste.
I love doing your yoga nindras. I do have a question. Why do you say at the end of the practice. The darkness in me acknowledges the darkness in you? Not everyone lives in darkness. Jesus says IAM THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD whoever believes in me will not live in darkness. Gods word says you were once darkness but now you are light in the LORD John 12:46, ESV: I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.
The practice of yoga Nidra is rooted in tantra. tantra is rooted in the experience of being human, accepting (not inclusive). I recognize the darkness within all of us is present. There are parts of ourselves we reject. It is not that we lack lightness, more so, the lack of acceptance. We are dark… but there are parts of ourselves we have to give acceptance to... Because inherently darkness is within all of us… we CHOOSE LIGHTNESS to attain our own potential.
@@AylaNovaNidra thank you for the explanation. Yes I realize and accept we all have darkness but through faith in Jesus Christ that darkness is gone. The Word of Gid says believers in Christ are not in darkness anymore but Light. His Light in believers. So it just sounds contradicting to who I am.. I enjoy your mediations and appreciate your work Be blessed by the love of God has for you through His Son Jesus Christ.
FINALLY!!!!! I found a yoga Nidra channel where the voice is ACTUALLY relaxing! Lovely content 😊
