I've seen all of pawn stars and I'd have to say this man was the most calm, chillest person I've seen on the show. Good on you mate.
Old man would’ve loved it.
Yung Saucey stop 😓
He would have gave him a good offer too 😢
Man too soon 😢😢😢. But your right he would have LOVED this car. And would have gave a really good offer on it to cause it would have went in the old man's personal collection.
@@thomasross7376 Totally agree brotha
😭
seller: I'd like $50k
Cory: lemme call in my low-ball specialist
Let me go inside my car to make the phone call , so you wont hear me say you want 50k
@@henry7765 exactly
Would you sell your soul for 50k lol
It was hilarious to hear Cory's car "expert" say, because not many of that particular car were produced, its value to collectors is reduced. Isn't it usually the opposite?
@@mugwump242 probably because of that it is really hard to get original parts for the car. That's just my guess though.
Expert : the car costs around 35 to 40k
Expert later : if Corey gets the car he can make a lot of money..
That was very weird for him to say when he’s supposed to be impartial. Makes you question his appraisal.
Yeah. They were working as a team on that one!
These so call expert that Corey call low prices so he can get his cut of the money. They always call expert when the seller say his or her price
Oh god Cory your laugh, he’s turning into Rick
I scrolled just to see that comment
Well usually thats a smokers laugh
The apple doesn’t fall far....
When you're your dad 11 hours a day you'll turn into him.
Weird comment.
That car is absolutely incredible. That's when Detroit really made classy automobiles.
people buy made in china sht now.....you should check out the chinese cities, they look great with our money

Cory: _"Im gona jump in my car an call a friend"_
Truth: *I'm gona tell my friend how much you're asking and tell him to lowball you / under quote the price*
This car sold at auction for $28,000
. Its not worth much as its not a popular car.
Yep that's exactly what time thinking they do to. That's why they never show them on the phone talking to their experts at ripping people off. Crooks.
@@riffseekers5229 mad crooks
@@leelizardwilcox6271 neither bugattis are but they sell for more than 10 m
I never understood why the seller would tell them what they’re looking for it when they know they’re going to call their buddy before offering. It’s almost guaranteed their estimate will be 20% lower than what they’re asking. There are few occurrences where it’s appraised higher. That’s usually when the seller has no clue what they have.
That was such a beautiful car. I know that car IS worth 50K. Easily. Good job for standing your ground.
What it’s worth and what a pawn shop is willing to pay for it are very different things.
Maybe you could get 50..but most likely not..say you found someone willing to pay 45k for it..would you be willing to put in the time and effort to help him sell at that price without taking in a commission fee for all that effort, plus pay the people, and the storage fees, and all the bills that keep the lights on in your establishment? That's why you don't own your own business. He'll, that's why I don't own my own business. It's alot of work to do those things and it's why alot of people aren't successful and arent having their own TV shows
Just because it is a beautiful car doesn’t make it worth more. The expert said the market value and that is the value, no matter how undervalued it is.
*"Ever seen one?"*
_"In pictures"_
*Me:* In a RUclips video
And he has seen one in person
@@jecos1966 now but he passed. that thing will go for 50 easy at auction
@@monmixer Corey said he has never seen one in person. It a car not a human been
@@monmixer actually for 28 600 in 2016.
Even better😄
"I think the lowest I could do is 45."
"You couldn't do like half of that?"
Thats an insult to the Pez comunity
Delusion In The Brain fr
Is the seller in the Pez community ?
Corey is one of them bunch of chooches 🤣
Mr. Brown and I got along famously
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
I understand having to make money on things, but Corey always low balls people so bad right off the bat.
AJudge IsTheTruth99 He lowballs to make his second offer seem that much better. If he offered 27k, and then offers 28k, the second offer seems that much less impressive as it’s such a low increase. It’s not an awful strategy.
That’s a ridiculous offer I’m so happy to see that he wasn’t in a desperate situation so that he could be taken advantage of
People lowball every day, including you.
It's how business works.
The car sold for 28k at auction, so the guy would have been better off taking Corey's deal.
he learned from the best low baller in the business... his dad
I really don't know what this car is worth, so let me get my buddy here so he can low ball it real hard, okay?
Thats what they always do. Like why not just bring the expert with you since you have no clue on the pricing. Oh wait they do and act like they are calling them in. Its dumb
@@pirkkala Näi o.
This car sold at auction for $28,000. Id say Coreys mechanic knew what he was talking about.
Not a low ball lol, you just don’t know how the business works and if it’s common or rare/highly collectible, also the appraisals are based on real factual comparisons of others sold and if it’s rare/common. Anyways people shouldn’t complain when it’s a pawn shop, a business to make money, not pay top dollar for something and have little profits.
@@TheBaBaTV Yep! Could never figure out why people go to a Pawnshop to sell High end items. Not right in the head I guess lol
Old man would've loved it
RIP. Old Man
This season was recorded in 2016
lame attempt at getting likes.
@@piratepetty Yep. The obsession with getting likes has become ridiculous.
@@VagueMemory I liked your comment
Corey's offer was actually really good. The seller sold this at auction later for $28,600. Subtract the fees, and he would have been better off taking Corey's offer.
If I ever have a car like that for sale, the first person I would call is Jay Leno, not these vultures! Jay would buy it in a heartbeat.,😎
California Condor he probably has it
Well said!! 👍
he probably has 10 of them
Right!!
It's not all original. Jay would pass on this one
Cool man. Sold at auction for $28600 so big hoss was spot on.
But if Big Hoss gave 28K for it he'd be in the hole after auction expenses.
Gregs Designs 2-3 minutes searching and you'll see all the proof you need
Greg is one of those morons that uses the internet to ask people on RUclips to answer the questions they can easily find on the internet.
My point is that you’re a moron and you have proven it perfectly. Thank you!

Body: I need to get at least 7 hours of sleep tonight, I have to be up early.
Brain: Best I can do is 2. I'm taking a huge risk here.
Body: Would you be able to do 6?
Brain: *exhales deeply* I can do 3, that's my final offer.
Lol i love it. Relatable too
Love it when these guys walk away empty handed
If the Old Man was alive, he'd really want this Chrysler. RIP, Richard.
I wonder what happened to the PEZ guy
big cheese He died in a freak pez dispensing accident
That offer was an insult to the Town & Country community
He got killed by the Pez Community. The first rule of Pez Community is: You do not talk about Pez Community. The second rule of Pez COmmunity is: You do not talk about Pez Community.
That is an insult to the Pez Community!
He went to Pennsylvania cuz that's where the Pez factory is
This same car in Vegas is listed on Barret Jackson for 28k lol
Yup should have took Corey's offer. Sold for 28,600 minus the 8% auction fee
Pro tip: When they ask you "how much are you looking for?" Don't tell them how much until after the "expert" comes and appraises it.
Yep! I guess these guys use some weird hidden microphones lol.
Or take up a notch, he should have said 65,000
Great episode 😊
Judging by the shape, it arguably looks to be between Excellent and Concours according to the Hagerty scale. That puts it in the $49,900 to less than $91,400 range. Not sure what year this was filmed, but I think the expert was a little on the low side, and it seems the owner was actually pretty conservative with his number.
Yeah and Corey offers 22. What an insult to the car. I could never make an offer like that on a car of that caliber. Depending when you sell, it could do 60-75 I think.
You obviously didn't see the orange peel on the repaint. Look at the tailpipe. This is a high #3, at best.
That's why it didn't even net $25k at auction in 2021.
i want this car, i’ll pay 45k no problem, that’s a classic work of art, this is my favorite car of all the ones they’ve had on the show...
And that’s why you don’t sell to a pawn shop, you sell to someone who falls in love with it and overpays.
2:50 _Plot Twist!_
Little did he know , he just got Jacked!! 😂🤣
Legend has it , he's still waiting for them to come back.
Ummm, ok.... Sure...
Beautiful vehicle. I would love to own this.
That car is beautiful.
"Do you mind if I have a buddy" lol lol
I love y'all at Pawn Stars 🌟 one love
I would buy it for double if I had that kind of money, that's a beautiful car
Sell it at the Pomona Antique old cars Swap meet they have about 7 to 8 shows a year 👍in Pomona Ca.
Absolutely beautiful Car!!
The guy is so polite ( the owner)
Merry Chrysler
Wow very nice car, back in time with this car😊
Mr. Brown drives a hard bargain for 1950 Chrysler famously
That's one beautiful car
It’s crazy how new luxury cars can be worth more than these old classics that were built with expensive materials and being a rare and in good condition car
Aside from the Rolls Royce, they no longer make any luxury cars, as cramped rough-riding compacts are not luxurious.
I usually don't like old cars but this is beautiful especially the color
Going through my house looking what to sell... a toy, phone..
Pawn stars: am i a joke to you?
prices on these have been dropping like a rock... Hagerty avg sell price now is $28K .. was over $40K a few years ago.
he is turning into the old man with classic cars
This expert literally didn't know what he was talking about. Wood Town and Countries are like insanely valuable.
Love the color of the car 💚
Coreys handshake tho 4:27
That wasn't a hard bargain, that was typical Gold-n-Silver lowballing.
Dam that is class
nice glasses gory lmfao
When u really like some thing u buy it👏🤝🚗😃
When he said call a buddy... thought he meant Danny
Corey is picking up Rick's laugh
Love that color of green. Sweet.
Sold for only 28.6k at auction in 2016. Looks like Corey made the correct decision.
makes you wonder though what they're selling for in 2022 since pretty much all cars especially used ones have skyrocketed out of control.
The front nearside wing has been dinged or replaced at some point. Just look at that orange-peel paintwork at 0:16...
That car is absolutely worth 50k...so taking 40k for it would have been a good deal...Cory's guy started way to low.
I agree great car, but never knew anyone whose dream car was a mint green 1950 town and country....
I honestly was expecting Danny, who is this new dude?!
Did you get those glasses free in a cereal box!!!😁
I can't believe such a beautiful and rare car is not worth even $50,00. I understand that rarity doesn't neceessarily make something more expensive, but this car is in 100% expert shape!
THATS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CAR
good luck maintaining the wood
Man feel safe in that tank nothing stopping you no joke and the room inside who needs a house you could live in it lol
Rick would have been taking all the risk and would still have to pay to frame it. A $100 would have been fair
Don't bring a perfect amazing car like this to these guys. Go to Jay Leno's house and he would pull out cold hard cash without hesitation.
It's in fabulous condition but no one seeks out this kind of classic
When you inspect a car even new ones always good to put them up on a lift. After body damage repairs if nothing else for safety purposes.
The front end looks just like a 1949 Cadillac.
Smart man knew what he had and wasn't going to give it to Corey based on the bogus expert.
What a beautiful car.
beautiful car
Corey ill give you a tootsie roll wrapper for it
If your early on a pawn stars video...your awesome
You're
You’re x2

Beautiful car ....
Should try put it across the block at auction on Barrett Jackson. thats a beautiful Chrysler
Gta NEEDS something like this
You cant put a value on the great 'Hudson Hornet'
Corey offered what it sold in auction. Not a low ball at all
Just bring the expert in the first place, you knew what you were going to look at
Well done. No deal
I wish they'd fire Corey and hire Mr Brown. A true star
Good for the owner.nice job👍

I respect his decision
Wheres Danny to be the expert?
They never call an expert in front of the customer
I have no idea why people would want to sell such a beauty.
Glad the guy did not sell it. This car looks great!
Dummy should have taken the 28k (probably could have gotten to go up to 30k). He ended up selling it at an auction for just over 28k...after the auction fees, he got thousands less than he would have got from Cory. Dude should have done his research on what the car is worth.
