At the end the seller was saying how the expert didn't know anything about the car but yet he knew what kind of engine was supposed to be in it and he noticed the transmission shifter was changed but yet the seller said everything was all original.... Well apparently not and he admitted afterwards that it wasn't so he's apparently a liar

The brakes are not a big deal if it was all original. Problem was its nothing but a body, and no collector will buy it. Its only value is to a regular customer off the street that wants to look like an old car even though its only 1/4 original, and those people won't pay much.

@Jesus is KING I believe that Corey offered him a very reasonable offer for that car now if the car had the original engine and trans yes I could probably see about around 17 maybe $18,000 but other than that I see cars like that with modern transmissions and motor conversions in a car that somewhat looks all original on the outside gopher no more than maybe 10 to maybe $14,000 if that now if that's a 2-door Coupe you're probably looking at another thousand or $1,500 more but that's it and plus two it seems like the classic car Hobby is not what it is right now people are not buying many classic cars + + 2 I've gone to many car auctions I've seen maybe a couple of years ago what went for let's say on the average of $20,000 now that same car for this year in 2019 I believe that depreciation for that particular model sometimes goes down by about 2,000 to maybe $3,000 less than what the car has sold for so it is a very unstable Market when it comes to buying and restoring and selling classic cars.

Fender skirts are aftermarket option, even it is back in 1940 as of dealership accessories. It even equipped with a big metal sun visor that look like a baseball player. This 1940 Buick is great for taking a family to the baseball park.

I love this. My dad had one of those car swamp coolers on our car in the late 1950's and it would shower you with water if you sat next to it.

I remember a1949 pontiac was in a barn here. It had cracked the head in 1950, then the husband died of something. That car still had a new interior. Had a glass indian face hood ornament. Didnt even have a flat. But, its gone now.

I will say, as someone who works on cars for a living. It looked like a Chevy brake system from the 1990's. They have a soft pedal sometimes, and it stops just fine. But the expert is right. Once they hit the floor, you're out of brake

For once, I agree with the appraisal. The car was far from original and needed tons of work.
That car deserves a better owner. I got an all original '36 Ford 4dr in the same condition with redone interior and original drivetrain for $10k. Corey was being extremely nice offering $15k.
He should have taking that 15k and ran all the way to the bank. He stole that car from someone most likely he only paid maybe 3500.00 at the most.
