The stage is typically wood or mirror-- how do you drag your knees like that without hurting them? Should I powder my knees or wear pads?

I’d wear nude knee pads ☺️ If I can do it on a carpet I think you will be able to do it on wood/mirror too 😌
This is the first video of yours that I've seen, and it was really good! You were great at breaking down the movement into a set of micro-movements; and if you want to make slight adjustments, where to do it. In breaking it down, you can also see how much the fluidity of the tailbone / pelvis is part of this move. Awesome job! Thanks for sharing! 😊

Thank you for your lovely comment ❤️ I will make more tutorials for floor work 🙌🏽 I only trust X-Pole 😍 they are the best in my opinion! I have a link in the description box. Just look for the Pole Starter Package. X-Pole also offers a special ceiling mount if you really want to have it permanently (would be with screws). Otherwise just the one that I have is perfect and no screws 😍👌🏽 P.S. never buy a fake pole! Only go for an established brand 👍🏽

Would it be possible to do a video on what to look for when purchasing a pole for home. There are so many options on the market right now. Are there certain things that we need, don't need, and optional features to consider? Some gals go to a hardware store, and buy a metal pipe. I think there have to be better options. Any guidance is greatly appreciated!😊

Thank you 😍 It depends. This trick you can do pretty much straight away in high heels 👌 More advanced tricks take longer, but the more you practise the faster you'll get better ♥

Hi what pole do you use please?
I use a powder coated 45mm pole from xpole but I do prefer chrome and will go back to chrome. I have a link in the description box if you want to check out the pole (not sure if it’s available again though).

Sorry I know this is a very late reply, but I looked it up and it looks like it's either called a sexy push up or a Russian push up. As for the small part around 1:25 where she does a move before the sexy push up, it looks like a variation of a fan kick!

Hey, you can start pole dancing at any age. There are even classes for kids and I taught kids myself. Maybe you'll need the permission from your parents but if you really want to learn it your parents hopefully support you. Have a look if there are any studios nearby that you could contact (if there's anything open). I always recommend getting a pole at home so that you have time to train for yourself, that's what really made the difference for me. Good luck and give it a go :)

It‘s just a normal rug that is super old. I absolutely prefer a wooden floor though!! My knee was bleeding after filming this video 😅
How do you slide your knees on the floor like that! That was the hardest part for me
Do you have a carpet? It's always better to do it on a wooden floor... You can always use kneepads, that will help you slide :)

I tried to do I put I fell on my face 😭I’m gonna start with both knees on the ground farther away and slowly move them closer when I get comfortable and then put the leg up
So sorry to hear that. Are your arms strong enough? If you think that is your weak spot do ladies push ups and build up the strength in your arms. The variation you did with both legs on the ground is a good way to practice too :)
