All jokes aside, I think I kinda like the finality of things. Being aware that there is an end kinda gives meaning to why I should bother while I still can. Say I've got another 20-60 years to live, I know that I want to be fulfilled by the time it ends. Ever since I was a kid, I was genuinely afraid of heaven. I didn't quite understand it back then but now I know that whatever idea that was painted to me just seemed so monotone. It felt like I'd lose my identity by "living" an eternity of contentness in heaven under whatever was right under god. But then the idea that lucifer was an angel who disobeyed god opened a new can of worms in my mind. "Wait, do I have to conciously try?" And then I realized it'd be way scarier having to spend eternity actively having to stay right. I didn't like either option as a kid so I was genuinely afraid of what it'd actually be like

Great vid. I think the meaning of life really starts to click around middle age. You'll realize that the idea of "you" is an illusion in the first place. Every human is just a tiny spec of the universe having a conscious experience of itself. It wasn't until I left my faith that I realized life is a process of letting go of these earthly attachments and concepts that actually keep us from living in the present moment which is made valuable, ironically, by our impending death. Time passing actually forces us to value each day and appreciate that we are here in the first place. What happens after death is probably hidden from us because we'd value life less if we knew. I personally can't say we die forever because there's some weird stories out there. The most important thing I think is to remove the egoistic notion that our individual selves need to live forever just because. Especially when we're a pretty selfish species. Our contribution in our lifetime is more important and death forces us to recognize that.
@malikpeace_ No, not really tbh, I look at death and see it in nature and in us humans. Death will one day sneak up on you no matter what you try to do, and when that happens you have nothing to worry about. I'm fully ok with the thought that I have limited time on earth, because I enjoy my time but I accept I can't have it forever. That part of not being here one day is why we live the way we do. Life is the most beautiful gift we've been given and death is simply us giving it back. But I wish you a long and fulfilling life, these videos you make are going to be a testament to your future kin and to the people next in line, about life in 2024. Keep up the great work.
recently finished death of ivan ilyich by tolstoy i think u gotta read it at some point it covers the exact sentiment you have towards this subject and its hella short
All of this is making me extremely axious.. i fear everyday of this Edit: im having a panic attack over this video Edit 2: im past the first half, this is a rollercoaster of emotions..
Imo time, or rather the passage of time, is a pretty human concept. And honestly yeah, death is technically the only known. It's just after death thats the unkown 😂
i feel heard in a sense? i dont know how to express this feeling. ive never believed in reincarnation, ghosts or the concept of heaven, swarga, jannah, nark, hell whatever. n for some reason, its hard for most religious ppl to comprehend that. ig ive found my people lol
Oddly enough, I find comfort in the concept of *infinite* time. Assuming all we are is physical, there is the fact that when life stops and we lose consciousness, we lose the perception of time. This means from the perspective of the deceased, an eternity of time passes in an instant after death. And so as long as the probability of the universe randomly reassembling your consciousness in particular is non-zero, then over an eternal timescale it's statistically inevitable to happen; meaning everyone eventually will wake up again somewhere, in some form, somewhen an incomprehensible amount of time in the future At least, that's my rationalization of death lol. But I think it's a pretty sound rationalization. If this hypothesis is true, even if my memories are gone and I'll never be the "me" I am today again, I find comfort in the fact that I will (hopefully) continue to exist in some fashion. I don't want to die, but I also don't want to go insane via living forever... so a great reset of my consciousness re-emerging in some fashion to live life again in some form feels like the best case scenario
interesting but the question is "is consciousness and your awareness only based on formation of atoms?" like if i got a 100% clone of you, would u feel that? Or is that something different. And if you are another consciousness somewhere else, how would u even know about your life right now? You wouldn't know you had a past life at all and It'll be the start of the cycle all over again. Also if your consciousness is reset 10^12390123 times, what happens after the very last time? what happens after the universe is gone and there's no more atoms?? interesting thoughts tho lol
@@malikpeace_ I don't think consciousness has anything to do with atoms, as throughout the course of life every atom in our bodies inevitably gets cycled out with different atoms, yet consciousness is continuous; meaning that it must lie in the pattern of the stuff we're made of, not the stuff itself The riddle I've been thinking about lately is: out of the billions and billions of humans that have ever existed in our world, why is my lens of self-awareness *here* and *now* and on *this body*, instead of in any of the countless other humans that have exist today and throughout history? Why am I me, and not anyone else?
@@SuzuBelle-w4n i really like those thoughts as i think about that stuff probably more than i should. I wonder if we will ever find an answer to that. If we'll ever find an answer to what we even are which seems like it would be very obvious. It's interesting because with stuff now with AI coming, this is becoming and more and more important question as we try to figure out if something even is conscious and what that even means

4:25 to 4:47 I getting every time like a little bit frustrated if people assume heaven is like earth but only better. No heaven is not like earth but Billion times better it’s heaven. After you enter it you want not to leave it. And if you go after that to another place then you will lose ur mind because how sh ty this place is. Not only your material but also your immaterial desires will be fulfilled. It’s not only about Happiness but also inner peace. You will not get bored it even doesn’t exist, it’s like a exciting scene in a movie you want to go it on. And there is this one thing what many assume will happen ,,I’m calling it decay of the human mind or soul I hope u understand want i mean with it,, it doesn’t exist. If you loved Minecraft as a child but not anymore as an adult then I can say to you that you will love it again. Not because someone puttet this love in your heart but of your one. There was one comment on a video called why heaven would be hell or so. He said because he has social anxiety or ADHD I don’t remember it would be hell for him to be and to see all those people forever. I’m like thinking ,,how about thinking you don’t have this anymore,,. And it’s not like that a part of yourself is removed or it is like those movies were the character is living in a utopian but it has a catch movies. You will be yourself but better. What I want to say is don’t think that heaven has a catch.
I really do appreciate your response and I want u to know i respect your opinion and don’t wanna seem like I’m trying to offend you at all. My thing is this: if u go to heaven where everything is perfect.. what are u doing to do there? Like literal actions? Are u going to watch tv? Walk around? Work on a project?? Play games all day? Like what exactly? And if u do the things you enjoy for 49,927,826 years, wouldn’t that get extremely boring?? And if u say that part of you is removed, then wouldn’t that limit your freedom? If the part of you that gets bored is removed? If The part that contains your fears, insecurities, doubts, everything is gone, how are you still you anymore? If you just become a happy soul who never experiences anything bad ever again.. would that be enjoyable? Let’s say you do find inner peace… then what? Like do you just sit there forever?? Meditate? Being thankful for everything?? I’m not saying it doesn’t sound like a good place to be, I’m just saying literally anything you do, or anywhere you are, will drive u absolutely insane if stretched to infinity Once again, I mean everything respectfully and I’m thankful for your comment :)
@@malikpeace_ No no you did not offended me but I think only that people don’t understand what heaven really means. You will not get bored because the boredom was removed of yourself but because it was removed of your environment. It’s the same with hate, yes you can still hate but there is nothing to hate. It will be removed from the environment not of yourself. It’s like you have the best meal of your live why should you be disgusted now. Why? There is no reason. And it’s the same with heaven. And to your question what we will do is everything you want. Of course not the bad stuff. But for example we will do praising god, yes I know I know it’s sound cringe but it will be great. You think heaven has a catch because everything funny on this earth has a catch be it sugar or alcohol. And I can understand this really ,,what only fun for eternity,, sounds impossible I know. But heaven has no catch. And to your last question you need not to fear the infinity in heaven. Like I said this decaying of the mind or soul this becoming creasy because of existing for infinity will not happen. You know what I mean right? This is only a earth thing. Your videos are great go so on.
@@theredrighteye4380 interesting.. but if you have the capability to be bored yet everything that's boring is removed.. then still, what do u do? Is everything just pure fun and pleasure? Do u go out and shop?? do u watch tv?? do u play video games? do u go fishing?? I know it's based off of what u personally want, but what happens after 400,000 years of doing that, what happens?? If you praise god for an eternity, would that not get boring?? Even if it is the most amazing thing ever. What about the people you enjoy being around, what do u talk about? What do u do? What if your idea of a perfect world is different from theirs? What is there to talk about about 100,000,000,000,000,000,000 years of pleasure? Because if it's literally *forever* it means u will have watched every movie, every game, ate all the food, walked the whole world, completed every project, etc. not just a million trillion times, but never ending? How can a movie be enjoyable if you know everything about every movie? After you've experience everything there is to experience, what else do u do?? Also what if you enjoy something that's uncomfortable?? Let's say u wanna climb a mountain. If the feeling of you struggling, doubting yourself, feeling pain, tiredness, boredom, everything is still possible, yet everything that can cause that is removed, wouldn't that not be good? The only way u could enjoy something forever (in my opinion) is to change the very thing that is you. If you're the exact same as you are now (basically) unlimited pleasure would get old really fast. Similar to how fast you'll get over your favorite song if u put it on repeat for 4 days straight. And i'm confused on the last part, could u explain more please? Also this is interesting i'm enjoying this and thank you :)
@@malikpeace_look i don’t know how heaven will be like in 10^100^100 years or will feel like, I don’t know if we will change in this time or if we will stay the same. I could now say that because god is infinite he can make every day a new fruit that will taste like nothing before, the same with movies, music planets, colours. I can explain that every time you listen to music it will be like your fist time listening to it. But this will not explain it better. The only thing that I can say is, trust god that he will do everything right in heaven. This is really the only thing I can say to you. There is nothing else I can do. I did everything to explain it. I can’t do more than this. I’m also only a human. And what I mean with the last thing is: that you asked me, that you would go crazy if you live forever in heaven. Or that I would go crazy if something stretches to infinity. And this was my explanation. This is what I mean with eroding souls. And to your other question. is, No. There is nothing after that. Maybe he will create a second world with new souls or something else that we can’t imagine. But No in this moment, there are only 2 destinations. Hell and heaven. There is nothing after else that. Maybe it’s sounds sad or depressing but what else should be there if I can ask you? What should be there after heaven and hell? Can you answer me this. Like this is the end. It’s like Tom Scott’s ending, were he is flying with a helicopter to the sunset. If it’s the good ending. The same is with movies there are only two endings, a happy ending were the protagonist goes happy with his wife to his house or a bad ending were he goes under the earth. The same with us, and if you can’t even imagine to live forever in heaven, then you should be scared of Hell. I don’t want now to sound like a priest but that was what I was taught. Thank you for this great conversation. In the internet there are not a lot of people were you can have such a conversation. If you have questions ask them.
@@malikpeace_ Ego fears, wants, remember and rationalize. Our egos will die but humans will live long after. Maybe the purpose that the universe has for humans is to simply reproduce and evolve our specie?
You talk a little bit about religion and you brought up a few questions about religion. I just want to say that if you study the Bible, it answers every single question. You made it clear in this video that you don't believe in a religion, but you also made it clear that you wonder a lot about death. Instead of denying the possibilities of a God, I would highly suggest that you give Christ a try. He is a historically documented person who the Bible says came back alive from the dead. If there was ever a person who knew what happens after death, it would be Jesus.
I'm a Christian, but I'm really kind of struggling in my faith right now and I don't know whats going to happen to me when I die at this point. I mean what if he's right? What if Christianity and other religions are just some bullcrap humans made up to comfort themselves from the existential dread of being gone for eternity? Like I said I'm a Christian, so I don't want to think that way... but I've always struggled to wrap my head around the idea of Heaven. I belive the rest of Christianity, but Heaven seems impossible to me. I don't *NOT* belive it either if that makes sense. It's just weird.
Thank you for your suggestion :) I personally have not read the bible, but i have been in brought up in church when i was young. we went on and off throughout my life and i've had many friends who are religious and talk with them. I also have research stuff on my own time and have been around to know a decent bit about religion. not an expect by any means but enough From my understanding, when you die (to simplify), you either go to heaven or hell based on if you were good or bad. (i've really really simplified that) But my question, is what happens after heaven? because like i mentioned before, if heaven does exist, it's cool and fine but if i can't leave i will go insane. And what happens after that? Also religion is confusing to me because even in Christianity there's several different interpretations of what happens. And same thing if i were to ask someone islamic, or hindi, or Buddhist etc. There's never a 100% answer because it's so abstract I don't mean to be mean about religion as i find it interesting, i just can't get behind it unless someone can logically explain it (personally)
@@CHR1ST0PHER_78 i remember i was brought up learning about God and stuff but as I got older and started asking simple questions it kinda fell apart for me. But everything is just my opinion and i don't know anything. But nether does any human ever lol
"Just find God" oh okay, like in the "Where's Waldo?"" Books? Smh That's the thing about Faith, it's a belief in a shared concept, to get a answer to this confusing, chaotic paradox of this existence that we find ourselves in. But it's a artificial handhold to grasp on to, in a roaring dark ocean, it's a denial of the Void around us, a Lie we tell ourselves to dull this need to know something truly unknowable. Because we fear the unknown and hate the Infinity we are in but cannot behold. I envy the resolve of the Faithful, as I envy the bliss of the fool.

All of this is making me extremely axious.. i fear everyday of this
Edit: im having a panic attack over this video
Edit 2: im past the first half, this is a rollercoaster of emotions..
Its tragic that your big videos are so much more seen than these
it'll be okay :) i'll continue to get better and hopefully i can get consistently more
very good video epic channel
finally my man dripped a new long video 🤛🤛
and i shall continue
Yeah ive had that thought
Imo time, or rather the passage of time, is a pretty human concept. And honestly yeah, death is technically the only known. It's just after death thats the unkown 😂
i feel heard in a sense? i dont know how to express this feeling. ive never believed in reincarnation, ghosts or the concept of heaven, swarga, jannah, nark, hell whatever. n for some reason, its hard for most religious ppl to comprehend that. ig ive found my people lol
hey this is off topic of the vid but where do u get those paintings? They're always so nice
Oddly enough, I find comfort in the concept of *infinite* time. Assuming all we are is physical, there is the fact that when life stops and we lose consciousness, we lose the perception of time. This means from the perspective of the deceased, an eternity of time passes in an instant after death. And so as long as the probability of the universe randomly reassembling your consciousness in particular is non-zero, then over an eternal timescale it's statistically inevitable to happen; meaning everyone eventually will wake up again somewhere, in some form, somewhen an incomprehensible amount of time in the future
At least, that's my rationalization of death lol.
@@malikpeace_ I don't think consciousness has anything to do with atoms, as throughout the course of life every atom in our bodies inevitably gets cycled out with different atoms, yet consciousness is continuous; meaning that it must lie in the pattern of the stuff we're made of, not the stuff itself
The riddle I've been thinking about lately is: out of the billions and billions of humans that have ever existed in our world, why is my lens of self-awareness *here* and *now* and on *this body*, instead of in any of the countless other humans that have exist today and throughout history? Why am I me, and not anyone else?
@@SuzuBelle-w4n i really like those thoughts as i think about that stuff probably more than i should. I wonder if we will ever find an answer to that. If we'll ever find an answer to what we even are which seems like it would be very obvious.
It's interesting because with stuff now with AI coming, this is becoming and more and more important question as we try to figure out if something even is conscious and what that even means
Whoa
50 minutes, lets goo!
Is it bad if I want to have a kid at 16 y old?
No fr we have the same philosophy. Just like after a good day you go to sleep happy. After a good life you go to die happy. I'm a stoic. I recommend to you my friend a short book from Seneca. It's called an essay on the shortness of life. I'm 19. Bro i just want to say the pieces of art in the video are great great choice. Ok your right gg momento Mori. I have a plan for my life like prioritizeing video games for 5 years. I don't want to travel but i will learn guitar and how to cook and make a tv show. I'm also antinatalist. Just want to share with you man because i feel the same stuff you feel i relate to what you're saying i remember crying so many nights after i learned religion is not reaal and there's nothing. I grew out of it i try now to become more masculine and be more manly i have masculine role models and i want to be like them. Yeah ok you're totally right man
4:25 to 4:47 I getting every time like a little bit frustrated if people assume heaven is like earth but only better.
I’m not saying it doesn’t sound like a good place to be, I’m just saying literally anything you do, or anywhere you are, will drive u absolutely insane if stretched to infinity
Once again, I mean everything respectfully and I’m thankful for your comment :)
Do you read any books to write these videos?
sometimes, it depends tbh

Hi
Hello
Böde Dániel
Imo dying is just an ego thing.
What do you mean? 🤔
Proof ?
Thank you for your suggestion :)
I personally have not read the bible, but i have been in brought up in church when i was young. we went on and off throughout my life and i've had many friends who are religious and talk with them. I also have research stuff on my own time and have been around to know a decent bit about religion. not an expect by any means but enough
From my understanding, when you die (to simplify), you either go to heaven or hell based on if you were good or bad. (i've really really simplified that)
But my question, is what happens after heaven? because like i mentioned before, if heaven does exist, it's cool and fine but if i can't leave i will go insane. And what happens after that?
Also religion is confusing to me because even in Christianity there's several different interpretations of what happens. And same thing if i were to ask someone islamic, or hindi, or Buddhist etc. There's never a 100% answer because it's so abstract
I don't mean to be mean about religion as i find it interesting, i just can't get behind it unless someone can logically explain it (personally)
@@CHR1ST0PHER_78 i remember i was brought up learning about God and stuff but as I got older and started asking simple questions it kinda fell apart for me. But everything is just my opinion and i don't know anything. But nether does any human ever lol
just find God and youll have answers
It doesnt work for everyone, at the end of the day, its all ideologies and all are valid
still all theories
"Just find God" oh okay, like in the "Where's Waldo?"" Books? Smh
That's the thing about Faith, it's a belief in a shared concept, to get a answer to this confusing, chaotic paradox of this existence that we find ourselves in.
@@Projectdarke You can literally have a conversation with God right now. All you have to do is reach out for once.
@@HoosierMan1816 Allow me to paraphrase the late Alan Rickman, as The Angel Metadron, Voice of God, in the movie "Dogma"; Because of the raw power of Gods true Voice would make a mere humans head explode, when-ever someone claims to have spoken with God, they where really talked to the Metadron.
"Or mostly they are just talking to themselves"
