I've watched numerous travel videos and this is the first time I was moved to leave a comment. Everything you say in your videos resonates with me. I know exactly where you are coming from in your life. As a 49yr single woman who has always traveled alone I truly appreciate your authenticity and putting it all out there for everyone to see. I've watched other travel vloggers with a heavy dose of skepticism thinking they are sponsored by parents or they were already financially established to travel the world. Hopefully I will have your courage to get there one day. Thanks for making this solo traveler feel normal about wanting to see the world. Keep going don't stop!
Your comment really touched me! Comments like this make me want to create more of those videos! I was looking for someone who is more 'mature' and travels on a budget and just couldn't find a content that felt real! Just like you! So I decided to do it. Against the trends. Thank you for your kind words :)
I found that Cambodia was very budget friendly. You can have a decent meal for 5-6$. people are very hospitable there. Except for the Angkor wat site all excursions are relatively cheap, as well for public transport. The same friend I went to Cambodia with went for almost 3 months to Vietnam to backpack on a budget and she said it was even cheaper. Only communication was more difficult because less (older) people would speak English.
Great, informative video. One suggestion: if you could make the videos shorter, something like 10-15 minutes. It will be easier for the average RUclips user to watch. Also, try to upload consistently (for example one video per week or one video per two weeks or one video per month etc.)
Thank you so much for the tip! The thing is that i have 2 other jobs apart from RUclips, so truly I make videos and upload whenever I can. And to be frank, I am not aiming to be just like any other RUclipsr. I want to talk to my viewers like I would talk to my friend, and when i do so, I can't constrain myself within time limits, hahaha. But I truly appreciate your tips!
Good on you girl. Your not alone. By the way, regarding back packs. I've traveled with a small backpack and just decided I just would not take anymore than what I can take in it. My fellow travellers were envious as they look like camels with all their packs back and front. Just need to do washing more often with less clothes
Great video! I found so many similarities with my life (traveling in my forties, southeast asia, Greece, and the Balkans. Also, I'm a travel videographer and photographer but not making any money from it 😄). It's like RUclips knew I had thoughts if to go on traveling again or staying at home in one place. I always had an inner call for travel and for some reason, it's still there in my 40's. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experience. Athens is beautiful and I hope you enjoy it and also Greece in General. Hoping to see more of your videos!
What a lovely energy! Bumped into your video by a chance and subscribed straight away! Thank you for creating and good luck in your travels. I will be waiting for your next videos!

Thanks for your story, I absolutely agree with what you’ve said. May I ask, what kind of employment have you found in Greece?
Just a call centre. I will be making a video about it ;)
