Thank you Pati for creating this RUclips channel, and sharing your experiences. You have motivated me so much. I live in the US. Lost my job, have zero savings and live with my parents. I just turned 27 last month, June and I feel like a complete failure. All my life since I can remember, since I was a young teenager. I have dreamed of seeing the world. I feel like a complete failure because my current now is not what I envisioned my life to be. It's not what I thought my life would look like. I have always thought that I would have already been traveling the world. I feel like I will never be able to do it. Part of the reason is I lack confidence in myself. I don't believe in myself or trust myself that I can do it too. I have always been a scaredy cat and an overthinker, I hate that about myself because it stops me from doing so many things. For moving abroad I'm not 100% sure what scares me the most, whether it's because I don't have an income to do it and I feel, since I've never lived alone, I might fail abroad. I have no clue what jobs I can do. I was never able to finish my college and I'm trying to find a way that I can travel the world and share my experiences too. I feel like my life is slipping away and I'll never be able to see the world. I feel terrified and scared because I feel, I'm not deserving and it scares me to do that big jump. I don't fully trust in myself, I have always struggled with this since I was a little girl. All my life I have let myself down. Sometimes I do believe and I'm like I'm going to do it but then I end up scaring myself with overthinking. I don't know why, I'm so scared and struggle with it. I've ALWAYS wanted, ALWAYS dreamed about traveling the world but I don't have the confidence in myself and I feel like I am paralyzed with it. When I see your videos you make me believe so much, I too can do it. I have to find a way to not only make income abroad but also be able to stay there permanently. I guess my biggest fear would be income. How can I make a good income and continue a life abroad? I also want to stay there as long as I want. To not only have new experiences but also get to know the people and the culture. I want to take my time and don't want to put a timeframe, a restriction of how much time I have to experience, experiences if that makes sense. I want to do it slowly and take my time to get to know, get to find out, explore, find the hidden gems, get to know the locals and experience their traditions and their festivities. And leave when the time is right whenever I feel like I have experienced thoroughly. Of course there will never be enough time to experience everything. I would love to do this permanently, not temporarily. I don't want it to just be a couple months. I want this to be a couple of years or even longer. I dream about the day that I can do what you do and live abroad I make a RUclips video sharing my experiences. I just have to find a way to fully trust myself and believe in myself. That I can do it too. I am worthy too. I need to stop feeling scared and not trusting myself because it's stopping me. Is there any advice you would share with me? I'm hoping to hear yours and anybody else who can share any advice. Thank you in advance and I wish you the best. Im so happy to have discovered you a few days ago. I'm binge watching your videos. Take good care of yourself and I can't wait to see many more of your videos to come. 🩷
The one thing that helps me is determination in changing my circumstances, and you sound pretty determined, too :) I often felt scared but did the thing anyway. Then I realised the thing wasn't as scary. If you let your emotions and brain go wild, it will always find evidence that that thing is scary or impossible. You have to prove your brain wrong by doing the thing :) Start small. Whenever you feel something is too scary, anything, even the smallest thing, get up and do it. And then say, you see brain? It It wasn't too bad :) I have a couple of Insta friends who travel the world teaching English. They do it full time on iTalky. They are also from the US. English is your first language, so you have a massive advantage. This would allow you to get moving, get out there, and see what world has to offer. Start slowly, sign up, and give a few lessons. Maybe take Tefl or Celta course, watch videos about teaching English. And then the world is yours, and once you find enough students, you can start travelling and see where it's going to take you! Good luck! Believe in yourself x
Thank you so much Pati you truly have given me so much insight and motivation to pursue my dreams and not give up. I know it's going to take time and it will be difficult but not impossible. I am going to push through it and not get paralyzed by the fear and try to move away from fear. I can't wait to see many anymore of your videos and continue watching your journey. I wish you the best. Take good care of yourself and I can't wait to see the day you monetize on RUclips because I know you will! 🩷@@PatiTheTimelessTraveller
Loving every video you create Pati ☺ so honest and inspiring to live authentic life ! its hard to make changes as brain creates so many obstacles because of fears. I will say prepare for the change and then do it following your gut or heart. I'm also thinking of finding job in Portugal or Greece! I'd love to hear updates in a future related to your channel growth!😍
Data in analytics don't lie, you need to understand why the people connect with you and you will want to share content which would be more relevant to your audience. The more dedicated niche you develop, the faster your audience will grow. In the beginning you need to add different topics in order to understand what is more popular and what gap there is to fill in the market.
You are so communicative, sociable, well-spoken and optimistic in nature. Bravo!!❤
Proud of you ❤ Always follow your dreams no matter your age
We are defo each other niche! Love all your topics so far and curious to see how this project evolves! Keep us posted! Uściski z Londynu, Kasia
