I can only imagine what actors and actresses must feel and experience when they play roles like “Anna”. It all seems too real, too terrifying, but it is enlightening to watch their work on film as they memorialized their lives on the screen. I have great compassion for individualizes, and their families, plagued by mental illness. It can be overwhelming, overt, greatly misunderstood, debilitating and even seem hopeless. Like any other disease, no one asks for it or wants it. You can’t successfully deal with it alone. Painful to see the suffering … the unrelenting anguish.
