Wouldn't the loads be the same under idle? I don't think I completely get it, but, does changing cases change load? Cause, I mean, if under the same exact load one case runs cooler that means in general it runs cooler. I don't know if I'm making sense or not or if I'm missing something.
@sautel I'm not an expert on air. But firstly I think the lower the temperature is, then the more suseptible it is to the room temperature. I also believe that as heat rises in a case it can increase exponentially depending on its efficiency. Also if none of the parts are producing much heat in the first place then the case doesn't really have much heat to move, the air will naturally cool faster and the parts themselves will be able to cool on their own for the most part. But when there is actually heat being produced there is more air that needs to be transferred. I think one good example is two fridges can get down to the same temperature when completely empty, but one may have more throughput and as it fills up stay comparatively cooler. Don't know if this makes sense but that's how I understand it.
I just built into the H6 flow, this is the 2nd pc I've built since 2020, it's fantastic. Got mostly new parts but used my 3080 from my 2020 build. It's incredibly clean. Great build experience.

I just baughy an h6 case!! I love it! Idles as low as 26c if i run fans at bios auto. Currently im trying complete quiet mode where rpm is bit lower than default starting at 700 rpm and ramp at 45c-72c instead and it's dead quiet when broswing only getting audible for games. I'm not sure which fan curve setup i prefer...im relatively new to temperature monitoring and sometimes it feels like a curse to even care about temps... What would yall recommend for fan curves .. With the h6 case i can bassicaly tell the pc to run at whatever temp i tell it to if im willing to hear it
My 2 cents: I keep the fans as low of an RPM as they’ll go up until 45°. Then I’ll ramp up and have them set to either 55% or 60% speed at 70°. I have Corsair LL120 fans and around 60% is when I start to hear slight fan noise. I hate noise so typically I won’t make them go past 70% or 75% speed. My temps rarely exceeded 75° and usually stay in the 60° to 70° range. I have a Ryzen 5800X3D Cpu which is undervolted. DEFINITELY look up how to undervolt your specific Cpu. It will keep it running cooler at basically the same performance. A cooler Cpu means your fans won’t have to spin as fast which equals a quieter system 🤙 I also use MSI afterburner to undervolt and set a fan curve for my GPU. Further reducing system noise. All of this is pretty easy to do. It might take 2 hours to test And complete. Just RUclips it. Lol
I want a real flow with the front glass removed for a mesh and vertical gpu mount at the front this would be perfect for both cpu rad and gpu to get direct fresh air

H5 is cool with the bottom fan but it would make the already tricky cable management trickier because you have less room in an already cramped mid tower
If I equally idle both pc configs in each case and get a slightly cooler result in the H6, you can infer that running both configs and any equal load% would still yield a slightly cooler result in the same config that was cooler while idling
aslong as there isn’t huge gaps like the phanteks nv5 is a great case but the nv7 looks like shit cause its too big and unless your doing push pull with a thick radiator or watercooling it looks silly as theres a huge empty space above the motherboard have seen some people implement screens there but i think screens in a pc case look dumb unless built into the panel like the new hyte case
Just went from a Corsair 4000d airflow to the h6 and temps dropped drastically. 4000d I'd hit 78-81c on my GPU(3080 ti founders) with the h6 I'm lucky if I hit 72c on a full load.

Right. Great case, horrible review metrics.
