    The whole reason you had high temps is you put no fans in the bottom! Optimum flow would be intake in bottom and side and exhaust out the top and back. Mine with a 12 core, 24 thread cpu under load doesn't get anywhere close to your temps and it's very quiet with better fans and even aggressive fan curve so people don't go by this, it's way way better than shown here. Sorry Leo but you missed out on the possibility of this one big time

      @@Donuts_Donuts_Donuts High end cases should come with high end fans (pwm being a part of that), I have no issue with the case coming with 3 fans, but they should have been pwm. I added 2 more pwm fans to the case, but would have very much preferred if the included fans (a part of the case price) were also pwm. I would have had no issue with the case coming without fans at all, and being significantly cheaper due to that, I would have actually preferred it, but since they are included in the price, I expect them to be pwm.

    The only way to make it efficient is adding more fans, good fans. I managed to get slightly better temperatures compared to the O11D Evo, but that would require all fans spots populated.
    There’s only two criticism I can genuinely make about this case: the bottom fan position is poor. Should’ve been a removable bracket and also some gap between it and the bottom of the case. My T30 can operate only at 30% (2000 rpm mode) to be on the same noise level of the O11D Evo/Phanteks NV7 at 50%. The second one is top radiator clearance. 5mm taller would make a big difference.

    I have this case, 13900K, 4090, and have much better temperatures.
    1. Use the front fan position for the CPU AIO
    2. Make use of the bottom intakes for additional positive pressure and cool air for the gpu
    For my latest upgrade, I am doing push/pull for both the CPU space AIO and a GPU since I don’t want to go with a custom loop.
    I love that this case lets me do push/pull on two 360 radiators (front/top).
    I will admit that the horizontal 30 series 40 series 12whr cable clearance is terrible so you either have to use a third party adapter like a cablemod 90° or 180° adapter, or go vertical

      if you want better GPU temps, you need to install 2/3 fans on bottom of the case and make sure its pulling air (intake position) from outside the case and blowing right into the fans on GPU. Fans on GPU are intake fans that pull air from the case and blow into the heatsinks of GPU.

The fans not being PWM and not being linked is disappointing given the price. The latter is also disappointing for the AIO cooler. Speaking of the cooler, I noticed that while the CPU got very hot, the AIO fluid did not. I think the peak was about 40 degrees. Or was that just an accident of cutting?
    I did notice the lack of grommets. How rounded are the edges of the holes? Will cables catch and wear?
    You commented on the EPS connector: I find that difficult in many cases. Perhaps you might try fitting the EPS cables to the motherboard before fitting it, feed them through the holes from the front, and only afterwards plug them into the PSU?

The market isn't exactly short of 011 clones, even with glass panel meeting glass panel with nowt betwix in white; I'd pick the best priced and executed. Which is unlikely to be the H9 Flow. I like it but it sounds like it’s too thin. My Core X71 has thicker metal…. Damn and you can’t fit a 54mm triple rad on the top. That’s a deal breaker for me. Good video though thank you and I love the look of the case.

    First. That Kraken is ridiculously overpriced for what is just another rebadged Asetek AIO. Considering this looks like new tooling, why would NZXT leave that top so tight between motherboard and AIO - it is clear that most users are going to be installing one in this type of case, so why not make it fit comfortably. This has long been an issue with cases, yet with the proliferation of AIO's so many seem to fail to improve this area. An extra 10mm of height is all it needs , and on that front, it looks like it needs 10mm more width, or a slight reconfiguring of the position of the central tray - looks like they are assuming most people with go with the vertical GPU mount, but for another £75 on top of £170, plus you are going to have to replace those garbage stock fans, it is starting to get very expensive for what is ultimately another 011 clone that doesn't look to be as good as an 011.

      You forgot to mention the O11D Evo comes with 0 fans included and 0 dust filters on the side intake, at roughly the same price as the H9 Flow. The included fans in the H9 Flow do their job just fine.
      I still prefer the H9 Flow as not all of us really care for the O11D Evo features such as inverted/upside down builds and want a clean build without the corner pillar between the glass frames. I like them both but the H9 is better imho.

    • @cosmindinaa
      @cosmindinaa Год назад +1

      @@malphadour Then next time you state it's £170, and then say it's a clone of the O11D Evo, better do your homework. Those fans are better than no fans, and you can sell them anytime if you want to. And you dont need to buy aftermarket side intake filters. Saying H9 Flow is a clone is like saying all cars that came after the 1886 Benz Patent Motor Car are clones. Good luck with that.

    • @malphadour
      @malphadour Год назад

      @@cosmindinaa What homework? It costs £40 more and has rubbish fans that nobody spending that amount of money is going to keep. Stop being a prat. It also isn't as good a case. That also doesn't need homework. Get a life.
