For years NZXT have been well known for their boxy design aesthetic, it was only a matter of time until they came forward with their own implementation of a panoramic glass chassis. The H9 carries a lot of the features we've all grown familiar from cases such as the O11, but it's nice to see that NZXT have simplified their own design and given it a unique touch to make the build process simple, pleasurable and effortless.
The completely perforated side panel is excellent to see, allowing residual heat to be expelled out of the case, also allowing the PSU to breath freely. Every vented panel in the case carries it's own removable mesh filter which is great to see. One of my personal favourite features has to be the way NZXT have added their signature iconic cable management bar and also placed a clear window on the front side of it... giving unrestricted viewing access right through the case. Nice!
For both of these builds I really wanted to play to their strengths. The Flow would be ideally suited for an air cooled setup, or a liquid cooled system with high temperature hardware. The Elite on the other hand does have more restricted airflow, but through my limited testing so far temperatures have been well within reason, even with the i9 13900K & RTX 4090 thanks to the huge amount of air being drawn through the bottom and side!
Why did I place so many fans in the air cooled setup, you ask? The answer is in the video during the airflow visualization. The top fans are running at a slower speed to the CPU cooler and the exhaust fan, meaning they are able to expel residual heat from the case without depriving the cooler of air.

The visuals for the intake and exhaust are cool
I love the trend with motherboards being all covered up, it's so much cleaner looking and I would assume that it's for thermals meaning it's a positive in both aesthetics and performance!

I really like covered-up boards as well. Hoping AM5 matures as I really want to go on that platform, but the N7 B650E is too expensive for my budget, and I value aesthetics.
definitely and they could use thermal pads to use the whole thing as passive cooler too for the chipsets , M2 Nvme etc...

Yes, a couple differences but I love that I got to see how clean that vertical mount is in the elite compared to the other case I didn’t spend a hundred dollars more on... I went black for the elite. The top panel of this case is made of glass, and there are fine air holes next to it, but I think the glass gets in the way and makes it difficult to get the heat out straight and fast. Many people overseas use simple water cooling on the top, but it is easier to lower the temperature inside the pc if you put it on the side, which is what I have done.
