    Honestly its quite refreshing seeing a streamer/youtuber that actually knows how to build a PC. I can't tell you how stressful it is to watch some of the others "build" their rigs and fail miserably. This was a great video and nice build, even if those parts are grossly over priced ;)
    Also, RAM is easy, generally if you only have 2 sticks and 4 slots, you go from CPU socket > Miss > Insert RAM > Miss > Insert RAM. This is generally the set up, even for Intel or AMD.
    And that thermal paste application is fine, though not needed. It is a little much but that has been proven to not matter. I generally use a pea sized dot or draw an X symbol for CPU's that are a little bigger.

    • @georgesmith5201
      @georgesmith5201 8 месяцев назад

      @@gamblerfls It's not difficult for people like us, but I can understand why most people find it difficult or intimidating. Compatibility, the fact that DDR5 doesn't work with certain motherboards, but it works with CPUs that work with those motherboards. Knowing what types of CPUs fit in certain sockets; even if it fits it may not work and you need a BIOs update. Even simple things like aligning the CPU correctly (little triangle symbol), remembering to remove stickers from SSD. Fan alignment. Knowing what's the appropriate PSU to use, where the wires go. Power, reset, ect wire orientations. Being careful to not tighten your screws too much on the motherboard. It's sort of a lot to keep track of for regular people and the technology is fast changing.

    For the fan question: if you can put it along the rigid parts of the fans, on the edges, you should be totally okay. But definitely dont put it anywhere it will rest on the center or support arms of the fans, that gpu is super heavy and might bend that plastic/cause the fans to grind

      @NoisyButters this might be a ridiculous amount of effort, but I've always wanted to get a 3d printed statue of something to support my GPU. I have a 7900 XTX in my build and the sag bracket right now just looks boring. I might 3D print black panther or something and get an artistic friend to paint it so I can use it as a support bracket. Something like that would be awesome if you could find a way! Just an idea.

    While watching you build your PC, I got excited, too. You're a natural PC builder, and the video is excellent. I have a few suggestions. An overhead-mounted video camera would have been a wonderful addition. Incorporating a monitor into your video would allow the viewers to see that the BIOS is loaded. Pre-installing your copy of the WIN 11 operating system on the installed SSD would be a nice feature. You could edit the installation, as that would be a waste of time. Seeing the WIN desktop would confirm that your PC is ready for game playing.

I used the one that came with the ASUS RTX 4070ti Super and used it ontop of the PSU cover in the Corsair 570X PC case. It was a little too much so I loosend it because the head width wasn't needed. Just putting this out there, you can get colourful cables for your power supply by cable mod, and they also make right angled connectors to reduce the stress on the 12VHPR connector because of the issues with it melting and setting on fire etc. but make sure they’re for your power supply and you can make your own in whatever colour you like for any cable. They’re not cheap but from the looks of things price isn’t a huge concern lmao
