For the fan question: if you can put it along the rigid parts of the fans, on the edges, you should be totally okay. But definitely dont put it anywhere it will rest on the center or support arms of the fans, that gpu is super heavy and might bend that plastic/cause the fans to grind
thats what i was thinkin, thank u so much!!! im still gonna think about other ways to support this gpu, im sure the right method will come to mind randomly! ~
@NoisyButters this might be a ridiculous amount of effort, but I've always wanted to get a 3d printed statue of something to support my GPU. I have a 7900 XTX in my build and the sag bracket right now just looks boring. I might 3D print black panther or something and get an artistic friend to paint it so I can use it as a support bracket. Something like that would be awesome if you could find a way! Just an idea.
The flip the fans situation was hillarious xD That's an amazing build by the way. I like this kind of videos where people just shows the process as they go. The support for the GPU is perfect, I had the two types and I much prefer the one that is just a pilar at the end.
While watching you build your PC, I got excited, too. You're a natural PC builder, and the video is excellent. I have a few suggestions. An overhead-mounted video camera would have been a wonderful addition. Incorporating a monitor into your video would allow the viewers to see that the BIOS is loaded. Pre-installing your copy of the WIN 11 operating system on the installed SSD would be a nice feature. You could edit the installation, as that would be a waste of time. Seeing the WIN desktop would confirm that your PC is ready for game playing.
The device that is on top of the bottom case fan straigtening the GPU is a mini Screwdriver also. I used the one that came with the ASUS RTX 4070ti Super and used it ontop of the PSU cover in the Corsair 570X PC case. It was a little too much so I loosend it because the head width wasn't needed. Pulled it out of the cylinder and the cross tip screwdriver was at the other end. Nice Build. You have come far since last time I saw You, in college posting RUclips content. Cheers!
You're gonna absolutely love this machine once you get into the swing of things, in terms of its power. Recently built my own high-end, the only difference is I got the 7900 xtx. Name it The Iceberg, because you've got so much potential to discover. Or Titanic
