You're welcome, more to come on this vehicle soon.
How’s the GLS450 doing ? Any issues pop up ?
I have the exact same year and model with 59k miles on the odometer. It was making a clunking noise and the dealer told me it needed the transmission mount and both engine mounts ($3k) replaced. I couldn’t believe it. That’s way too early for the mounts to fail. I got it fixed (covered under the extended warranty) but I’m trading it in for Lexus TX
The GLS soldiers on, unscathed except for a trip or two to the paint & body shop...not the car's fault. I did recently perform the first repair on it (at 94K miles), I had to replace one of the suspension airbags in the rear, but couldn't get set up to video at the time. It's a simple job and I'll be sure to shoot video when I do the other side eventually.
@@pinkcaddygarage267 oh nice thank you ! Any other info on it would be helpful
This is awesome. Glad I found your channel.
I’m going to look at a 1995 Mitsubishi JB500 Camper van next week.
It’s listed for $15,000. He says it runs great minus the instrument cluster not being functional.
Anything you suggest I look for? I assume sourcing parts is going to be difficult?
Thanks for reading. Cheers.
Since this is my first encounter with one, I’d hate to position myself as any kind of expert. Maybe someone else will chime in.
Thanks for the video! I'm trying to do my transmission fluid soon. Do you guys have a 5 speed or automatic?
Automatic, editing that video now.
How nice. A garage with a lift to work on your cars.
You said it. I think this is the first video we've done since installing the lift. At my age crawling around underneath and trying to shoot video wasn't much fun. We will do a video in the future relating to the lift specifically, costs, installation, etc.
