Product idea for Hourglass: Curator face pallet. Basically same what they've done with their eyeshadows, but a face pallet. You get to choose your pallet pattern and what to fill it with like your shade of the powder, blush, bronzer and highlighter or perhaps you want an only blush or highlighter pallet. If to make it a perfection would be lovely to have a choice between 4 and 6 refill pallets😊
I was able to go online before they took the link down. 1 less thing for you to worry about....there are only 3 Hourglass color stories, not 4! 😜 4 art works (owl, jellyfish, leopard and snake), but 3 color stories. And they're allowing you to customize them this year as well!! The price has increased this year - $90 and £85 (not a 100% sure on the £) Hope this helps! 😊
With the owl palette, can you pick any shades from any of the 3 color stories? Or is it only letting you pick just a whole color palette? Example if I wanted all blushes in the owl palette?
@@littlewildflower578so when I tried, the "customization" consisted of 2 options. First you picked the color story (called COLOR PALETTE - 1/2/3). Then the art work (named Owl/Leopard/Jellyfish/Snake) Long story short - you could only pick the entire pre-defined color story 😒 It is possible that they were still working on it, seeing as how it wasn't supposed to be released today anyway....but TBH, I highly doubt they would ever let us pick each shade 🤷♀️🙅♀️ We can always hope!! 🤞🤞
I don't own hourglass powders so I may be wrong, but aren't those baked in the palette? Or do they have metal pans? Anyway, I think custom palettes would be great, although more as a permanent thing, not a holiday release. Then again, if they had that system, holiday cases would be cool! That's a whole enterprise though, so I'm not holding my breath for at least a couple of years, since that would both require a LOT of planning, design, time AND Hourglass listening to their customers right away. Might take a minute 😅
@@alicjak1887 lol, definitely agree with that. I see them maybe doing a customizable 3 pan at most...but could you imagine the time it would take to customize everyone's order of the 6 pans. PLUS people would probably end up just buying 1....this way, you have some people buying the entire palette just cause they liked 1 blush in there!! No way Hourglass (or any other company) is gonna be willing to lose all that cash
I am so excited for the hourglass pallets. The jellyfish is definitely coming home with me and I’m hoping that the owl will be more on the pale neutral side of things. It’s probably going to be the prettiest one, since it’s the exclusive. And I hate to say this, and I know it’s going to be an unpopular opinion, but I am an ancient historian by profession, and as much as inclusivity can be a beautiful thing, it can also cause stasis in societies. I really wish that these brands were not being brow beat into stasis. Part of what makes Asian beauty so beautiful is that they are allowed to target the market that they want to. I wish all make up brands had the freedom to do that. We have some incredible brands like Pat, McGrath, Juvia’s place, Fenti, Danessa Myricks, etc that really hit the deep tone market. And the quality rivals hourglass, Dior, And the other brands that used to be able to create stunning make up for pale skin. Stasis comes in when we now have brands that make pallets and products that can appeal to most people but the people on the outer edges that are very light or very dark have nothing for them.
All the brands you listed are inclusive and make products for all skin tones, not just deeper skin. In what year did Julia's Place have the same quality as Hourglass/Dior. The Asian market overall has a different population than the US, they don't need to be inclusive because they worship being pale. Specifically HG wants to pick and choose when they want to be inclusive, they make base products for deeper tones, hence why they get so much pushback, be all the way inclusive or not. If companies v want to compete in the US, they really need to determine their target market and stay there! Fenty, Pat McGrath, Danessa Myricks have colors for ALL, yet they are a minority owner company. I understand what you are saying, but history is not representative of our current world and it will continue to change with more interracial relationships. Once the people at the head of these companies start to look representative of the US, change will occur.
@@MyCrownstar you missed my point entirely. Brands should have the freedom to cater to who they want regardless of demographics. If you look at Charlotte Tilbury, before she was pressured into submission, her make up really did cater towards women that had similar coloring to her. I can’t wear a lot of it, but I am certainly glad it exists for all the redheads and women with pale peachy undertones out there. Hourglass is a brand that is now in stasis because they were browbeat into inclusivity. It’s pretty obvious that they are doing it because of cancel culture and not because they actually want to. It is a brand that many really pale skin women loved, and now we can’t really buy it. There would be zero issues by anyone if there were black brands that said they were only going to make make up for dark skinned people. I personally would support that. We would have a revolution and revival of the makeup industry if brands could pick their target market based on age, race and sex. The brands that I mentioned, I specifically said “used to be”. And now they are going into stasis as well. History repeats, with precision. We can look at how forced inclusivity is actually dangerous to ALL people by taking a look back through history. Even our earliest a Sumerian and Northern Egyptian civilizations. The uncomfortable reality is, they go into stasis and fall because culture and ancestral connections are extremely important to the human psyche. We should all be able to live with one another and not try to melt together. Create a true multicultural experience. The restaurant industry is a great example.
Breakdown of the Leopard palette since I noticed a lot of repeats: ●Dim light- permanent shade ●Celestrial strobe light- found in Butterfly, Blush and glow, and Sculpt and Set palettes ●Mood Exposure- permanent shade, found in Sculpture palette ●Iridescent rose- found in Ghost and Tiger palette ●Ethereal Flush- NEW ●Lustrous Bronze Light- found in elephant palette I hope this helps out. I own the Elephant, Butterfly, and Sculpture palettes so I already own 4 of the shades in Leopard.
I don't own any hourglass paletes yet, but I just ordered the Leopard (in owl packaging). I'm hoping I love it! I have fair skin so I'm a bit worried about the bronzer shade, but hopefully I will find a use for all the powders :) ❤
I need to declutter my tiger palette from last year, but I can’t make myself throw it away, it’s so pretty and weighty! How amazing would it be if they just sold us refills?!
I don’t pick up Nars palettes for the excitement. I pick up their products for their ease of use. I will buy a Nars palette every couple of years. Yes, they are all relatively the same. The formula is thin and works well on my mature skin. Sidenote: I held off on buying an Hourglass palette for several years. They release similar palettes every year. Most people are super excited about the release, even though they buy one every year.
I honestly don't think that most people buy the Hourglass palettes every year. I own one, and it's the quad they released in 2020. I am still excited every year because they are beautiful. I want them all every year, but I don't buy them because they are too similar to what I own. The big difference with NARS, I think, is that they don't put any effort on the packaging, either. (Besides quality, I have no idea of the NARS quality).
Same here. I have combo-oil and live in humid climate. I think Nars have amazing formula. I didn't pick up last year's holiday release bec it was very saturated, but it was definitely beautiful and suitable for tan-deep skin tones. This year seems very good for light med-tan/deep. I'm excited for this one! Plus, the packaging isn't their usual rubber finish, so no sticky covers 😆
I usually save your videos to watch at night, but when I saw the hourglass palettes in the thumbnail I couldn’t stay away! Owl and jellyfish for me 🥰 can’t deal with the snake 🥺 even at cost of missing out on some beautiful new shades 🥺 ok now saving rest of video for later 😂😘

I'm terrified of snakes! So for the first time ever, my first thought on new Hourglass palette was NOOOOO. I just hope they let us choose the packaging like last time. I will not have a snake in my collection 😂
I'll probably get 2 of them but definitely the snake since 5 of the shades are new. I'm pretty sure the owl is not a separate pallet, it's an extra option for customization from what Ive heard
I liked the Hourglass holiday palettes much more from last year, because those genuinely looked like three different variations. When I look at the ones from this year I just see pink on top of pink. Honestly bit hard to tell the difference across variations. The outer packaging choices are really cool I will give them that.
Drat! I have two of the blushes in the jaguar palette. But why two powders? I have those too. Maybe they'll give us a choice to mix and match like last year. After buying 2 of last year's Cle de Peau highlighters, they own me. They are just so versatile. They soften and blend the bronzers and blushes I wear. Plus, I use them on my eyes, with a crease shade and liner for a quick, shimmery eye look. I'm glad you'll be reviewing the Guerlain. I can't figure out how to get a good look from those eye colors. Those Meteorites look like the regular "Light" shade. I don't have that one. But I hate the scent. I like that deep lip color. I'm skipping the Chanel glass lipper. None of the shades excite me. And the formula feathers, for those of us who have that issue(I checked with my SA). Neither Nars nor ABH interest me. Thanks for the video. I was dying to see these. Have a lovely trip!💚
Idk if any of these beat last year's Tiger palette. Those blushes (pink, orange, copper) were so varied and beautiful! Also FWIW Dim Light is what I use as a medium complexion.
I hate snakes too! I live in Arizona and see rattlesnakes all the time! It’s terrifying. BUT the pale blue background is so gorgeous! Thankfully it’s too deep for my complexion so it’s a pass.
When I lived in mountains of NC I saw them a lot. I handled it. I don’t know why the last few years I have a full on phobia. Last Oct I walked into my kitchen without my contacts and saw what I thought was my thin black belt that had fallen off my coat. The weather had just turned cool and my coat was draped over the chair above the so called belt. I walked over to pick it up and I have no idea why but at about 5 feet I stopped. All of a sudden it raised its head. I was holding my little maltese and have a stepstool in a corner. I sat on it and called my husband. I wasn’t going to take my eyes off of it. I have never in 26 years called him up to tell him to come home but I said I don’t care what you’re doing get home. Somewhere I said snake. I wasn’t yelling more of that whisper yell. The snake was very thin, black and long. It had been basking in the sun in front of my bay window. It put its head back down and went back to not moving. 5 minutes before Mike got home it slithered into that tiny little crack where the dishwasher slides in. At some point since my phone was in my hand I had looked up some snake handler person and left a message. He called back and said it was the cool weather and that the way he left was probably the way he came in. My husband is still accusing me of leaving the garage door open while bringing in the groceries. Mike got home 5 minutes later, gets the lay of the land and then says I’m hungry. I’m going to get something to eat. All this time I was sitting on that stool holding Oliver. I still sat there forever after he left. To this day I can’t walk into my kitchen without seeing the whole thing in my head. I’m probably not in danger of a heart attack because it would have happened that day. When I called my son later and told him he wanted to know what color. I don’t care if it was purple I can’t handle a snake. Please don’t comment about all the good black snakes do. I understand. We have 8 miles of walking trails in my neighborhood that goes around this stream. I always watch out for snakes but I was looking at the ground. The day someone posted a pic on fb of one wrapped around a low hanging tree branch I haven’t walked the trail except in cold weather. Luckily when I saw the inside of that snake palette I thought it looked too dark for my NC25 med light skin.

Lexi Jong did a review of new reformulated meteorites and she confirmed that holiday edition is new reformulated 02. So it doesn’t look exactly the same as old 02. I’m actually super excited about that one! I’m very interested in review on Paco Rabanne (although I think it’s not available in Canada) - hope you will find it in Paris! Have a great trip!

Hi Sofia I’m definitely getting the Lepoard and although I don’t like jellyfish when I’m in the ocean but they are elegant and unique so I can handle it in a pallet but absolutely NO on the snake. Yikes! omg. CDP. Yes.. so pretty. I’m in Las Vegas and I’m going to Nordstrom and I’m so excited because I don’t have one near where I live. I had a eight hour flight trip today so yes I’m watching you. But 1am on my body time. Xo 💖💄👄it’s a no on the Anastasia. Too dark. Guerlain yes. But we want new color inside. Ugh. But I’m buying it anyway.
I have the HG quad pallette from a few years ago. I think it's getting a little dry. Do they expire? The jaguar one is the most similar. 4 face powders is fine. I think they should give the other 2 pans to light and deep eyeshadows, a la Charlotte Tilbury face pallettes. Also, with all the talk about inclusivity, when a brand goes deep toned (ABH) some people say "what are they doing with that color story?" Well, this time it's not for the "faint of tone".
The CDP lipstick looks really pretty and that case is gorgeous - hoping you pick up at least one for us. As for the Hourglass, I say you pick up one that you know you will use for review. I know this is your business, but we are loyal fans and don't need you to pick up ones that will go unused. I know it would be a shipping nightmare, but too bad we can't pick the colours we want to fit into the 6pan palette. I still have one from many years ago (I caved to the hype) and it goes pretty much unused.
I think I’ll pick up ABH and CDP quad. I was on the fence about the Gucci concealer but I have 5 in rotation so I’m going to pass. I’m kinda interested in the Paco eyeshadow.
i love jellyfish but am disappointed about the 2 finishing powders because I never use them. I only have the elephant palette so i’m torn if i should buy leopard or jellyfish.
I gotta say, that ABH palette has my attention. I'm very fair like you, and I KNOW this will look so dark on my skin tone but geez it's pretty looking. I think I may take the plunge . . . love their formula so that kinda tips the scales.
Clé de peau packaging gets me badly. Guérison meteorite has been reformulated recently and this one released in special packaging. It seems that color is a bit lighter and more champagne color than older version. I like the hour glass package of last year better. 😅
I'm hoping I like the Hourglass Owl palette, I love 🦉 otherwise I'm loving the tiger palette. Looking forward to Dior new releases they right up my alley. I'll be picking up the Guerlain meteorites as ive never tried these before, looking forward to seeing reviews on the palette. I was hoping they would do something a bit different, they look similar to all the previous years palettes.... and I hate when they include existing shades :(
Like your reviews and these videos help me decide too. I'm leaning more towards the hourglass palettes- python and jelly fish. The ABH is a total pass for me reminds me of viseart petite pro paris palette with a touch of lilac shade in abh. I think the Guerlain eyeshadow is still a maybe for me not so convinced with the matte looking plum. Would have loved to see a satin plum to work with that satin green.
I love the jellyfish and the owl packaging. (But I really think they are all beautiful) I have zero hourglass powders right so…I may get two of the palettes! After seeing the insides I’m definitely getting the Jellyfish. And if the owl is nice inside, I’d get that one too! The Anastasia palette shades scream fall. The mattes are so, so dark. I saw a review on someone who has darker skin than mine and it was too dark for her. It would not work for me at all. But I’m sure it will be lovely for folks with darker complexions. I’m sad the Guerlain Ombres G is again not baked shades. I loved their original formulas. But if it works well I may get it anyway because I like the shades and GREEN! I’m interested in the Rabanne eyeshadows! They look so interesting!
Hi Sofia. I completely understand why the Chanel lipstick is a pass. As someone who has a decade on you ❤ and totally trusts your reviews what I’m really keen on is the claims on how this lipstick helps plump and smooth your lips. That is something that is interesting for me but only in a nude colour as then I’m sure I would actually get enough use out of it x
Hmmmm, the Meteorites don't look like the existing shade to me. I own shade 02, and when I compare the photo to mine, I can tell that mine has bright green ballz, and the pink ballz in mine seem to be darker as well, so overall it looks more colorful than what's in the photo. Granted, I heard they are reformulating the Meteorites, so maybe this is just the new formulation of the shade 02. So excited for the Hourglass palettes - I'd love to see your review and comparison of the Jellyfish and the Leopard palettes (please let us know your foundation shade! It can be hard to tell the skin tone from a video).
I’m a freak who doesn’t have any hourglass powders and have weird feelings about the brand, but as soon as I saw that owl I was sold!! Guerlain, I will fight until death to get the Meteorites. If I don’t i will cry 😭😭

As for Fall Romance ... at first I thought meh, too much dark. But as I continue to look at it I'm thinking it's almost the grunge version of Modern Renaissance, So, yes I think I'd like to see you review it :-)
So, of the 3 Hourglass palettes that have been teased, only jellyfish would work for my skin tone. But the bronzer and highlighter look so dark. And two pink blushes… I love Hourglass products and this package is stunning. But I hope the Owl will work - I adore that packaging. Why on earth can’t Hourglass just make a fully customizable 6 pan!!!
Despite also being terrified of jellyfish, I think it's by far the most beautiful of the palettes and I actually kinda love the somewhat creepy vibes 😂 I might actually end ip getting it. Despite also being a cat lady, I'm just not as into the leopard (? cheetah?) packaging. I love the owl, though. And the snake. But thankfully I'm not quite enough of a fool to buy more than one 😅
I bought last year's Hourglass I have Nars I have enough blush I can't cram anymore in . I'm a maybe on the ABH pallette. As far as concealers at my age I find Huda is the only one that doesn't crease ❤

The uncomfortable reality is, they go into stasis and fall because culture and ancestral connections are extremely important to the human psyche. We should all be able to live with one another and not try to melt together. Create a true multicultural experience. The restaurant industry is a great example.
Breakdown of the Leopard palette since I noticed a lot of repeats:
●Dim light- permanent shade
●Celestrial strobe light- found in Butterfly, Blush and glow, and Sculpt and Set palettes
●Mood Exposure- permanent shade, found in Sculpture palette
●Iridescent rose- found in Ghost and Tiger palette
●Ethereal Flush- NEW
●Lustrous Bronze Light- found in elephant palette
I hope this helps out. I own the Elephant, Butterfly, and Sculpture palettes so I already own 4 of the shades in Leopard.

I don't own any hourglass paletes yet, but I just ordered the Leopard (in owl packaging). I'm hoping I love it! I have fair skin so I'm a bit worried about the bronzer shade, but hopefully I will find a use for all the powders :) ❤

I need to declutter my tiger palette from last year, but I can’t make myself throw it away, it’s so pretty and weighty! How amazing would it be if they just sold us refills?!
I don’t pick up Nars palettes for the excitement. I pick up their products for their ease of use. I will buy a Nars palette every couple of years. Yes, they are all relatively the same. The formula is thin and works well on my mature skin. Sidenote: I held off on buying an Hourglass palette for several years. They release similar palettes every year. Most people are super excited about the release, even though they buy one every year.
I honestly don't think that most people buy the Hourglass palettes every year. I own one, and it's the quad they released in 2020. I am still excited every year because they are beautiful. I want them all every year, but I don't buy them because they are too similar to what I own. The big difference with NARS, I think, is that they don't put any effort on the packaging, either. (Besides quality, I have no idea of the NARS quality).
Same here. I have combo-oil and live in humid climate. I think Nars have amazing formula. I didn't pick up last year's holiday release bec it was very saturated, but it was definitely beautiful and suitable for tan-deep skin tones. This year seems very good for light med-tan/deep. I'm excited for this one! Plus, the packaging isn't their usual rubber finish, so no sticky covers 😆
I usually save your videos to watch at night, but when I saw the hourglass palettes in the thumbnail I couldn’t stay away! Owl and jellyfish for me 🥰 can’t deal with the snake 🥺 even at cost of missing out on some beautiful new shades 🥺 ok now saving rest of video for later 😂😘

The new ABH fall palette looks like an extended version of the Givenchy quad. I'm very excited for the ABH palette as I'm very into smoky deep eyes with a paler shimmery lip...plus I adore the formula from Nouveau and Rose Metals (and can even see pairing them together like companion palettes. I'm terrified of snakes! So for the first time ever, my first thought on new Hourglass palette was NOOOOO. I just hope they let us choose the packaging like last time. I will not have a snake in my collection 😂

I liked the Hourglass holiday palettes much more from last year, because those genuinely looked like three different variations. When I look at the ones from this year I just see pink on top of pink. Honestly bit hard to tell the difference across variations. The outer packaging choices are really cool I will give them that.
Drat! I have two of the blushes in the jaguar palette. But why two powders? I have those too. Maybe they'll give us a choice to mix and match like last year. After buying 2 of last year's Cle de Peau highlighters, they own me. They are just so versatile. They soften and blend the bronzers and blushes I wear. Plus, I use them on my eyes, with a crease shade and liner for a quick, shimmery eye look. I'm glad you'll be reviewing the Guerlain. I can't figure out how to get a good look from those eye colors. Those Meteorites look like the regular "Light" shade. I don't have that one. But I hate the scent. I like that deep lip color. I'm skipping the Chanel glass lipper. None of the shades excite me. And the formula feathers, for those of us who have that issue(I checked with my SA). Neither Nars nor ABH interest me. Thanks for the video. I was dying to see these. Have a lovely trip!💚

Idk if any of these beat last year's Tiger palette. Those blushes (pink, orange, copper) were so varied and beautiful! Also FWIW Dim Light is what I use as a medium complexion.
I love the formula of the Nars square pans but Im not tempted by the holiday release. The Bobbi Brown Luxe eyeshadow formula is so underrated!
The jellyfish isn’t the one I’m terrified of. It’s the snake. I am praying they let you pick out the palette separately. I just can’t do the snake.

I hate snakes too! I live in Arizona and see rattlesnakes all the time! It’s terrifying. BUT the pale blue background is so gorgeous! Thankfully it’s too deep for my complexion so it’s a pass.
When I lived in mountains of NC I saw them a lot. I handled it. I don’t know why the last few years I have a full on phobia. Last Oct I walked into my kitchen without my contacts and saw what I thought was my thin black belt that had fallen off my coat. The weather had just turned cool and my coat was draped over the chair above the so called belt. I walked over to pick it up and I have no idea why but at about 5 feet I stopped. All of a sudden it raised its head. I was holding my little maltese and have a stepstool in a corner. I sat on it and called my husband. I wasn’t going to take my eyes off of it. I have never in 26 years called him up to tell him to come home but I said I don’t care what you’re doing get home. Somewhere I said snake. I wasn’t yelling more of that whisper yell. The snake was very thin, black and long. It had been basking in the sun in front of my bay window. It put its head back down and went back to not moving. 5 minutes before Mike got home it slithered into that tiny little crack where the dishwasher slides in. At some point since my phone was in my hand I had looked up some snake handler person and left a message. He called back and said it was the cool weather and that the way he left was probably the way he came in. My husband is still accusing me of leaving the garage door open while bringing in the groceries. Mike got home 5 minutes later, gets the lay of the land and then says I’m hungry. I’m going to get something to eat. All this time I was sitting on that stool holding Oliver. I still sat there forever after he left. To this day I can’t walk into my kitchen without seeing the whole thing in my head. I’m probably not in danger of a heart attack because it would have happened that day. When I called my son later and told him he wanted to know what color. I don’t care if it was purple I can’t handle a snake. Please don’t comment about all the good black snakes do. I understand. We have 8 miles of walking trails in my neighborhood that goes around this stream. I always watch out for snakes but I was looking at the ground. The day someone posted a pic on fb of one wrapped around a low hanging tree branch I haven’t walked the trail except in cold weather. Luckily when I saw the inside of that snake palette I thought it looked too dark for my NC25 med light skin.

Lexi Jong did a review of new reformulated meteorites and she confirmed that holiday edition is new reformulated 02. So it doesn’t look exactly the same as old 02. I’m actually super excited about that one! I’m very interested in review on Paco Rabanne (although I think it’s not available in Canada) - hope you will find it in Paris! Have a great trip!

Hi Sofia I’m definitely getting the Lepoard and although I don’t like jellyfish when I’m in the ocean but they are elegant and unique so I can handle it in a pallet but absolutely NO on the snake. Yikes! omg. CDP. Yes.. so pretty. I’m in Las Vegas and I’m going to Nordstrom and I’m so excited because I don’t have one near where I live. I had a eight hour flight trip today so yes I’m watching you. But 1am on my body time. Xo 💖💄👄it’s a no on the Anastasia. Too dark. Guerlain yes. But we want new color inside. Ugh. I have the HG quad pallette from a few years ago. I think it's getting a little dry. Do they expire? The jaguar one is the most similar. 4 face powders is fine. I think they should give the other 2 pans to light and deep eyeshadows, a la Charlotte Tilbury face pallettes.
Also, with all the talk about inclusivity, when a brand goes deep toned (ABH) some people say "what are they doing with that color story?" Well, this time it's not for the "faint of tone".

As for the Hourglass, I say you pick up one that you know you will use for review. I know this is your business, but we are loyal fans and don't need you to pick up ones that will go unused. I know it would be a shipping nightmare, but too bad we can't pick the colours we want to fit into the 6pan palette. I still have one from many years ago (I caved to the hype) and it goes pretty much unused.

i love jellyfish but am disappointed about the 2 finishing powders because I never use them. I only have the elephant palette so i’m torn if i should buy leopard or jellyfish.
I gotta say, that ABH palette has my attention. I'm very fair like you, and I KNOW this will look so dark on my skin tone but geez it's pretty looking. I think I may take the plunge . . . love their formula so that kinda tips the scales.

Clé de peau packaging gets me badly. Guérison meteorite has been reformulated recently and this one released in special packaging. It seems that color is a bit lighter and more champagne color than older version. I like the hour glass package of last year better. 😅
I'm hoping I like the Hourglass Owl palette, I love 🦉 otherwise I'm loving the tiger palette. Looking forward to Dior new releases they right up my alley. I'll be picking up the Guerlain meteorites as ive never tried these before, looking forward to seeing reviews on the palette. Like your reviews and these videos help me decide too. I'm leaning more towards the hourglass palettes- python and jelly fish. The ABH is a total pass for me reminds me of viseart petite pro paris palette with a touch of lilac shade in abh. I think the Guerlain eyeshadow is still a maybe for me not so convinced with the matte looking plum. Would have loved to see a satin plum to work with that satin green.

The Anastasia palette shades scream fall. The mattes are so, so dark. I saw a review on someone who has darker skin than mine and it was too dark for her. It would not work for me at all. But I’m sure it will be lovely for folks with darker complexions.
I’m sad the Guerlain Ombres G is again not baked shades. I loved their original formulas. But if it works well I may get it anyway because I like the shades and GREEN!

Hi Sofia. I completely understand why the Chanel lipstick is a pass. As someone who has a decade on you ❤ and totally trusts your reviews what I’m really keen on is the claims on how this lipstick helps plump and smooth your lips. That is something that is interesting for me but only in a nude colour as then I’m sure I would actually get enough use out of it x
Hmmmm, the Meteorites don't look like the existing shade to me. I own shade 02, and when I compare the photo to mine, I can tell that mine has bright green ballz, and the pink ballz in mine seem to be darker as well, so overall it looks more colorful than what's in the photo. Granted, I heard they are reformulating the Meteorites, so maybe this is just the new formulation of the shade 02. So excited for the Hourglass palettes - I'd love to see your review and comparison of the Jellyfish and the Leopard palettes (please let us know your foundation shade! It can be hard to tell the skin tone from a video).
I’m a freak who doesn’t have any hourglass powders and have weird feelings about the brand, but as soon as I saw that owl I was sold!! Guerlain, I will fight until death to get the Meteorites. If I don’t i will cry 😭😭

So, of the 3 Hourglass palettes that have been teased, only jellyfish would work for my skin tone. But the bronzer and highlighter look so dark. And two pink blushes… I love Hourglass products and this package is stunning. But I hope the Owl will work - I adore that packaging. Why on earth can’t Hourglass just make a fully customizable 6 pan!!!

I bought last year's Hourglass I have Nars I have enough blush I can't cram anymore in . I'm a maybe on the ABH pallette. As far as concealers at my age I find Huda is the only one that doesn't crease ❤
