This is a perfect video to show people who buy a new sled that they need to take it in after 500 miles for service. Every snowmobile manufacturer tells you to bring your sled in for service after 500 miles so they can check over the sled and address any issues. Your videos are great and always a good laugh. Keep up the good work and beer drinking.

The skidoo backcountry top wheels are loose like that to atleast on the 2021. They have the same setup on top wheels with the collar with the set screw. I loosen the set screw and push the collar over against the wheel seam to take up the play. My 2022 the upper wheels are tighter but still have little play. But the skidoo's have the cmotion suspension where it tilts side to side.

Sled would get used maybe 6-10 weeks out of the year. The apex seems to be the most bang for the buck. I can get a nice one for around $4500 coming from old early 90's sleds this would be a big upgrade to me. I have a 2023 Indy and a 2022 Indy and Polaris fixed the 2023 before it was delivered and the fix is a stainless plate between the stator and the gas tank, so says my salesman. The 2022 looks identical except for the paint scheme and Polaris tells me that there is no recall on that sled. It will be interesting to see if the recall works.

The fix is replacing a few metal parts in the tank with plastic. Jesse James on RUclips had a video showing the fix kit.

Polaris has seemed to have horrific problems ever since the POS Fusion came out. Ur hard on ski-doo's,, in my opinion Polaris has dropped the ball a wee bit more

Interesting they routed the exhaust that close to the brake rotor. If that is a catalytic converter, that will be super hot and will heat soak the rotor. Can someone comment on this?

That was the muffler. An aftermarket one. There's no cats on a 2 stroke snowmobile

Saw a Polaris documentary on RUclips that said the Fusion broke sled sales records for Polaris and helped to save the company not ruin it. Still the Fusion has a bad rap. Maybe there were so many made that a lot of them were abused and blew up.
