2003 F7 Gets a Custom Wrap And Some Dangle Mods!!!

- I'm lovin my new to me 03 F7 but it needs some love in the handling department and a bit of a face lift! so I fix the loose front end and put a custom wrap from my buddy @nickdartdesigns and it looks wicked now!! I also make some changes to the rear skid setup so she'll Dangle the skis a bit higher too! 😎🍻

That sled looks freaking sweet. I remember the old wildcat's would start dancing at top speed as soon as you let off, the only solution was to get back on it

I just added an 1 1/4 136 track to my Jag, changed some bearings on my skid, added new hyfax, then drilled 1.5mm in 3's every 6 inches at an angle to catch snow then greased before installation. Does pretty well for low snow conditions so far 0 complaints its very reliable tough daily driving work sled👍
Turned out awesome that thing rips.! Nice pointers on adjusting the Skees .! I have a 2005 500 Sabercat but definitely looking into the 2003 f7 nice work man.!

Love the f7 content! I have the exact same sled. Mine used to have steering issues also. I’m going to have to check for that toolkit, never knew about that. I got a new to me Polaris this year. And my 13 year old has the cat.
Besides the beer talk, I also like the mechanics involved in fixing a sled. The ski alignment to the rear track, 👍👍. Much appreciated.

Sled looks great, nice job, and she does dangle! I bought a brand new 06 F6 back in the day. To date, best sled I've ever owned. Only thing it really needed was aftermarket skis (USIs) to add some stability with the 13.5 inch track.

Woodys Dualys fixes the darting. Also check tie rod ends. make sure the ski sits flat or a little toe up. Our Arctic Cats needed those fixes. Jam a 1/4" piece of metal under the rear part of the Ski mount rubber
That's exactly what I did to my mxz800 for the darting issues. Put a chunk of plastic under the ski mount, towards the back.👍

With all that green being a fan of "The Incredible Hulk" I figured I see purple to complete the theme, but I missed on that one. Maybe Marvel Comics aren't as big North of the border. Cool sled anyway, I have to watch you guys in Canada have fun with those since we don't have snow anymore! Getting tough to do anything the way things are going. Have a good one or "Nice One" Pete!
Yessir changing those little blocks setting so it gets more travel will help you get more traction but if you still need more angle of the dangle take that block right out and hold on buddy cause those skis will always be up
All you got to do to steering block is sand mating surface down and it will fit awesome love your vids keep it up

I run Slydog 8 inch powderhounds , with 9 inch carbides , and she tracks exactly where I point it , no darting , 1/8 inch of toe in , with a few degrees of negative chamber , and I hardly ever get off the trail , and it corners , and I push it , 2004 switchback , my buddies all ride latest and greatest , and they can’t keep up ! SLYDOG ! Nice design on the bottom , I’ve tried them all , and found the pot of GOLD !

Hey cool sled. I bought one of those new . I never did find my tool kit either!! WOW!! anyways another very simple mod is shave the head .030-.050 and this machine is untouchable. Always need 91 octane but well worth the trouble!!

Yup , I used to get me old 1991 Tundra to dangle like that, just had to loosen the stopper strap a couple holes.

As allways Pete...thanks for another video. Allways good to see what yer up to. Ive been working on my 7 sleds alot due to lack of illinois snow and you know they dont really need anything but i allways find something to improve on them for next season. This years been a bust for me, havent had enough snow to even do a shakedown run to gas station for fresh fuel lol. We appreciate all the videos and as far as that F7 is concerned...Nice One!!!
