Love this channel. I’m a guy that wishes I could live on my snowmobile and ride year round. Enjoy watching you fix these sleds. Anytime you can watch anything about snowmobiles is a good day
Wow, those poor sleds are more neglected than a 3rd step child! It makes me sad to see sleds that dont get the proper love they deserve. Keep up the entertaing vids!! Thanks for sharing your knowledge! Good one! 😉
I'd take any one of them sleds right now and have her on the mountain by thi# time next week. There steals of a deal if it's truthful. Part I don't like is it just says I paid 250 for this. Another fun video for us sled heads Pete, thanks! I was taught many years ago to use a figure eight knot in the starter cords, has served me well over the years! Cheers!
@@NightshiftCustom You have to shim your clutch Sheeves to the belt. Gates is a far better belt durometer wise. The same would happen with Dayco or Ultimax. Sorry bout yer lack of snow up that way. Kinda crazy to think we have more here in Minnesota for once in a while. Love the vids. You keep em comin and I'll keep watchin em!!🍻🍻
Just stumbled across your channel, and enjoying the content. Learned something years ago regarding recoils. That little square notch in the wheel is used to wind the rope back in. Put it together, with no spring tension, and connect the rope. Put a knot on the outside of the recoil to keep it from pulling through, then pull a length of rope through that square slot, then holding the rope, just wind up the spool. When you get to where you want, pull the rope to pull the slack out, and let it wind itself back up.
I think the sled engineers are trying to see how complicated(expensive) they can make the new machines ! I enjoy your videos, I currently have a 95 600 vmax an only rode it around my house a few times and once again, the snow has magically disappeared !
Thanks for another awesome video..I learn lots by watching your videos on sled repair.. By the way up here in Espanola Ontario we got about 1/2 inch of snow last night!! LOL Not your normal winter!
Yep. I've owned and worked on some Fords myself. What a feller, or fellette saves on the price tag they end up spending on over priced parts. And then some. Keep up the good work.
Dude you are the funniest guy I have seen in some time, ( A compliment BTW) Thank you so much for great content and the Awesome sense of humor , you had me laughing so hard on a couple videos I was about in tears.
Hey buddy awesome work but a few things, you can get a oil lite a arm bushing kit at royal distributing for these sleds to tighten up the front end Nicly! And that’s a x package sled so the shocks need to be rebuilt, not super expensive but will bring back his ride! Your hilarious bud, am subscribed 👌
Congratulations on the 10k also watching you put that recoil back together brought back memories so had to have a cool down dart to ease past frustration lmfao 🤣
Ya them are so fun. Why can't they just roll it that extra 1/8 of an inch then tape the bloody thing. I swear it's another dirty dealer trick. So they can laugh at and charge ya 100 buck when you bring in your spaghetti and chanisaw lunch. And u coulda bought the whole dang cover ready to go for 10 buck more.
