I’ve spoken to many police officers in varying states of sobriety or legal standing, and I’ve only ever had civil, kind encounters with them; furthermore, police officers gave me sage advice when I became suicidal as a young man on the way to the hospital. Not all of them are so pure but I’m always glad they’re trained and ready in case some knucklehead starts shooting off rounds for no reason.

I had to replay it several times. It looks like the guy was almost down, but not flat, because his legs were bent and underneath his stomach. From that position, he could reach for his gun, shoot and them run off more quickly than if he were laying completely flat. That said, it was a dangerous tactic and it could have caused him to fire his gun as he fell. Police face danger and risk their safety on a daily basis and they have to make split decisions, without the benefit of hindsight, for their safety, as well as for the safety of others. I wouldn't be able to handle their job.
Jacob Dangler I'm sorry you have to revert to name calling. I just felt it was a bit much for a professional. I have several cops in my family and I know several others. Some are good and some aren't. The aren't ones give black eyes to the good ones. The ones who abuse their authority make it hard for those who do the job right. Because of the bad ones none of them seem to be able to get good word from the people no matter if they do the job right or not. That's why I have an issue with an officer doing the job in an abusive manner. Yep bad guys have it coming but we can't get down to their level or we're not any better then they are.
