- THIS VIDEO IS FROM DECEMBER 2019.
EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley HomeStore are teaming up every week to bring you some good news during Feel Good Friday!
We want to thank people in our community with random acts of kindness and leave you feeling good.
GENTRI - The Gentlemen Trio was in eastern Idaho in December 2019 on their Christmas tour and the group was kind enough to help us out for Feel Good Friday.
The Meals on Wheels program at the Idaho Falls Senior Citizens’ Community Center is run by volunteers who spend their time and gasoline delivering meals every day to folks in our neighborhoods. Many of the recipients don’t have any visitors, except their Meals on Wheels volunteer, and those visits mean a lot.
Casey Elliott, Brad Robins and Bradley Quinn Lever of GENTRI offered to volunteer some of the meals this week and sing a few Christmas carols with the senior citizens. It was an afternoon that won’t be forgotten!
Watch the video above to see how it all played out. Животные
What a perfect early christmas gifts for these olds folks.

The young lady at the end reminded me of my mommy.
She loved music and dancing.
My boys and grandma had a little dance party before I took them to school every morning. Even when she was at her sickest my older 2 boys would hold her up so she could dance with them. She didn't want to miss out.
We lost her 5 yrs ago she is missed everyday but her memories are alive.
RIP Mommy
what a beautiful memory , may your sweet beloved momma rest in peace ❤❤❤❤
Sheila, she was my favorite!
Sorry for my ignorance, I live in Wales UK, , never heard of Gentri before , shall never forget hearing there voices for the first time , I cried like no one was watching nor did I care , watching the reactions of these beautiful older people humbled me , Love east idaho news , and now gentri , I don't have material things to give but have been blessed with a huge heart ,so blessings of love ,health and happiness to you all
You are likewise loved

The twinkle in their eyes. Home Delivery meals are so, so important to many.
Bless all for doing this. Bless the elderly. Often all they see is the stuff. So God Bless you all.
This made me tear up. I took care of my grandma until she died at 92 and visitors made such a difference! Some never had visitors and it was so sad!
RIP to your grandma; I'm sure she is in a lovely place watching over you, her lovely and caring granddaughter. Hope many memories you shared together bring a smile to your face and heart, Debbie!
Ugh, this makes me cry. I’m helping my fiancé take care of his grandmother now. She’s in her 90’s & her kids never come to see her. Breaks my heart for her that we’re the only ones she sees day in & day out. I almost resent her kids for not coming to see her being only hours away🥺😫💔
@@lwchelsie Try not to feel resentment, although I can understand it's probably hard not to, but just know what a difference you and your fiance are making in improving her quality of life, and you guys are definitely earning your angels' wings!! Congrats on the upcoming nupitals and hope you two have many healthy, happy years together!!
Thank you! I learned a lot! Her sons didn’t come visit her so it was just me. My mom had died in 99.
I completely get that frustration when their own kids won’t come to visit them. My uncles didn’t even come down before she died when she was given days to live and one only lived an hour and a half away. It was painful to see her hurt every birthday and Christmas, etc.
My tears can't stop felling from ....oh my lord I pray to you please watch this people ,,,bless them and never ever in life comes the feeling of loneliness ...coz it hurts much....
Isnt it incredible when you go to bless others you are blessed in return
This reminded me that some of the best gifts are not made of money! These beautiful people were blessed with music and connection. Good job Gentry, Meals on wheels, and Nate Eaton!
So beautiful, and such a wonderful gift from these guys. God bless them all.
Fresh feed for the soul! They will never forget the visit from these Christmas carolers. Please, God, bless them all. Amen.
im from new york city and in awe of east Idaho ..what a beautiful place/people that no skyscraper can match .
Very well said and I agree
i just went to Idaho...the place is beautiful and so are the people...I felt sad to leave, weird as I had never been there before the Rockies were amazing
@@donnariggs1567 I've never been there. Sounds just like it should after watching so many videos here. Glad you were able to go.
I grew up there. Couldn't agree more!
Music is the international language you could see the love felt in all of the gifted people xx
I would LOVE to see these men. 💕. They are talented, gorgeous and have heavenly voices! The last woman in the blue sweater was LOVING every second. God bless you!
merry merry christmas to everyone. share love and like.
And to you and your family from me Kevin ❤️🏴🇬🇧
These young men are anointed, they truly sing like angels❣
The Lord needs us all to look after our elderly
The hearts of those men are as pure as their voices. Love to listen to them. 💝💝
Did you see her sing along? Ugh I’m crying
THANK YOU EID AND GENTRI if this does not bring a tear to your eye's then you are not human,THANK YOU JP
This brought back memories of local carolers who came and sang to my husband at Christmas before he died. thank you, GENTRI, for bring such joy to these people.
I just started crying when they sang. . . .thank you for the love and compassion towards the elderlies
Smiles and tears streaming.. God bless Gentri, and East Idaho News.. Nate you have the best job in the world..
No idea who these young men are, but this segment took me through a whirlwind of memories along with my passion for our elders; while I care for my mother who's lived through two wars, and a stroke. Our local Meals on Wheels was a life saver for my parents years ago. I encouraged my mom to volunteer with my dad, they loved it, and it's since closed. Thank you SO much for spreading their joy, and allowing us to share in one of their most touching/uplifting moments.
Keep watching them, they are amazing.
Little Drummer Boy is my favorite. I was hoping they would sing it.
I’m less than 5 minutes into this video, and it has gotten me right in the feels.
Me, too.. Tears & sniffles. So beautiful.
Me too😪❣
Frick. Now I HAVE to Google Gentri, as they have great voices. Eargasms, ya know?
How can something so utterly beautiful be so unknown? I was crying like a baby, what amazing and incredible talent!
I lost my mum a week ago today, this had me sobbing. RIP Ma x
So sorry. Praying for comfort this Christmas.
My sincere condolences, on the loss of your mother ❤️ *BIG HUGS 🤗 *

@@homestraight you’re more than welcome. I can personally relate to the pain, because the loss of a parent is such a tough pill to swallow.
The lady in the blue sweater u guys made her day. U guys gave her butterflies.
Such sad places nursing homes are. God bless these guys
Focus on the good, such as this, and step up to make them not so sad!
Sorry, I don't think this is a nursing home. It's a retirement home for independent living seniors. I am 75 and live in such a community. Our residents still drive cars and get around but some like me, gave up my car. Too expensive to maintain but I miss desperately the independence of my old car, a Toyota. SO I get around on a Pace Bus or taxis, a private chauffeur I call them. So maybe Santa will bring me a new, used car to help me. I live alone but I'm not sad, I have many hobbies and interests to keep me busy Sad are the people that never developed a hobby.
@@passion777able nice to see you have the internet...that connects you to the world...I love it I learn so much....remember you can be around a million people and still be alone...know we love out here in internet land...Merry Christmas may your health stay the best it can ....blessings and Happy New Year, too!
@@cheezheadz3928 No need for your comment I have stepped up I used to be a certified nursing assistant and I worked with people with Alzheimer’s and dementia so I’ve seen a lot of things in my life
@@passion777able Yes hobbies are very important I have a senior citizen neighbor that I keep an eye out on. When Covid hit here in San Antonio really hard and everything was flying off the shelves in the grocery store I went over to check on him to make sure he had things that he needed and we started to develop a friendship and I check on him every day and I walk his dog for him every night with my dog to give his dog a nice long walk because my neighbors knees are in really bad shape and he can’t walk very far. But he gets out and drives and goes places. I’m 55 and when I’m not working and I have free time I make jewelry it’s a fun hobby. have a blessed day
Bless these great, kind men and bless the residents who live there.
Aww, what beautiful and lively seniors!! Thanks, guys, for heading out there and sharing your talent, bringing much happiness to these folks!
This was perfect for them, they were singing along and you can see the joy on their face, so nice
This video deserves way more views. This was incredibly heart warming. Gentri is a class act. I don't know any of thier music but they have beautiful voices and beautiful hearts. 💕
Check them out. They do the best rendition of Oh Holy Night I have ever heard!🙏❤
I’m not sure who enjoyed this more, Gentri, Nate and his crew or the recipients of this beautiful music! There were smiles all around! Thank you all for spreading joy and love this holiday season! Peace!
In a time when we are so depressed, they bring joy.
The world need more of this. Smiles, kindness, music and fun. ❤️😂
BEAUTUFUL!!!! May our LORD JESUS be praised!!!!
To have a great group like Gentri to sing to them personally, what a great gift.
This video touched my heart, I cried the entire time! I was a "Caregiver" for my mom who had progressive Alzheimer's and dementia! Sadly, GOD called my momma home on "Christmas Eve 2020"!! My heart will never be the same without "Momma"!!! GOD bless you guy's for showing concern, love and laughter to the elderly!!! Never take anything or anyone for granted as tomorrow is not promised!!! Live life to the fullest!!!
An amazing trio of human beings...an example for all of us! I so appreciate the warm hearts of these three men.who give so generously of their time, talents and skills. THANK YOU!
What a wonderful thing to do! The world could use more good men like these 3! Wish them much success!

What a beautiful thing for Gentri to do for our seniors. We need to hear more often about the good things happening in our country and not all the political division.

The last ladies..stole heart..thank y'all..in Jesus name.. Amen 🙌
This brought back some lovely Memories of when My Friend Gillian and
I used to Sing for and Visit The Patients at a Local Hospital for The Elderly in Scotland ~ It felt good knowing we had brightened Their day ~ Especially for those Who had no Family or Friends to Visit Them ~
Every time I see this group they have e in tears they are so charitable thanks Feel good Friday x
Very humbling of them to bring some joy to the sick and lonely! They truly showed that is better to give than to receive to be happy 😊!
Praise the Lord! \O/ \O/
This was beautiful - brought me to tears.
Music uplifts the spirit :)
Bless you Merry Gentlemen ❤️❤️❤️
Speechless, so loving, so Christmas
God Bless the older folks.. The gentlemen singing have heart...
Gentri has my respect, what a great group of guys
The lady with the dog was sweet, and the lady who grabbed the flowers was hilarious. It's very kind of Gentri to do this. I saw Gentri live in March, 2020, and they are even better on stage.
Oh the looks of delight and joy on these elderly folks’ faces is beyond beautiful! The ladies dancing is so wonderful! What a group of absolutely great young men. God bless them. I am definitely a fan.
Voices of angels
My father lived his last 2 years in a care home. We are lucky that he had 6 kids, all of us over 50, and at that time, 3 of us were 60 and over. This meant we were ourselves retired, and one of us, and our children, and their children, could see him every day. ( For the record, Dad had 6 kids, 15 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren, 2 more have come along in the last year, thye'll never meet him, but they'll know about him in due course) Some ladies and gentlemen were not so lucky, some of their families had jobs and could only get there once a week or less. Some didn't have anyone, so we tried to go over and spend time with them, and get to know them. Our Care Workers are unsung heroes. So, to Care Workers around the world, thank you, and never think we don't appreciate you. And good work Guys, wherever your lives take you, may you get there in peace and happiness.
This was a lovely gesture. When there are too many silent days it can become difficult to converse. It becomes easier not to bother and that's such a shame. 😍
Boy, for a singing group they sure look alike. Two of them are identical, even their hair !!!
OMG GOD THIS WAS SO "AMAZING" THANK YOU ALL. YOU BRIGHTEN UP OUR LIVES WHEN WE NEED IT THE MOST.
Merry Christmas to everyone... love fr Mt Province, PHILIPPINES
You are a child. You become an adult.
You think about those 2 seasons of life but you don't think about old age and that season of life and then one day you open your eyes and you are old.
And that's where I am..
I woke up old.
So this one hits close to home.
Amazing voices...Angels!!!
My face is hurting with smiling love gentri they seem genuinely nice fellas sending love from UK England ❤️
Thank you Meals on Wheels, Nate and Team and Gentri, for taking so much joy and happiness to the Senior Citizens. Christmas is such a beautiful time of the year, but sadly it can also be the most loniest time of the year for our elders. God bless you all. 🎶❣🎶🙏
Oh my,the joy that music brings to us is amazing, and that was the last Christmas before Covid-19 struck. When the World was still a safe place to gather together and hug! We all took it for granted. The elderly need this interaction more than ever nowadays,it just makes me cry watching the happiness Gentri brought knowing it’s now impossible to do these simple but loving and selfless gestures 😢 God Bless you for your beautiful kindness and humbleness 💚🇮🇪
I have such a tender spot in my heart for our elderly, you have no idea how much this means to them. I have worked with our seniors and know that music helped my dad with dementia. Thank you. I love you guys, you have helped me through the spirit keep moving forward.
Absolutely amazing
Really great! Too often the oldies are forgotten about. Very nice! ❤️
I would be a bubbly bawling mess. My mom is in a assisted living facility and thus touched my heart. Thank you Gentri and Idaho state news.
Music makes everyone smile 🇬🇧🇬🇧
Talent good looks and loads of kindness God bless you Gentri
Such a beautiful thing to do for these beautiful people. Thank you Nate and East Idaho News
I retired to Spain to be close to son in military. They were reassigned and was left in a country I can't afford to leave at 74 nor speak the language. It would be wonderful to hear a voice from home. These men I hope realise how much they are appreciated and loved.
Darma’s JOY!! 💖🎁💝🙏 God bless her with continuing joys & His Shalom!
God bless y'all. This made my day as well. Not many good ppl in this world now days so thank y'all
So wonderful 4 them 2 bring joy 2 these seniors. Singing about the 1 who brings joy to this world. ❤
All my life i wondered where heaven was .. up in the sky ? up with the twinkling stars ? always wondering... Today i know that at least part of Heaven is in East Idaho ... i know this because of all the Angels i see on East Idaho News .. Must be a GREAT place to live . Merry Christmas All !!
Listening on Christmas night..bless you brothers..tears..so beautiful!! So perfect.
My mom is in a rehab center right now. Recovering from neck surgery in January and stil recovering. It
Cried through the whole video.
My dad Dr. Gale Seigler in Plainview Texas had a band “The Old Masters of Swing” along with Dr. Clovis Clough, Dr. Curtis Baldwin, Archie Keyes and Wilmont Eaton. They all have passed away. But they always went several times a year to the nursing homes to entertain them. It was a blessing to both them and the residents. They played for them over a 40 year span. The residents always looked forward to them coming! Merry Christmas. Blessings to you and yours. Jesus is Lord!
Giving back a little to the people who built the world for us.
Bringing cheers to nursing home residents that’s really sweet Gentri more power and success to you guys, God is smiling at you
Look at these happy seniors 🤗😊😆Gentri.. what a gift you bring🎶
Even if it's a repost , it's still fantastic and a wonderful way to get into the Christmas spirit! 💖👍💖 🤗
I wish we had something like this in Canada. Our nursing home has been hit hard by covid-19 with 100 people no longer with us. Our staff are overworked and under paid, sadly we needed the military to step in. We have residents from under 60 to 95 and older. Sadly the families are not allowed to visit and Christmas looks very depressing for residents. Merry Christmas 🎄 everyone and to these special people doing Secret Santa programs God bless you with good health, happiness and prosperity. 🎄🎄💕💕💕💕💕💕
So glad to see them bring a bright light into their lives.
