We surprise one of GENTRI's biggest fans after a medical issue keeps her from their concert

EastIdahoNews.com and Ashley in Idaho Falls and Pocatello are partnering to honor people in our community for Feel Good Friday. Every week, we surprise someone deserving of special recognition.
GENTRI was recently in Idaho and when they found out one of their biggest fans wouldn't be able to attend their show, we decided to make something happen for Feel Good Friday.
Debbie has loved "The Gentlemen Trio since the group was established in 2014. She recently went in for minor back surgery that resulted in blood clots in her leg. After being flown to a hospital and a stay in the ICU, she was finally able to return to her home in Burley but her health wasn't strong enough to make the trip to GENTRI's Rexburg show last weekend.
So GENTRI brought a mini-show to her living room and we were along for the surprise! Check out her unforgettable reaction in the video player above.

I love how the pianist didn't expect any love and stayed by the door, but she acknowledged him and asked for a hug. Loved this one!
I love that these guys are humble enough to make these stopovers to people who really enjoy their music. What a special gift they give these people. What great guys. Beautiful voices!
She is also right about their piano player. I have heard him solo before and he unbelievably good.

I love that song. The recipient is in heaven! ~~~I had a friend whose car was hit by a tanker truck in 1978. He spent 40 years in a nursing home, passing in 2018. Every time I hear "I'll be home for Christmas" it still gets to me. I'm so happy for this lady ; she deserves it..~~ GENTRI has a new fan!

So, quite a few years back, Gentri came to SE Washington State and sang at a Church event. Only a few songs, but been hooked ever since. Then, last year we saw Mat and Savannah and Stephen played the piano in Spokane, Washington. I have seen these Beautiful Souls in person. What a gift. I am an old lady who believes in Miracles. Merry Christmas to All and Good Vibes too...

Im UK based , but still like to catch up with Secret Santa ,as well as feel good Friday . It's a little boost of kindness in a world , where people get forgotten so easily .
A small gesture of making someone feel cared for , can go an awful long way . Buy them a coffee , open a door , holding someone's arm , who's struggling to cross a street . Or in this case , sing them some songs , in the comfort of their own home . A moment in time they will never ever forget .
Even if you only manage to improve the life of one person at a time , that one act can spread a feeling that money alone can never buy .
10 million pounds spent on a sports car , could never even come close to buying a stranger in need , a hot meal .
These men gave this lady a gift to keep her hopes alive , in the darkest of moments .
That's something that the very wealthy need reminding of . Money doesn't love you , or respect you . Money alone doesn't make you happy . Money simply gives you choices . You either choose to do good , or you choose to selfishly hold onto your money tightly .
Secret Santa is a person who understands they have the power to do good things . He\she is a person at peace . And using their money to give back to a community they care about .

What an amazing surprise for this lady. Her eyes lit up and her smile literally covered her face. Then, when Gentri began to sing, she mouthed the words to the song right along with them. So beautiful. There is no doubt she will never, ever forget this. Thank you, Gentri and Nate, and EIN team for making her feel so special. 🎵❤🎵
Goodness, the love on her face, like all the pain vanished! I have had 4 lumbar surgeries over 30 years. Never sorry, always grateful to those who helped me recover. All the best. PATIENCE!

I first knew of Nate when he used to do local tv news in Richmond,Va, & though I didn’t watch a lot, I always felt he was Special & meant for greater things, than what he was able to do here. Thankfully he left😢, instead of falling into the Slime of Corporate news,& made not only His Dream come true, but Dreams that Hadn’t even been Dreamt of for Himself, Family, Employees he Always credits,& Good people facing huge obstacles & hardships, with a Secret Santa who had total Faith in him, & his Genuine, hardworking, & caring team, to bring Joy, not only to the recipients, & those They’ve “Paid it forward” to, but to people around the World who watch his YT channel, who have been inspired to be Better themselves!!! So many Dreams, Hopes, & Prayers thought to be Impossible to be answered, Made possible, for these lovely Humble & Giving people, shouldering their struggles with smiles & positive attitudes, in what are some Very dark & frightening times in their lives. I'd actually never heard of Gentri until I happened on the Secret Santa video's a few years ago. This made me kinda tear up a bit! The look on her face when she saw them! They do have the most loyal and loving fans! I absolutely love their Christmas singing, it's just beautiful.
