@@TimberlakeYoga nice to know you are back if it’s what you want
I love your plants 🪴 😁
Thank you! I love caring for plants...I took a few botany courses in university many years and have been in awe ever since! 🌿❤️
@@TimberlakeYoga you have a lot of talents ❤️❤️
Aww...Merci!
thank you thank you for a very healing practice 🙏
if possible, can you set videos so they don’t play an ad at the end? I wish all yoga channels could do that
Hello Maddie! I'm so happy to hear you find this practice helpful and healing💖 and thank you for your kind feedback. I double checked my ads and there should never be an ad at the end of my videos. You may be getting an ad on the next video playing if you have your "Auto play next video" on. I went into my settings and turned it off a while ago because I do find it unsettling when the next video/ad plays while I'm in savasana. I hope this helps 🙂 Have a wonderful day xo
@@TimberlakeYoga tysm for checking! i always have it off but youtube doesn't care haha. always appreciate your uploads!
Excellent as always, Brittany! Have some questions for you: this felt more like a restorative practice for me, why is it yin? Maybe I didn't feel the stretches so intense...and the second question is what would you say are the main restrictions to this practice, speaking of health issues? Thank you so much!
Namasté 🙏🏻

Hello Cecilia, I agree, this practice could have definitely felt more restorative in some people's bodies. In my body, I hold an incredible amount of stress in my upper body, especially around my heart and mid back area. For me, I was able to feel quite a bit of tension and compression in all of these shapes. You could always try substituting different props to create more sensation in your body. For example, in supported fish you may like to rest on 2 blocks in a T shape, that way you can increase the height under your thoracic/mid back area. In melting heart, you could again substitute with two blocks on their highest heights so your elbows are resting higher and creating more compression in the thoracic spine and tension along the lateral and front sides of the body. In supported bananasana, you could increase the height of the bolster by laying another bolster or blankets on top. If that does not created enough tension along the lateral side of the body you could get rid of props all together and come to lay on your back in bananasana. In starfish pose, you could also increase the height of the bolster with two bolsters or extra blankets. In twisted deer, you could get rid of the bolster or you could come onto your back in a twisted roots. I hope this information helps! Great question and it's always nice to hear from you 😊🙏💕Namaste xoxo
@@TimberlakeYoga you're right, maybe my body was not that stressed on that particular area and I felt like I've made almost no effort while doing the shapes. Excellent explanation Brittany, thank you so much for taking the time for it!
Greetings from Mexico!

I felt so much relief in the upper back especially after start fish. Not only physical but emotional pain as well. Is that where emotions are restored?
Emotions definitely could be stored there ❤️❤️❤️

Hi Brittany, thanks as always for sharing, great practice ♥️ I impulse bought a new bolster last weekend, as my other one is quite large and really firm. The new one is a bit smaller and full of seeds, or rice, or buckwheat (or something) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Anyhoo, much softer and more comfortable... and great timing too, so I could try it out with your practice. Take care 🙏
Hello Paul, I am so excited to hear you indulged in a second bolster! Double the bolsters = double the bliss hehe 😂 Probably one of my most favorite restorative poses with reclined goddess where you lay back on a bolster propped at about 45 deg and then place your second bolster under your knees....mmm hmmmm yeah. Well, I hope you have a great week and thank you for saying hello! Lots of love, Brittany xo
@@TimberlakeYoga I like the way you think, double the bolsters = double the fun. I'm on board with that. Sometimes I just want to throw myself into a pit full of cushions and chillout into whatever shape I land in. ☺️
I definitely feel the same! 🥰
