I agree, but probably to keep up the tempo of the set.
It probably also has a lot to do with the tuning of Alex's drums. The outro, his set is tuned WAY differently.

@@TheProject1177 A lot of singers do that live, I'd argue all singers. Go to more live shows, or watch other bands live on RUclips. You'd be hard pressed to find a band/singer that doesn't do that. And that's because singers are human and need to breath. And that generally happens when a singer is running out of air or is timing their breaths so they don't pass out on stage from lack of oxygen while singing certain parts. Unless you're talking about a completely different thing than what I'm referring to. But I assume you're talking about when singers either start or stop a verse before it normally starts/stops compared to the instrumentals? (Not really sure how to explain it, but I'm fairly certain I know what you're referring to).

Uh_Cool_Dood Perhaps that is what he prefers to have running in his in-ear monitor while on stage (lead guitar and lead vocal). However, this is just a wild guess.

Why are the vocals constantly delayed by like 1/4 second? Driving me nuts! Super awesome shot of one of my favorite bands, but that just kept popping out at me. I'm sure it has something to do with how they recorded it.
