This pedal is the best thing I’ve ever bought. Having the eq to sculpt your tone before it hits the amp is priceless.

I just discovered you, Rabea. I've been looking at getting the Tumnus for a while now and this is the best review I've seen of any pedal really. I appreciate you taking the time to show all the different applications, not just how it sounds. I wish more gear reviews were this informative. Thanks a bunch. You rock!!! 🤘

Great demo! I'd say there are three tones in here that are absolutely fantastic. When the pedal is set for clean boost for both guitars, and when you had the strat into the drive channel with medium gain. Fantastic!

I should've instantly come to your channel when I was trying to look for good demos of Tumnus. Surprising how little people demo it hitting their guitar hard or it being other than telly. You know how to go full range from little to full.

Thanks for combining the Tumnus Deluxe and Paisley Deluxe, Rabbea! I was on the fence about which one to buy but now I’ll be ordering both! They’ll be my first Wampler pedals. I played the Tumnus Deluxe today and a couple other times and it slays!
Those two pedals really sound amazing stacked!

Rabea- Great job on the demo. I almost bought the original Tumnus a couple weeks ago, until the guy in the shop said a Deluxe version was coming out- glad I waited!
Wanted to add- I’ve been following you, and Rob etc. for about two years. I wanted to say it’s been wonderful watching you develop beyond your “metal”, Nuno Bettencourt style- into an incredibly soulful, lyrical player as well! This, paired with your kindness, openness, and the general great person vibe you exude is really an inspiration!
Kudos to you on being an all around great presence in this world of RUclips!

Thanks so much for showing it before and after overdrive. I have my mini before and wanted to see how the EQ influenced the sound before. It’s more subtle than after but didn’t over power it like it did after.

The real magic happens when you boost a full on cranked Tumnus deluxe with a regular Tumnus mini. My favorite drive tones come from stacking the two.

I have one and its hands down the best overdrive I have. It sounds great with all my amps, even my solid state practice amp, but the three band EQ really puts it over the top. My tubescreamer just doesn't get used as much now.

Tumnus after a Fuzz is pure joy... and I've never been a huge fan of fuzzes. The Keeley Sfocato Fuzz Wah is an unruly beast... but slap a Tumnus after it and it becomes a sweet lead-machine.

Dead thread here, but I love this pedal with the gain at 3 o'clock. Singles or humbuckers, low or hot switch, that's where I get sounds that make me want to keep playing. Edge-of-break-up gain levels also work really well for chords, blues, etc. It's all there with the 3-band EQ.

I feed a Silver Archer into it as a pre boost. Sounds amazing if both are set moderately. I also use an Ego sustainer occasionally in front of those two. But the gain has to be down a bit. The reason I ordered the Tumnus deluxe is because of the active bass eq. I have 2 Marshall 100 watt heads and cabs running in stereo. When playing at “WIFE FRIENDLY LEVELS” there is no bottom end. The Tumnus helps immensely :)

The Tumnus always sounds so tight. I want to try one. I seem to dislike most of the recordings of the distorted sound the Tumnus gives. In the high end of the tone it sounds keyboardish and less tone like, or to digital, then the way it fades also mechanical or something. I still want to get one because it seems like a lot of great guitarists like them. Might be something in the recorded sounds.

I know germanium fuzzes should go first in the chain, or maybe after a true bypass tuner, but what do you do with two germanium fuzzes? i have a question.
I am using an epiphone les paul with a tumnus deluxe which goes to VOX pathfinder 10w.
the sound is more crunchy as it should be and not that clear. Is it because of the amp?

Budget Victory amps and budget Strymon pedals, with a budget classic strat! The amp part will be toughest, I guess.
