This watch (without the airplane on the back) was my Grail. Finally made it happen about 15 years ago on a cruise excursion. Still love wearing it.

I’ve been in the market for a 5010 for a month or so and I’d love to give Watchbox my business but (just some honest feedback here) you guys need to reevaluate your pricing models. I was able to buy cheaper brand new at an AD with a discount than what you would sell for used. Great video though as usual.

I have one of there. Huge on my wrist especially after my surgery. Falling off the edge. But I love it.
I simply don't have the wrist to pull of a watch this big, it would look ridiculous on me, so I ended up getting the Mark XVIII and love it. Maybe I'll have to give the 43mm version a try one day, but I just don't think I could ever pull off a 46.2mm watch

I have one in white gold. So what gives? I have been offered buecu $$$ airside by people that employed by DFS ie those with a keen eye. I believe only 7 were made, true ? ☮️

I looked at a couple of their used watch prices. After I see them I buy new. I don’t get what they are doing on watches that are readily available at ADs and the grey market.

It's a pilot's watch. The big crown is what gives it unique character. Go for the boring Mark XVIII if you want a smaller watch without the big crown.

It is a 1940s pilot watch replica . The onion crown was an original feature to enable adjustment when wearing flying gauntlets. If you don't like it , that's cool , buy something else .
