TP5 Pix all day. The feedback you get especially when putting is perfect. The alignment works great but my favorite part is being able to see how well you actually hit the putt. If you see the ball wobbling than you know that you didn’t strike the ball well but when you see it just rolling end over end you know instantly that you hit exactly where you aimed. My current gamer and favorite ball

To be fair
TP5 has recently been my ball of choice. So soft and so long compared to when I would play with Callaway’s. I think the fact that the Pix is a TP5 would be more beneficial throughout the entire round of golf, although the alignment of the Callaway Triple Track may be a tad easier to align. Thanks for another great video Rick!

I started using these balls after I found 1 on the course. I really like this ball. I've shot 78/ 81/76 and I'm never going back to my old ball.

I just started liking this ball too. At first I thought it was another stupid soccer ball golf ball but later realized the pix's are an alignment tool AND a visual tool.

Love the videos. Missing playing since the lockdown so i made a putting green out on the back lawn so these would be perfect 😆
Found one of these balls and couldn’t believe how much I liked the alignment. Really found it helped me start the ball off on the right line consistently. Switched from the trusty Pro V1s.

I especially like the comparison videos between high end & low end equipment. Proves to me to just keep working on techniques with the aged set I have rather than looking for a "wonder" club. Thanks!

Unless money is no object, until you get better, just play balls you find in the bush when you hit yours in there or buy balls that are cheap like top flight or wilson or whatever. I've been playing golf for 15 years, about a 13 HC (when I get back to regular play) and now I only play tp5, chromesoft, and pro v1... because I find them in the bush after beginners hit them there! (and I hit them there). I have half a 5 gallon bucket filled with premium balls now. My friend that I got into golf got obsessed with doing scavenger hunts in the gold mines of premium balls when he shanks his ball every other hole.
Just switched to these after using the ProV1s for years. Not a huge fan of color balls and patterns on them but really like these.

At first I thought it was another stupid soccer ball golf ball but then I just realized the pix had a purpose. It’s pretty neat seeing the visual effect of the pixs as the ball is rolling then slows to a stop.

I won a box of these in a closest to the pin just before the apocalypse so I’ve not had a chance to try them yet

I've never used a actual alignment on a ball until before the lock down what a difference it does make !!
I will make a little golf course in my back yard just to use them 😂
Gotta love how marketing has non scratch golfers using 'tour preferred' golf balls.....same goes for ProV's ....if you think a tour ball is helping your game, it's the exact opposite.
100 % agree i play off 6 and spin the ball loads from driver and irons so these tour balls kill my game as i have proven time and time again. I simply use 2 or 3 piece balls which spin less and go further for me. Currently using wilson staff duo soft or srixon ultisoft / soft feel which give me much better results come winter or summer 👍
I've used a found TP5 before. Used it after I run out of the ones I use. The feel is a bit iffy. I prefer the feel of what I use. However, the performance was so, so, so amazing. The length and the spin was awesome.

Never had so much fun with a golf ball. I'm a beginner level golfer, and only use these around the green (as to not loose them off the tee) and was spinning these balls so hard they stoped on the green and left divots, I was having a blast hitting 60degree lob shots 30 yards stopping within a foot or two.
I could even see the pattern of the ball spin on some of my wedge shots.
I like the TP5 a lot. I have been a Titleist guy all my life until last year when I tried the TP5 and I made the switch.
Totally agree Rick. I've used both and really prefer the TP5. Like you I find the lines on the Callaway ball to be a bit distracting when not on the green or the tee.
Part of it which you didnt comment and shown on thr box is as the ball spins it blurs and shows if you're hitting it with only forward roll/spin. I really like that 'feature'.
Just found an old ping ball that was half white and half blue... probably older than me but cool to see how similar ideas have evolved! Great Video!

I found a tp5 the other day that was basically brand new. First time hitting it and they feel awesome! My new favourite ball I think
I think that it’s very easy to line up with the balls and i who is new to golf and don’t is good in putting think they will be perfect for me.

TP5 Is my favorite and go to ball. Have been using them for 4 years now.
I hate losing expensive golf balls, so I've never invested in name brand. I tried a sleeve of TP5s the other day. Holy Crap....I easily put my drive an extra 5-10 yards every hole. It felt so much softer and gave me a little bit more confidence! Bout to check out your review of the TP5 and 5x! Thanks Rick. PS. Love the Triple Trac!
Me too RS, I’ve used for two rounds and loved them mate. Bought a box and very happy but they are going to last a long time longer than I thought when I bought them...lol.i should also mention that this years ball seems to be more durable than the first years, which is great!!

I like the Tp5 but I started hitting the calloway Chromesoft soccer ball and I can't stop. I'm addicted to the pattern.
Wow. It seems quite helpful for putting alignment. Furthermore supposed to have soft feeling from normal TP balls.

Completely agree that the PIX alignment is a better all-round system with the Triple Track lines possibly confusing an average golfer like myself when off the green. Would love to give them a try! Thanks for everything Rick.

Rick (& guy #love the podcast) I am a golfer that truly struggles with ball and path alignment on the green. I have played the triple track ball and due like it on putting green, but 100% turns me off on the fairway when lines run perpendicular to my target. Would love to give the TM pics a try! Hope everyone in the RS fan club is being safe and staying home! As a flight paramedic, please keep all first responders, nurses, doctors and front line personnel in your thoughts and prays!
I just got some of these for Christmas and only got out once so far this year. I will tell you the number one advantage - you can tell which ball is yours if your friends are not playing one!! Especially fun when I’m on the green and they aren’t!!!! LOL

Have used the triple track and agree when not on the green it is distracting. TP5 does seem to perform better in distance as well as spin on the green.

I always mark my ball anyway to aid alignment both for putting and off the tee. These TP5 balls just do a better job.

Courses are open here in Reno Nevada. However everyone is doing a great job on social distancing on the course and the courses are sanitizing the golf carts among doing everything else to keep us safe.

Been playing TaylorMade for a long time now with the No 55 on it. Was gonna move on to a No 66 next year as my age but may have to have a change in plan. Like the idea of not having to draw on my Balls
I bought two dozen direct from the maker and haven't tried them yet. Thanks to your video review, I'm really looking forward to using them and seeing improvement in my putting.
would love to try the tp5 pix golf balls ,on the chrome soft tripel track u can use the normal chrome soft ball and only use the triple track on the green so the lines won't put u off on chipping close to the green
Great video Rick. I agree with you when you say that regular shots don't seem as awkward as they are with triple track. I want to give these a try now.
Another great ball review. The TP5 pics looks like it could possibly give you a straight line to line up your ball however it lands.
