Its illegal to sell fan art that have famous characters on them... You can get sued than copy right claimed. If you want to even sell any popular character that you didnt create... You need to pay for the rights to be able to sell those charecters... And thats even if the original owner alows it. Stay safe and learn more.
@@Obistopmotions learn about it... They can be sneaky with it... Trust me imagine you create your work just to have people draw it and sell it without giving you a dime... Meaning your sales would drop immensely.

There is no way you or anybody could sell their art for $30. For me, the art supplies I have to get from Michaels, (usually using Academy paint) plus the canvas even with coupons would set me back by over $40 dollars. For you, you're work is worth at least $100 dollars, just for the amount of skill you have and detail. This is the problem with trying to sell to 'the middle class'. They want to walk into an art gallery like it's a Walmart, and go "I want that, that, and that! And do you have change for a $20?" Then cuss out the artist when they say, I'm sorry, but I cannot do that price. L_L
Hey don't take my word on it but copyright is generated the moment you create a new image/work. It's up to you to protect your copyright by filing actions against those who violate the terms of your copyright
Most people do the canvas size multiplied such as an 8x10 being 80$ personally I price point based on effort but I also do a lot more sculptures than I do paintings or drawings
Hi, I'm just researching for information. I'd like to start doing prints but am overwhelmed with a good place to start. Do you have a video with that type of advice ? Or would you be willing to share where you get your prints done? I have a printer ,but am limited to 8x10 as my largest size . Thanks in advance for any advice ✌🌿
Scan them..if they too big I think u can go to office max?? I can't remember where I had to go but let them scan it for you know a flash drive and then you'll be able to print your art. U just have to kinda do research if u care for the quality paper and stuff But yeah that's how it generally works..at least that's what I would do I save a painting I did and just doing research on the printer and stuff
Can you share where you go to get prints or do you have a large printing machine of your own? I’m trying to make prints of my abstract paintings, but idk where to even start..
How do you sell these without licensing rights on those images? The photos you used have to be copyrighted and you are just copying off photographs. Don't the photographers sue you?

He'll probably wont answer but dont do what hes doing... He is selling fan art. You think thats not that bad.... But here is some insight. Only the original creator can use any of the characters and nobody else is allowed unless been given permission or you pay royalties. However, many are still selling fan art without permission and get away with it as they do not get too widespread with their work. He can sell if he payed the price. But if he didnt then he is doing something illegal which would infringe amoung copyrights and he could get in sirius trouble. But dont give up... Just design your own character and sell like that.
The art looks great but I have a question. How do you get away with using trademarked characters like the joker and Spider-Man without getting sued? I’m asking because I want to make T-shirts with some of these characters to sell online and at my school.

Only the original creator can use any of the characters and nobody else is allowed unless been given permission or you pay royalties. Now the real question is... Is this Fan Art cuz... I'm an artist myself and drawing Famous or Copyrighted charecters is kind of illegal if and i quote "Only the original creator can use any of the characters and nobody else is allowed unless been given permission or you pay royalties.
