Got the same brand plate for my g19mos to run the 507kx2. The chpws plates were out of stock so I ended up buying the dpp. Was really impressed with the build quality and machining seems really good. Fits perfect!
I'm putting the same setup on my new Glock 43x mos this weekend I'm glad to hear good things about this plate. How has it held up to some Range Shooting?
It works beautifully with the DPP adapter plate and a 507k. Just use blue Loctite and mark a hash line on your screws so you know if they walk out...I have hundreds of rounds through my hellcat rdp and no problems.....Apex trigger and a Hogue grip.
Did you by chance use the greendot 507k? Haven't found any forums or comments saying the HE507K GRX2 will fit with this plate as well. It has the same footprint, so we'll see. Adapter and optic are on the way regardless, so.
I bought the DPP plate and was impressed with the quality. I actually calipered it and it is the advertised .058" thickness. I installed with locktite and a torque driver and the front end kept lifting becoming loose after a day at the range. The marks I placed on the screws indicating the screws are not backing out. Not sure what exactly is going on but im returning it.
How has the DPP plate held up? I'm trying to decide between the DPP plate, or the C&H plate. C&H changed their design. Their new plate looks exactly like the DPP plate. The C&H plate is .070 thick, and the DPP is only 0.58 thick. C&H says everyone who has bought a DPP plate has had issues, and are now buying the C&H to replace the DPP plates. The C&H plate is double the cost....
Bro a “Fat wrench” torque wrench is only about $60. If you’re going to drop $500 on a pistol and another $2-300 on an optic, and then do your own gunsmithing. You should definitely invest in some basic smithing tools.
The rattling from the striker is normal for this firearm - go do some research - plenty of info on it, since its a Striker fire pistol; however, I did replace the striker guide with a stainless steel unit that I picked up from lakelinellc and it works with the OEM striker. It was damn worth it vs the stock plastic striker guide that can easily break and broke on my during cleaning. Without the adapter plate, would the irons cowitness or would the holosun still get in the way? I guess it’s just hard for me to tell how thick the adapter plate is from the video. Great video btw!

Just take the red dot to a gunsmith and they can drill small holes in the back of the red dot for the little post sticking up. They will just do a countersink so they won’t drill all the way through but provide enough room for the post to sit in. Thats better then the added height with the adapter plate and/or sanding them down in the back on your side. The real issue is that Holosun uses a modification of the official RMSc footprint. Their optics aren't cut for the rear lugs of the RMSc footprint or for the correct depth of front lugs, so they do not work on firearms that feature the correct RMSc footprint that has both front and rear lugs. We shouldn't have to use adaptor plates at all, if the manufacturer would just design their optic to fit a common footprint.
