Yes, but thats because Aran's speed and growth is bad enough to get doubled by swordmasters and any class that has innate crit will usually be able to crit aran big time, even lategame warriors usually end up with a small crit chance against him. Meg has 65% speed growth so even late game if shes leveled properly she doesnt get double and infact besides swordmasters should be able to double everything, plus marshalls have access to all 3 weapons in the weapon triangle. Of course you have to actually get Meg to survive her joining chapter, her base speed of 8 means tigers who uproll on speed can double her AND have enough damage to one-round her out of existence, but because her speed growth is 65% you usually get speed when you give her a level via bonus EXP, sometimes you need a second to get that 1 point of speed but with it she cant be one rounded by tigers and with just a couple points in health/defence combined can survive two rounds against any combo of laguz on her join chapter.
Michaiah is going to want that seraph robe for 1-9. It would suck for all this degenerate grinding to go to waste because one enemy walked out of the fog of war and sneezed in her general direction.
its a funny thing but if you know what miccy and BK have to do each turn you can do it flawlessly with a level 1 miccy, but otherwise you really do want at least 25 physical bulk to survive that random hit from the darkness. That said... if her speed doesnt roll well she still gets doubled by most everything on the map so she might just die off anyway.
Tbh, the DB will still struggle in Part 3 but at least with Ed Leo & Meg benefiting from the cursed grinding should help a lot as Brolan got crit to death. What I am more worried is, if losing one of the few Nihil skills will have some heavy repercussions all the way to the endgame. Hopefully not (Copium).
Bexp use is twice as much as normal. That is, to say, it cost twice as much Bexp per level in hard mode than in normal mode. Bexp abuse is much harder in hard mode (no really? Lol) because its amount is cut by 30%-50% and the previous point. ANYTHING that gives Bexp aside from chapter complete is highly valuable. Each marado knight and civilian saved gives 200Bexp for example. Biorhythms are VERY important... but only if you're playing without the weapon triangle. Then, other than skill activation chances, you can largely ignore it if you have the weapon triangle buff. Edit: my condolences on the corrupt save file 😮💨 Edit 2: dont forget that petrified units gain 10 defense [resistance remains the same]. Edit 3: micaiah's sacrifice also heals conditions like poison. It does not transfer to her like the damage does. Edit 4: 4:37:40 this is why you have the choice to buy olivi grass at the shop and the hidden olivi grass that he's talking about is in the micaiah and black knight chapter. They cost $1,600.
